Description of Work: I called them originally for a "check-up" on the furnace before the winter. During the inspection, he found an oil leak from our compressor that was also leaking freon. We had been having a smell in the house for OVER 3 years and another company, FH Furr had come to inspect and found NOTHING. He had to come back the next day to do the repair, but I was thrilled that he could come that soon. He was AWESOME!!! He went above and beyond the call of duty, doing some little extras, free of charge, I will call them again, definitely!!!!! GREAT WORK!!!!

Description of Work: Mannix replaced an HVAC unit in my condominium with a 2 ton package heat pump. Jerry personally completed the estimate. After estimates from 5 different HVAC companies, I decided to go with Mannix because of their service record, price, warranty, customer service, and professionalism, The two gentlemen arrived on 09/19/2011 to complete the work. They worked from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. They were meticulous, professional, and expert in completing the removal and installation of the HVAC unit. The work was very challenging because of the size and location of the unit. The gentlemen went above and beyond in delivering a superior installation service. I would highly recommend Mannix as a service provider. Their customer service and performance is second to none.

Description of Work: installed new compressor, new heat exchange, and humidifier. They completely lived up to all the hype that was written in the reviews. Sales consultant was very informative and he was not pushy, did not try to sell me *things* I did not need. I highly recommend them

Description of Work: The AC broke down in this heat wave. Called Fri morning and they told us someone would be there early Mon. However, they soon called back, said someone was in the area and had the problem quickly fixed. Good service, fair price.

Description of Work: Bill came in and diagnosed why my system was not producing adequate heat...it turned out be a rusted heater pack from the evaporator coil leaking onto it. He ordered the part and returned to install it....he then determined that was not the only issue and determined the previous company installed too much freon causing the unit to shut down when the unit overheated....it will be nice to be able to turn on the heat and not have to run it for twelve hours to raise the temperature in the house two degrees and raise my electricity bill.

Description of Work: Dan figured out quickly that I just needed freon, he re-charged my AC quickly and for a great price! I would definitely use Mannix again.

Description of Work: We had a new Carrier furnace and air conditioner installed. Both the salesman and installers were punctual, professional and friendly. Within a few hours of the installation, I realized that the air conditioner was not cooling properly. I called the company and they sent Dan out immediately. He determined that the fan motor was defective. None of the local Carrier distributors had a motor in stock. However,he was able to find a generic motor which he installed so that we would not have to go without cooling for even a day.The generic motor worked fine ,and when the replacement motor came from Carrier he came back and installed it. We are now 'cool as a cucumber". I could not have asked for better service in resolving the problem.
