Can't stress enough how AWESOME Mannix is as a company. It's a weird thing to love your HVAC people of all the people you run into during homeownership, but it's so true. They are perfect, 100% A+, 5 star every time! They never upsell, always tell the truth about what you need and could or should do, price competitively and fairly, are extremely technically capable (all the technicians know what is going on and do their best).

I was impressed by the pricing and service. I had a lot of quotes for the exact unit and Mannix beat everybody hands down.

Came within 2 hours and quickly corrected the problem.

They arrived early on the appointment day. Installation went smoothly, even though we have a very small attic entrance and they had to dis-assemble and re-assemble the unit. They completed they job on-time. Their installation team was very professional using shoe covers and drop cloths to keep our house clean. A couple weeks after installation we did have one problem with an electrical component. They were out here quickly to diagnose the issue but it took another day for them to get the part and make the repair. Then we noticed they had not actually installed a lever to an air duct and they came right over to make that repair. Finally, we needed more freon to be added to our attic unit and they promptly came over and made the addition. For this reason I did give them a B on quality as I would think at least 2 of the issues should. not have occurred. Unsure if the electrical component was a faulty part or a mis-wire on installation. Regardless they do get an A on their responsiveness as they came right over and made the repairs.

Selected Mannix based on system quoted, reviews, and price. Pricing was very good compared to other firms and was impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail by Patrick. System was a total replacement excluding duct work. Technicians were very professional, used shoe covers, drop cloths, and were very good about cleaning up afterwards. System has worked very well with no issues.

It went fantastic. The rep walked me through the best options, and sized the unit accordingly. They were professional, courteous and did a seamless installation, and on time. A little more then I really wanted to spend, but I'm very happy with the overall service and my spouse is much, much happier, which is of course, priceless.

Patrick's response time was immediate. He was excellent in walking me through the options, process, and handling the contract quickly once I made a decision. Matt and Marcellino came out the next day and did great installation work. They were professional, timely, courteous and conscientious of details. Great work and customer service!

We have been impressed with Mannix services from the beginning. Jerry Mannix is an honest and ethical businessman, and we trust his company completely. We have had outstanding service from his service providers, and we have been especially pleased that they back their work 100 percent. We feel "safe" with such a good heating and cooling service provider that we can count on. Their admin is efficient, too, and the office staff who answer the phones respond promptly.

Couldn't ask for better service and knowledgeable service staff.

I haven't used them in a couple of years. They are excellent. There were no problems with the services or the workers.

We had the furnace, AC, and water heater replaced with a new energy efficient system (Carrier Infinity) . Hal Drake was excellent, he gave advice and explained the options. They gave better price than the competitor. We received rebates from Washington gas for the new system. Mannix worked with our schedule, arrived in time, cleaned up afterwards. It has been 6 months and the AC, the furnace and the water heater are working without any issues. All went very well!

The representative who provided the estimate and the technicians were all punctual, professional, gave thorough explanations regarding the work to be done, answered all of our questions and cleaned up at the end. It was a very good experience and we would definitely recommend their services and use them again.

Went well was pleased with how thorough it was

This review has been needed and neglected by me for some time. I had a new heat pump and air handler installed in 2015 to replace an outdated system with only an old electric heat and an A/C unit. I live in a townhouse that only has access to electric so a heat pump was the best option. I purchased this house in October 2014 knowing that the 20+ year old A/C unit and the 2014 air handler were not matched optimally and that I could have problems. The winter months were very expensive using only electric heat at over $300 per month and the air conditioner did not work in the summer of 2015. I had been getting bids from vendors (4 in total) throughout the winter of 2014 and just never felt comfortable with all of the different opinions on what was needed in my home. I did my own research and felt that Carrier was the best option for me and found Mannix as an authorized vendor. Patrick came to my house to give me options/pricing and I felt from the beginning that he provided the best sales experience, knowledge of equipment, and confidence in the installation team. The installation crew was professional, competent, conscientious, neat, and friendly. They even noticed that the lower level bathroom vent was not connected properly and fixed it. I received financing through Wells Fargo to pay the purchase off over 3 years with zero percent interest. Wells Fargo financing has the ability to set up automatic payments every month so I don't need to worry about missing a payment. I received a rebate from Dominion VA power that Patrick initiated the paperwork for on my behalf that I just needed to complete and mail to Dominion VA Power. My electric bills have decreased substantially during the winter months and range from $90-$150 per month depending on the outside temperature. Today, I called Mannix to get the optimal settings for my COR thermostat due to some alerts that I was receiving. Patrick was the person who responded within the hour and helped me optimize the settings as well as explaining the cause/effect of changing the temperature manually more than a couple of degrees. I use the maintenance program offered by Mannix for winter and fall tune-ups and am always pleased with the technicians and the scheduling. Brenda in the main office is always so helpful and pleasant. Overall, this is one of the best companies that I have had the privilege to find and hire for my HVAC needs. I just found out today that they do electrical too so I will be remembering this for the future. I think that the other reviews speak to the high level of service provided by Mannix, but I wanted to add my positive experience too.

On the day of the appointment the crew showed up on time. Once of the men heard my dog bark and refused to do the work. I told them that my dog was friendly once they came in and to call the sales rep who had spent an hour in my home. He confirmed that my dog was not dangerous. I showed them the separate entrance that they could go in and out of and showed them the door that closed off the room from the rest of the house. I thought that they were working until I noticed that their truck was gone. They had left without saying anything. I called the sales rep who apologized and rescheduled for the next day with a different crew. The 2nd crew was wonderful. They did great work, and cleaned up thoroughly.

Mannix made several mistakes in installing the system apparently due to untrained or incompetent workers. After the initial installation, they had to return twice to repair their mistakes and the system was still not installed to our satisfaction.

Prompt, professional and HONEST!! We have had other hv/ac companies out for various things in the past and just about each one recommended a new furnace. Keith came today and immediately discovered the simple problem and fixed it. Within 5 minutes our furnace was working again. We asked Keith many general questions about our heating system, and he took the extra time to go around the house and give his thoughts. Highly recommended!

We're very happy. We set up a service plan through them because they installed our unit. They have been great. We really like Mannix. We found them through Angie's List. They replaced and installed a new HVAC system for us and we have a quarterly upkeep with them. We've been happy. There was only one problem with the unit and it was because it wasn't defrosting properly. They were out here the next day and got it all straightened out for us. They're a great company. They left the area super clean.

We have dealt with them in the past, and again, their response was immediate; we bought a quality water heater for a great price. They installed our new water heater, took care of the old one, made sure everything was cleaned up and working, got our approval and left. The entire company is very professional, from the initial call to them calling us back promptly, giving us various options and we would definitely hire them again for any of our HVAC needs.

They were great. We were very happy with the service. They seemed pretty average on price, we got at least one other estimate and it was about the same. It was as expected and we had an issue that we had to follow up with. We called them back, they responded and they were great.
