Meadows Farms Landscaping

It was ok. I mean they gave me a design, and I'm still thinking about following through on what they offer. They did it quickly. About a week after purchase. The concern is that a lot of the designs, and they kind of want to do the service, than trying to pressure me to do the service. No.

Estimator arrived on time, spent about 45 minutes finding out what I wanted, measuring the yard, and inventorying vegetation. He sent me a detailed drawing and a contract a couple of days later. These showed what he proposed to plant where and what the cost would be. He told me approximately when the work could be done (when the weather warmed) and promised to telephone me with a definite day and time. The company did that. The four-man work crew showed up as scheduled, removed the old overgrown plantings, installed the new ones according to plan, mulched, watered, cleaned up and departed after some five hours of honest work. I'm pleased with the results so far. We'll have to wait to see how the plantings do.

Jake from Meadows Farms was early for his appointment and looked our yard over before the appointment time. He walked with us and gave us some advice on other parts of our yard even though we were interested mostly in the front yard. He left us for about 45 minutes while he measured and came up with a plan. He presented the plan to us and showed us what the plants would look like. We were surprised when he gave us a price because it was half of what we thought it might be. We're waiting on spring to come and will be on the top of the list when Meadows Farms starts planting. We couldn't be more happy so far and are excitedly waiting for spring.

It went well. I gave an N/A for quality because we haven't bought any plants yet. The quality of her drawing was A.

It was nice. They came a couple of weeks later. They were quite nice. My interaction with them was nice. Price was quite reasonable. I would consider them.

It went excellent. I had no problems when I called about the plants dying. They were delayed at first due to rain, but they gave me a 2 week heads up and they showed up on the day they said they would. Over all I was very satisfied with the work.

The team arrived a little outside the scheduled time, but the work they did was fantastic. The main yard was aerated with their new machine, and the smaller areas were aerated with their traditional machine. I'm extremely pleased and have recommended Meadows Farms to several neighbors who have stopped to admire how well our fall lawn overseeding is flourishing after Meadows Farms aerated and we top dressed our grass seed with starter fertilizer and topsoil and compost mix.

Design - Very good design; however didn't incorporate customer plant preferences; poor recommendation of plants according to water and light conditions; totally ignored abnormal water conditions that killed atleast 50% of plants Build - overlayed design onto the yard very well; however no attention to detail like properly levelling and edging the bed; rushed execution that lead to calling them twice to fix the problems; inadequate amount of material like top soil Customer Service - Just simply horrible; had several issues but only fixed some dead plants after calling for six months; wasted time and money; won't fix broken landscaping light that they broke that is after I paid for four sprinkler heads that they broke! Business values - Business over customer satisfaction; don't stand behind their work; protect themselves and not the customer Overall - Select Meadows Farms for design; pay them $50 for design connsultation; and run as far and fast as you can...

This was fine and they were good. Just do overall landscaping, remove some old plants and plants some new ones. He was professional, and he walked us around and explained everything.

We started on the process of getting a design and everything done and the guy came and did the design but in the end the price was a little higher than I plan it'd be once it was complete. I actually reached out to him a second time because I had determined that there was another avenue they were taking and after that I think he called me back once and he never called me back again. We were corresponding through emails and he stopped corresponding through emails as well. The price that was quoted was out of my pocket. I've had other people come and give me estimates for the landscape in the backyard. I've had people come over and talk to me about it, shake their head okay. I've had other people who actually did a rough hand drawing and come back and send their computerized lay-out of the backyard and what it will look like. Based on those different experiences, he wasn't the worst experience I've ever had but he wasn't the best either.The guy was very nice, very easy going, very kind individual so that was a positive. From the customer's point-of-view, everybody I've had gave me an estimate based on what I think or what they do, every one of them has been way out of my price range as far as I am concerned. He wasn't different in that respect. He could've provide us with the computerized drawing of the idea that he had, something cleaner. The price for the evaluation was fine.

We scheduled a date, the crew came on time on a very hot day, August 2016. They were professional and focused. I am very pleased with the work they did. All the new plantings have survived and it is now October 2016. The sod they installed seems to still be thriving and growing well. The Supervisor was especially great and patient with my questions. At the end he reviewed everything they did and the care instructions for the plants. I followed his instructions, so far everything is growing. I would recommend Meadows Farms; I have referred them to several neighbors who came by my house to ask about the work done. I would suggest you plan to be home during the project so you can see and ask questions but they did excellent job at my home.

John the foreman was great & informer me of what the crew was going to do & updated me. The crew was also really nice & talkative in a good way.

Took our initial request & created a plain. Arrived on time, executed the plan very well. Plantings look great! Very good job.

Good response. No job is without on for even problems. Have been responsive in adjusting plans, accommodating schedule carrying due to better contractions, replacing plants that died, I repairing plans in driveway due to end Dion.

Great! The designer is fantastic, the foreman managed the changes & work well the team did a fabulous job. We're very satisfied!

Meadows Farms was on time, polite, excellent willing to take the time to clearly explain what they would be doing and answered all my questions.

The landscaping team arrived on the 24th on time but the Japanese maple, which needed to be planted first did not arrive. A call to Rocky, Meadows (the designer) remedied the oversight in a timely fashion & the tree, landscaping and new sod were installed wonderfully. The crew for the shrubs & remainder of work arrived on schedule on the 31st the panting crew did a lovely job with on issues and no delay. Apparently getting the existing hedge that stays is on a ground maintenance team, so that part remains unfinished for the moment.

Great communication and disillusion with foreman. Very professional and courteous. Knew what he was talking about. Workers were professional.
