Description of Work: We had purchased the Landscaping Design Deal back in February. The designer, Pepe, was responsive and punctual even when we had to reschedule a few times due to the poor weather this winter. He gave us great suggestions on what to do with the areas we considered. | |After a few consultations with other landscaping companies, we did follow up and have Meadows complete the landscaping. Since we had a few other ideas of what we might want, Pepe was able to come back again, go over a our new ideas, change the plan to our liking and move the project forward. | |The installation crew did a great job. I did have a few adjustments the day of as to the placement of a few of the plants and they had no problem accommodating my requests. | |Overall we were very pleased and would use them again.

Description of Work: Meadows Farms came out to create a landscape plan for our new home. They gave great advice and some good plans. We ultimately did not decide to use Meadows to complete the landscaping due to the price, but they completed the initial drawings on time and to our satisfaction.

Description of Work: I had John Long one of Meadow's landscape designers come to our home to draw us up a plan for the front of our house. He is very precise with his drawings and did wonderful job. After the plan was drawn up he sat down with me and discussed his plant selection. This is our second home that John has drawn up a plan for, I would highly recommend him.

Description of Work: Landscaped 1900 square feet of front and side yard. The planting was done in mid-December over my concerns and objections - I was assured by both the landscape designer and the planting crew chief that the plants would all fare well and that winter was the best time to plant. The plants did not fare well, little blooming, a lot of dead material and plants I was told would require no spraying (knockout roses) I am now being told must be treated each year. The many encore azaleas that did not bloom, have very little green foliage and even fewer blooms, they are telling me have been eaten by deer although in the 16 years I have lived in my home I have never had a deer problem. My home stands at the front end of 3 acres that is not wooded - nor are the houses surrounding us. The few trees I have are on the very back of the lot where I have my vegetable garden and guess what - the deer don't eat the yummy greens planted within their easy and safe reach. The azaleas looked bad when planted but again I was told they would be fine by spring. The company also does not supply care instructions for anything they plant. My husband and are I are not wealthy people so this was a significant outlay for us. We placed our trust in Meadow Farms, partially based on reviews from Angie's, and we feel very strongly that we have been taken advantage of. The worst part is the disappointment...the beautiful garden I waited years to have will never be as I certainly cannot afford to have another company come in and correct the issues Meadow Farms has chosen not to acknowledge or remedy. If you are a novice at hiring and dealing with a landscaping company, this may not be the company you want to deal with.

Description of Work: Initial contact was fast, scheduling was performed for the designer consultation within days. during that time the Manager maintained contact to ensure that progress was being made. The Designer was fantastic, she took into account the current plan things, listened to our criteria and came up with a great design. The installation crew was great and followed the design exactly. total continuity from initial contact through installation. All were prompt, on time and great to work with. Meadows Farms is highly recommended.

Description of Work: I am currently seething -- I took today off from work to be home when the company was to do my landscape installation. Nobody showed up, so I called to see what was up. They told me they tried to call me several times yesterday but couldn't get through and couldn't leave a message. Bizarre, right? I was able to use my phone normally yesterday, so it's very strange that AT&T couldn't get their calls through. And the company also had my email address, so could have, but didn't, leave me a message that way. As a result, now I have wasted a precious vacation day. This company will have to do a bang up job if/when they eventually come out to overcome that.

Description of Work: Meadows Farms proposed a plan for improving water drainage in our back yard. The representative spent approximately 5 hours on-site over the course of two visits providing ideas and a drawing/plan on the one we liked the best. They were good in providing an option that would meet our needs at a reasonable cost rather than only over-the-top options. We will be having Meadows Farms implement the plan in the Spring when the weather improves.

Description of Work: Met with us and designed a landscape plan consisting of trees, plants, topsoil, mulch and sod to cover area of yard where we had pine trees removed.
