Excellent crew, yard look beautiful.

The estimate went well. The person they sent was personable and gave us an excellent price. They were able to schedule us earlier than other services. We had a few phone calls for scheduling. They came on time and were able to complete the work in half the time they estimated. The yard looks great.

Planters are unmotivated . The designers are salesmen and " leave" once they get their money.

The week went very well and the work was completed in a timely manner. The men worked efficiently and professionally. I was so pleased I hired Meadow Farm to design and plant my front yard areas. That was a big mistake because the Hardscape department is separate from the landscape and far outshines the inept Planting department.

Everything was quick and easy from start to finish.

Mike showed up on time and was very friendly. I talked to him about the problems and he quickly drew a design and discussed different ways I could work it. He freely answered my questions and made suggestions. At no time did he try to pressure me into making a decision or much less into a contract. He even made suggestions on how I could do the project a little at a time and broke out financial costs. As soon as the finances allow I will definitely call Meadow Farms to work with them. I was very pleased with Mike and Meadow Farms.

I called the number listed on the Angie's List deal as well as others I found for the same location and left numerous voice mail messages. No response. I gave up after a while. I consider it a $29 lesson to not use Meadows Farms. This happened (or, more precisely, didn't happen) well more than a year ago. I would not have even bothered to post this review except the web page prompted me when I logged in. Meadows Farms is a large operation and I'm sure they're doing fine without having to waste effort for a $29 discount deal.

They arrived early and completed the work in 1 1/2 hours. They verified the location of the plants prior to installing them as well.

The landscape design was a prompt, smooth process. After deciding to move forward, the company called a week later to schedule the installation. It was quick & smooth.

John Welti, the lead tech, showed up before time. Explained entire job with me. Gave instruction to workers and jumped right in pulling weeds.

2nd crew was on time foreman explained in detail what his intended action was to correct problem. Work was performed as discussed in timely manner crew was courteous and cleaned area after work was done Thank you.

Great experience. Professional crew, timely, went the extra mile, cleaned up well.

The crew came early - worked very competently, asked questions to ensure the project will be to our liking. Excellent workers. Clean-up was very good.

Designer was very responsive to our needs. Adjusted as required. Followed up after installation, very easy to work with

The service was provided based on a renewal of last year's contract. No notification was given that they were coming, and we got home and found that the service was done and a bill was in the mailbox. Indeed the contract from last year said that it would be automatically renewed, but it said so in the tiniest print at the bottom of the page. If they had called we would have told them that we didn't want the service at all. Since I did not receive notification of the service they did not charge me for it. I appreciate the fact that they did that.

This was our second landscaping project using Glenn Louis as architect. The first job was done 10 years ago for our SF home and that turned out beautiful. We downsized to a Reston Townhouse and did not feel the need to get an estimate from another garden center/landscaper...we stayed with Glenn and Meadows Farm. The plan was well conceived, was sensitive to our desires, and installation went smoothly except for the dry stack wall. The foreman new what he was doing, but his two helpers miss cut and wasted a lot of stone and time; they rushed to finish because they had to get to another job. Their customer service dept. was very responsive, and a very skilled crew returned and redid the sections that were not correct.. Overall, very pleased and will use again.

9/16/15 After reading the above review, I was contacted by Meadows Farms and a new boulder was delivered today. I finally have the big rock that I wanted. Thank you! :-)

Met with designer for space choices. Planting done as scheduled. Very helpful and professional.

The crew arrived on time and prepared. The foreman, John, ensured that he consulted with me about tree placement. Good sense of humor too. Our designer didn't show up until later in the day, (he said he didn't know the installation was today) but it didn't cause any delays or problems.

They gave us a plan. We okayed the plan and then it was carried out. Very well. Workers were friendly, hard working and reliable. We needed some changes, Meadow Farms were vry accommodating.

Went well: The landscaper was on-time and reviewed the site and provided good feedback on existing plants/shrubs, and upkeep. However, would likely not buy again because for the cost of the service proposed (multiple thousands of dollars), this should be a free consultation to potential customers. The drawing was easy to understand and had clean recommendations which I did wind up using to do myself at a significant cost reduction ($400 total + my own time).

The landscape person I contracted with failed to return my calls to schedule the work. I later learned the person had left the company. By the time the work was scheduled it was so late in the season some of the pruning could not be performed. After complaining to management, my contract was re-done to eliminate/delay some of the planned work. The landscape crew that arrived was inexperienced. The clean-up and mulching were fine but one of the bushes I paid to move was dug up without a root ball and the person doing the work claimed that was standard procedure. Needless to say, my beautiful bush died. The edging was so deep it caused the lawn mower to drop below the surface of the grass. I had the team out again to finish the pruning because they missed the back of the house. Then, I cancelled the rest of the contract.
