any as i wanted to to try in my house.I went to this store to look at various ceramic tiles. The people there were friendly and professional. I was able to check tiles out to try in my house. The prices were competitive with other stores. Unfortunately, they did not have what I was looking for so ultimately did not order any tile through them.

Excellent customer service, follow up and pricing. Returning customer, shop around for choices and price but always come back to the North Bethesda branch. Jason, the manager knows the business and its a pro at customer satisfaction

I was somewhat hesitant after reading a few Angie's List reviews from members who were ignored in the design centers. However, I decided to visit the Chantilly design center on a Saturday, without an appointment, to see their selection and get ideas. There were lots of others there that day and we far out numbered the reps. I was left alone to browse their many displays but once the and quot;crowdand quot; thinned, I was approached by more than one sales rep offering assistance. A rep answered my questions and assisted me with checking out samples. Once I made a decision, the contractor encountered no issues placing the order and picking up the tiles. The showroom is huge with lots of displays and samples so if you are merely looking for ideas, I would encourage you to go to a showroom even without an appointment. However, if you have something in mind and will need design assistance, definitely make an appointment.

They were very helpful to allow us to take tile samples home. They were help ful with exposing us to different floor tile patterns and backsplash patterns.

We were recommended Mosaic Tile by our contractors for our bathroom remodel. We initially came on the weekend and were told to look around and get some ideas for what we might like to do in our bathroom. We walked around and got some general ideas of what we would like and were told to take a seat while we waited on someone to come and help us. They were fairly busy, and we had come without an appointment, but we were consistently told it would only be another 5 minutes. Every time the front desk clerk would go to start talking with us, she would be interrupted by an employee or phone call and stop mid-sentence to deal with whatever had popped up. It was only when we went to leave after waiting 20 minutes that she paid us attention more fully. We were told to make an appointment and that it would be much easier to help us in the future if we had an appointment. We decided to give Mosaic Tile another shot, figuring the interruptions and busyness were just the result of the weekend. When I called to make an appointment, the woman I spoke on the phone with kept getting interrupted and speaking with people in the store and not giving me her full attention. It took a long time to make the appointment, and I felt her lack of attention and the interruptions were very rude. We made an appointment and met with our design specialist, Laura. We had a very specific budget that we needed to stay within since it was being paid for by insurance. We told our design specialist what our budget was and she then proceeded to pull a bunch of designs for us. Within about 10 minutes we had selected some beautiful tile and had the design all figured out. We told her that we loved all the tile and asked to get a price quote for everything, assuming she would not have pulled anything that was over our budget since we had been very upfront about what we could spend from the beginning of the appointment. When she told us the prices, all of the tile she had selected for us was out of our budget. We had approximately $4.00 per square foot to spend, and she had selected tile that was approximately $6.50 per square foot. We then asked again to see tile only that fit in our budget, and everything she pulled was clearly of a lesser quality than the first tile she had pulled for us. I felt like she had conducted a bait and switch - show us the nicer tile first, ignoring our budget, so that we would not like any of the cheaper options. I was very upset with the unprofessionalism by both the clerks at the front desk, but particularly with our design specialist. We told her upfront what our budget was, and she ignored this, showing us nicer selections that were outside of our budget in order to get us to spend more money. We were very explicit with our budget and what we wanted to spend, and the cheaper tile they finally showed us in no way measured up to the nicer selections we had already seen. We eventually wound up going to home depot and selecting the tile our self. I would not under any circumstances recommend Mosaic Tile to anyone. They do not listen to the customer and are not professional. They are not interested in working with you and are only trying to turn a profit. I felt they purposefully ignored my budget constraints to make us spend more money. Their unprofessionalism was very disappointing in both the initial appointment setup and the meeting with our design consultant.

They were wonderful, and very nice to work with. Alan Herriott was particularly helpful and informative. The tile was absolutely beautiful.

Inspiring showroom, and everyone on staff was helpful and creative, patient and very attentive to needs and preferences. Provided designs for tile installation, made suggestions about colors and finishes, and explored alternatives when necessary to bring it all together. Effectively coordinated between us and our remodeler. Highly recommended!

I went to Mosiac Tile on a Saturday morning to look for ceramic tile for the backsplash in my kitchen. Lisa was the sales associate that helped me in the Lorton Showroom. She helped me pick out tile for my kitchen and even let me take home some samples. It could not have been any easier finding the correct tile. Lisa was even able to help me find a contractor to do the tile work. I highly recommend, Mosiac Tile, at the Lorton location and will use them again.

We are having a major kitchen remodel done and our contractor recommended Mosaic Tile for our flooring and backsplash needs. My husband and I went to the showroom in Merrifield (Hilltop Road location) a total of three times and each time we left there not only feeling neglected, but like we were actually bothering them. They did not greet us, they seemed annoyed when we asked even easy-to-answer questions, and when we finally did get someone to help us with the actual tile choices they acted like what we were asking them was too hard (using different sized and colored tiles to create a pattern). AND if that weren't enough, five minutes into and quot;helpingand quot; us (although helping is perhaps too nice a term for them telling us that we wanted was too difficult for them), another employee interrupted us and we had to start the whole process over with someone else who was disengaged from the first moments we started interacting with her. If the unprofessionalism had been a one-time occurrence, we could have chalked it up to it being a bad day, but after three times (two of the times during weekday hours) we assume that they are not interested in our business anymore and we are now shopping elsewhere.

Overall both the sales and purchase reps of Mosaic Tile Company were very helpful in their suggestions and provided outstanding service.

I went to Mosaic several times, including two where I took tile samples home with me. They were great about ordering samples for those pieces where they had none. I was a little miffed that I could not return a box of unused tile because their minimum return was two boxes. That aside, they were great to work with and spent lots of time with me. Make an appointment so you get their undivided attention!

We went to the showroom and looked at the tile selection and made some selections, but felt we needed a little help with picking the final pieces and to know if this would fit in our budget. We liked the selection of tile and didn't see any reason we should go elsewhere from the couple of questions that were answered for us when we were looking. During the follow-up meeting, I provided our project specifications based on the architecture drawings, and we reviewed the initial tile selections. One of the tiles that we selected was a hand dyed tile, which we were informed of, and that they will need to make sure that they pull all our tile from the same dye lots and that this would be noted in our order. Then I had to wait for the final estimates to be sent to me, and I never received a drawing with the layout of the tile as promised. After the tiling started, we discovered that the multiple size hand dyed tiles were not from the same dye lot. We had our general contractor reach out to their contact at Mosaic tile, and they were told that matching dye lots are never available across different tile sizes. Eventually we had to have a representative come out and see the tile in place and the different size tiles that didn't match to get them to understand the issue. Then they offered an option of using a schulter strip trim instead of the bullnose tile which resolved part of the issues. We are using high quality chromed brass fixtures and the schulter strip would be installed within 2 inches of a faucet, the strip that they were recommending was not available in chromed brass, but only in chrome finished aluminum. We had to explain that these are not equivalent finishes and were not acceptable. At that point, we didn't hear anything else from the Mosaic Tile representative, and had to find alternative solutions for our use of bullnose and 4x4 tile for the shower floor.

I was sent to Mosaic tile by my contractor to make a selection for a bathroom remodel. I worked with Crina to make the selection. She was wonderful and was able to answer all my questions, help with the selection based on my criteria and color scheme and helped make all the selections in their system so that my contractor was able to place the order and pickup the tile. Overall the experience was great and we will use this company again in the future.

Mosiac Tile is fairly well known in our area. So when we needed tile for two bathrooms, we went to look at their showroom. It was better than many other places we'd looked at. We'd been to other flooring companies, but Mosiac Tile was better organized and nicely laid out. It was easy to see the choices available and in many cases they had complete displays. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We purchased our tile from them and have been very happy with the entire experience.

Great experience all around - excellent selection of tile, very experienced sales staff and very professional. We worked with Mike Lowden who really took great care of me and helped design some great tile solutions for our house.

We went in on a Saturday with no appointment. The people there were nice and asked if we needed help, and we were then left to browse until we had questions. Once we did, the person who helped us was knowledgeable and had no trouble setting up the PO to be ordered at a later date by the company we hired to actually install the tile. No pressure and very helpful. Overall, I'd give them an A+. One side note: this review is for their location in Chantilly, VA. The building is a long one in an industrial park with garage doors on one side and regular doors on the other. The building isn't marked well, but there is a small sign with the suite # in front of a door with their logo on it. So be aware if you're driving to their store/showroom. We had to circle the building twice to find the door! Haha. That's my fault, not theirs though, so don't hold it against them.

I was searching for right tiles to go with my modern kitchen and found them at Mosaic. Very nice selection!

The salesperson looked at samples of our countertop, cabinet doors and door handles, background tiles, paint, etc. and immediately went and selected perfect decorative tiles to set off our look. They were very elegant and really tied together everything else. I could have searched for a month and not found something so ideal! She also had some very clever ideas on how to place them and use them in our decorating scheme. Our full kitchen renovation is now complete and one of the things we get the most compliments on in these decorative tiles. All in all, a very good experience. I would definitely turn to Mosaic again, even though they're a little expensive.

We had gone to a few tile stores prior to Mosaic. The other tile stores acted as if they were doing us a favor helping us. One store even stopped talking to us because our 30 minutes were up! We found Jason at Mosaic Tile. We found that he actually cared about our needs. He took the time to help find the tiles that would work for us. We never felt rushed. It was definitely a positive experience. We will definitely use Mosaic again along with working with Dennis.

They have nice tile. The tile that I bought was perfect. They have a very nice show room with many, many tiles on the floor. The staff was very, very helpful. The overall experience was excellent. I would use this company again.

Lisa Ladson was great! She worked with me to design a wonderful master bath--flooring, shower--and a beautiful backsplash for my new kitchen. I would definitely use her again. She spent hours with me and was always very patient and very helpful. I highly recommend Mosaic Tile in Chantilly, VA and Lisa.
