Description of Work: Meadows Farms Nursery in Dulles, VA performed a landscape blueprint for our front yard. We were extremely pleased with their service. Pepe Ayulo came to our house, walked the yard with us, was very pleasant and came up with a landscaping design and shortly afterwards with a drawing. We did not use Meadows Farms Nursery for installation, but are using their plan for our do-it-yourself projects which we have already begun. We would highly recommend working with Pepe!

Description of Work: removed very old azalea stumps. planted box woods, nandina,liriope, roses. added top soil and mulch while paying careful attention to drainage. excellent results.

Description of Work: I had the landscape designer help me determine how to refresh my small back yard. Although on the day of her visit the ground was covered in snow, she came prepared. We could see enough of the landscape to be clear on my needs. She spent plenty of time interviewing me & showing me examples, then followed up immediately with an email of her plan. I was pleased and the price of the work I was looking for was reasonable, so I did follow through with the proposal.

Description of Work: This service was for a landscape design. It went very well. Michael Gentile of Meadows Farms Nursery came to our home and evaluated what needed to be done. He made some great suggestions. A few days later he emailed us the landscape design plan for our backyard. It was wonderful and I was very happy with the design he came up with. We want to move forward with having him do the actual landscape work. I feel the cost is reasonable. Before we can proceed with the landscaping, we need to remove fallen dead trees and limbs and get rid of the ivy that has taken over a lot of our yard. Mr. Gentile was open and honest about how much Meadows Farm would have to charge for the removal of the trees and ivy. He gave us the name of a tree removal company that would be able to remove the dead trees at a better price than he could. He said that removing the ivy would be very costly. (We will probably do that by hand ourselves) I am looking forward to having Meadows Farms do the landscaping on our property.

Description of Work: They returned emails and calls only to say they were forwarding my requests to associates who would be returning emails and calls, who never did. I want my money back. This was a ridiculous waste.

Description of Work: Arrived on time and after listening to my preferences, drew up a to-scale landscaping plan that included an attractive way of dealing with some very sloped areas of my yard and incorporated some of my comments in the plan.

Description of Work: Had my entire front yard redesigned and landscaped, they put in a reataining wall in the entire front yard and pavers. They placed pavers around two trees and landscape with flowers the entire yard. Not sure on the extact date since this took a good couple of weeks. Once done had railing installed and landscape lighting.
