Description of Work: Winterization of my irrigation system, which involves attaching a compressor and blowing the water out of the underground pipes of each zone.

Description of Work: I just wanted to leave a short report because there were no recent reports for this vendor recently. I contacted them using the Angie List contact feature. They called back the next day. I was looking for two services. 1. Winterizing my existing sprinkler system and 2. Quoting on an extension to my existing system to cover rear yard. These folks quoted a very reasonable price for winterizing my existing system. Of course price depends on size and makeup of system. Moreover they said they would "work me in" their heavy fall schedule. All sprinkler folks are going to be very busy winterizing systems as we begin to see freezing temperatures at night. They offered to come out in less than a week. Several others I contacted said they were not available this Fall. I am also going to have them quote the system extension. I'll post info on how that went later. At the very least, it is nice having someone who was as responsive as these folks were thus far. Turns out: I will not need the winterization service. Someone did it for free for me. I look forward to seeing how much they will charge for the extension and the details of how they will do the job[scheduling,warranty,disruption of turf,adjustments etc.]. I don't know if there is time to install and test the addition this Fall. That may have to wait until Spring. Several of the companies I contacted using the Angie's List feature did not respond. Enough did so I can get several competing quotes for the addition to my existing system. That Angie's List feature isvery helpful to me. I would prefer if all folks listed included their email addresses somewhere in the write ups. Using email is much better than telephone tag. I would be surprised if companies don't have email.
