Description of Work: Mannix Heating and Cooling replaced my forced air furnance and air conditioner with a heat pump. They answered my initial phone call (unlike other providers who never returned my calls) and were able to set up a free estimate the next evening. They provided a competitive estimate and I did not feel pressured to purchase a more expensive unit than I was comfortable with. I was even encouraged to purchase my own thermostat (I wanted a Nest and I was told that I could get the best price purchasing online) and to install it myself to save myself the installation fee. They hooked up the system to the thermostat and tested everything. | |The only issue I had was the drain line was not aligned over the elevated drain line in my floor (so any water draining would have ended up on the floor). Fortunately, I looked back behind the system before they left and pointed out. The installer moved it into place.

Description of Work: The blower fan and motor in our AC unit was busted. We called them on Wed morning and they gave us a same-day appointment. Wonderful, courteous service on the phone. The technician, Mr. Ron, was very punctual, professional and knowledgeable. He ordered the parts for us right from our home and returned the next day to complete the job. We are very happy with the service and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Mannix replaced our HVAC. Our AC had failed, and we asked that they quote the price for replacing that, and for replacing the furnace as well, since both AC and furnace were >20 years old. They gave very good prices. We obtained 4 bids from installers of the 4 top rated systems in Consumer Reports. We decided replacing the whole system was the best value - and their quote was more than $500 less than the next lowest. The new system looks much more professionally installed than the system it replaced! It's been operating for one year now and works great.
