There was hesitance to fix the irrigation system damaged by them even though I paid insurance to them for possible damage during work.

It's okay. They guarantee their plants. I wouldn't say they are the best but they guarantee them and a lot of them are doing very well. Charges depend on what you have done. They are pretty cheap. For quality of the plants, the people that come are great, the plants are a "B". They are pretty good. I would use them again.

They did a nice job. Price was fair. I'm never good at prices, I always think they're too much. There were a couple little things I didn't like, but nothing major, and it seems to be working, which is the important thing.

It was a great experience. The team was professional, thorough and enthusiastic. They knew that the tree was a gift, and, when they discovered it was in memory of my Mom (Rhoda), they thought it would be fitting to name the tree. "Rhodasia" is a beautiful reminder of my mother and she greets me every day when I get home. Much like my mother did for so many wonderful years.

Surprised by the fact that Meadows was my 3rd or 4th (no shows Apple Valley, Country Lane, Scotts)landscaping company I contacted and the only one to show up at appointment time and/or return my phone calls. They will get my service from now on as they were quick to get everything complete, ask me questions on what I needed and on the area of grass removal.

I heard nothing further until we neared the instalI date. Having made deposits amounting to 70% of the total cost, I sought confirmation that the work would begin as scheduled. I then was advised by phone that the installation would occur nearly a month later than originally indicated, and the scheduler told me that there was little chance of doing the job earlier. My subsequent email asking for an earlier date was not answered. I then left a VM saying I had decided to cancel the job, and asked that my deposits be fully refunded... I also emailed that same message to the designer. My cancellation request immediately gained attention, with offers to expedite the plantings, perhaps at a further discount. When I maintained my decision to cancel, I was told there would be a 10 percent cancellation fee. I cautioned that such a fee was unwarranted and that I hoped this wouldn't disintegrate into a nasty legal issue. I am very pleased that Meadows Farm did return the full deposit, and that is much to their credit. I doubt that I will use them in the future, however, because of their shortfalls in communication with me and an apparent lack of coordination internally. Others I am sure have been and will have completely favorable experiences, and I wish the company all the best.

We contacted them for a landscaping project. I found their approach to be very inflexible, more expensive, and less customer friendly than other competing businesses. First it was difficult to schedule an appointment. Then their quotes are not free, requires an upfront fee. I thought to myself that their quality and expertise may be good. Then came the quote itself which was rather expensive. Tried to talk through my specific requirements but it just did not seem to register with the expert. He had a single solution in his mind and was inflexible about it. Further inflexibility was shown when we started to talk about about other aspects of plants and shrubs besides what we had called him for. Needless to say, we did not proceed with meadows farms and I am pleased with the alternate option I went with.

They came and sodded, although they did not level out the back yard as there was a lot of mulch. They never called or came back to do the deck even after repeated calls and emails. Its been TWO months! Then I get an invoice just for the sod...so disappointed...

We didn't have it done - yet. John Sargeant was very nice and very amenable to work with. He's followed up a couple times, but we haven't had the work done, as we determined the money had to go to another project first.

The design specialist was extremely good. The team of workers were personable and hard working. All unused materials from the original wall was taken away. Some small things were left for me to take care of. I was disappointed that the landscape designer did not come by to see the work when finished.

I was extremely pleased from the planning stage with Amanda Caldwell to the installation stage with John Welti. The crew came in and installed the plants according to the plan Amanda had drawn up. It was an amazing transformation.

They installed the sidewalk first and came without enough bricks/pavers to complete. The person that came back changed the pattern when they installed the final bricks so they had to come a 3rd time to correct it. In correcting the pattern they changed another section that was already correct and then had to change it again! The patio was not level so they also came to re-do it and after "fixing" it the patio was less level than before causing them to do it a third time. The wall they built look like something we could have done - not professional and also had to be completely redone. The first team that came to the door to fix the wall asked me what they were supposed to do and didn't understand what I was telling them because no one spoke English. The Meadows Farm office then told them to leave and rescheduled for a 3rd time. On top of all of this they left a huge mess on our driveway. The tree they originally gave us was very small not the size promised and many of the plants were also very small. Comparing the cost/size of the plants that were installed with plants at their nursery we paid 3-4 times more instead of double as you would expect. The end result, after 6 visits, was ok but not worth the hassle or the money we spent.

The overall delivery of the planting and hardscape was good. A couple plants were obviously dead when planted so I had to call them to come back out to replant - which they did. I would have preferred they just didn't make it my problem in the first place. They also put in lighting and one of the lights still doesn't work. I already had one manager come out to check the lights and since I was not home (on a day he decided to show up that was not what we agreed to) - he was unable to confirm it doesn't work. Still haven't heard back from him. The overall project wasn't handled very seamlessly and customer service was very choppy. They do address issues when I have reached out to them, but it is a bit of a hassle. The only reason I would rehire them is that they guarantee their plants and frankly I am too lazy to find another landscaper.

Contract included a timed irrigation system for the first 30 days which was an important feature for me. Sod was installed but irrigation system has not been installed. Sod needs watering and because contract included irrigation system I had not yet purchased sprinklers. System promised next day but did not arrive. It is now hot so I came home and upon discovering system had not been delivered had to acquire sprinklers to water myself. After saying it would be delivered there was no communication from MF to tell me it had not been delivered or when it would be delivered. They have, however, billed my credit card for the balance including the irrigation system not yet provided. No one was available by the time I got home and discovered that the irrigation system had not been installed. I have no idea when it will be installed. MF does not provide warranty for sod so not providing irrigation system as contracted puts me in the position of risking loss of thousands invested or buying equipment to water and spending time to protect my investment that I already paid for by contracting for the irrigation system not delivered. Very unhappy with handling of this.

We contacted Meadows Farms for a landscaping project and they sent us Pepe Ayulo. He truly is an outstanding asset to Meadows Farms. He was very professional, courteous, and creative in his design recommendations. We will most certainly contact him for future landscape needs.

Meadows Farms was flexible with my schedule. The gentleman who came out was professional and knowledgeable, and spent some time discussing with me the types of plants I had and those that might make upkeep a little easier. The result was a basic landscaping plan for my front yard that I can either implement myself as time and money allows, or have them handle all or part of the work.

The design was an "A" but the execution was a "C". Unbelievably the installers did not show up with the landscape plan and plants did not all go where they were supposed to. Some plants did not fit and were withdrawn.

The appointment went very well. Kevin Ganley (the service provider) was prompt, pleasant and efficient. He discussed various shrubs and plants that would be appropriate for our project along with placement of the plants. We also discussed Hardscape/stone for the plant/flower bed. Overall we were pleased and expect to complete the project with Meadows Farms Landscaping. I will follow up when the project is completed.

He was quick to schedule and was prompt. He had decent landscaping ideas, but his work product was unsatisfying. It was a mostly illegible handwritten sketch that he didn't clarify when I asked. He also included a tree I said I didn't want. Overall his sketch didn't take into account what my preferences were as I tried to articulate them.

See above. Since the cost wasn't substantial, I pretty much gave up on this deal as it wasn't going anywhere. I don't think this is a good way for them to conduct business, though.

It went great. The guy that came out, I forgot his name of the top of my head, I have his business card he gave to me. He called me and reached out to me and we set a mutually acceptable time to meet. He came to my home. I showed him around my property and gave him an idea of what I was looking at. He sketched a drawing and measured it out on his laptop, kind of explained it and what he would recommend, and gave me a proposal and estimate.
