Meadows Farms Landscaping

Description of Work: Provided landscape design. We walked thru the yard to discuss my issues with grass and general landscaping. After the walk thru, the landscape designer went to work quick sketching my yard. Lots of great suggestions to improve the curb appeal of my home.

Description of Work: John and crew installed stacked stone wall and plantings. They did a great job. It will look wonderful. When the plants and spring gets here!

Description of Work: I purchased a Groupon to have a landscape evaluation done on our yard. We had purchased from Meadow's Farms in the past and found it to be a really good business so we signed up. Rick Meadows came out and listened to what we wanted to do with our yard, then went to work drawing up plans. He went over each aspect of the plan and made sure it was what we wanted. We liked the plan and the price so we signed up to have the work done to our front yard. The recent snows put a little delay on the job but once it cleared up they were scheduled, came out with a great crew, and knocked out the job in 1 afternoon! The work was methodical and professional. The foreman kept us updated with what was going on and the entire crew was terrific. We took care of the crew by getting them some pizza and soda's/plenty of water. I mention this because I believe it is the right thing to do. These crews work really hard at making our visions come true for our yards. The least I could do was get some pizza and make sure they had plenty of water and soda. | |Anyway, we are very happy with the finished product. Our front yard looks new again and we would definitely recommend AND use Meadows Farms again in the future!

Description of Work: Meadow Farms ad said they dealt with drainage and run-off. I wanted to know how to stop or slow the water from my hill-top yard, from flooding my neighbors front yard. Meadow Farms agent studied the terrain, and told me several options. But he said ultimately "water flows down hill", and nothing would stop that. He mentioned fixes from $1,500 to $15,000. He said I could slow it down with a rain garden, or divert the water with a wall or other detour, but it would still go down the hill and into neighbor's yard.

Description of Work: The Meadows Farm landscape professional came out to talk with us, view our property, and develop a landscaping plan. He did an excellent job and we have decided to purchase Meadows Farm services to refurbish the beds in front of our home. We felt that the price was quite reasonable and we received a discount on the services as Angie's List members.

Description of Work: I was given a quote for a complete landscaping of the area in front of my Town House. Unfortunately, it will cost much more than I anticipated or can afford right now. The consultant, Barry Perlow was very professional and gave us a great plan.

Description of Work: Consultation for our front yard landscaping project. We loved the drawing so much we went ahead and booked for the spring planting. They had great ideas, were cognizant of cost, and really worked with you on what kind of plants, colors and ideas you want for your space. I can't wait for March when they do the planting.

Description of Work: They looked at the site grading plan for the house, our preferences for the colors and provided a wonderful plan for trees and shrubs. Great job getting it right on the first time.

Delivered detailed, to scale, drawings of proposal for planting on three portions of our lot and customized plantings for sun, soil conditions and deer resistance. We are contracting with Tim Pecklow and Meadow Farms to have plantings installed.
