In March I called Katchmark for repair of gutter installed several years ago. The representative came to look, snapped a few pictures to forward to me and said to work with a roofer to reduce the drip edge although this was not the problem. The representative never followed up with pictures or quote to fix gutter. The gutter continues to overflow and leak and I contacted the representative who advised he would look at my file and call me back. No return call was received. I contacted the representative again and he scheduled a second representative who came out and confirmed that the gutter installed by Katchmark several years prior was not large enough and had collapsed causing the overflow and that the downspout emptying into the second gutter was causing an additional overflow due to the angle. He advised me to call the first representative (his supervisor) the following day once he submitted his report. I called the first representative and was provided his cell number, which I called, the mailbox was full. I waited several hours and called again, the mailbox was still full. Waited a day and still full. I contacted Katchmark to speak with a different representative to move forward with the replacement/repair of the gutter and was informed that I was "impatient" by the new representative and since it was not warranty work it would take time to prepare a quote. I advised that to date I had only done what I was instructed to do and would like some assistance to understand how to move forward. I noted that I was disappointed with the service I had received and I was informed that I did not have to use Katchmark that there were other options. So even though they have installed my gutters and roof previously it appears that they no longer want my business. I'm disappointed with the time wasted not to mention the water damage. Katchmark charges a premium but their service is subpar. I rated slightly better than I should because I thought the second representative was helpful and he saw what the problem was immediately. Additionally, I was happy with the roofing work they had completed years before and have had no problems.

We had a very good experience. We would highly recommend them. They had a reasonable price and they are very, very professional and thorough. They were very good. They are an outstanding company.

They did a wonderful job. All materials were as promised and of high quality, and every person we dealt with during the course of the project, from estimate to job completion, was highly professional and polite. Kudos on a job well done!

Very well. Katchmark provided a competitive quote. We worked with Vinny who scheduled the work. Which had to be rescheduled several times due to inclement weather and personal issues. Vinny was very accommodating when he worked with us and explained the options for the materials clearly especially around the roof vents as we were confused on how they worked. The materials were delivered on time and care was taken when delivering. The whole roof was replaced in one day from 8am til 7pm. The foreman, William, was very helpful when we had questions and made sure the job was done professionally including clean up. The team were very careful to remove all nails and tacks from the job site when finished. I would recommend Katchmark to any of my friends who are looking for roof work. We would also not hesitate to approach about other renewal jobs on the house when the need arises.

Katchmark and their rep, David Hill, were excellent all the way around. Great communicators early in the process, helped me learn about roofs, conveyed quality vs. cost, good follow up. When the decision was made, we worked together again to make sure we had details correct, then they followed up with a secondary measurement to make sure the job would be done correctly. Their team was nice and did an excellent, highly professional job.

Katchmark did an outstanding job. We had estimates from three top-rated companies for repairing a roof leak where the cause was not obvious. Katchmark's proposed solution made more sense than the others. Believe it or not, we had three inches of rain the evening after they finished the repair - and the roof didn't leak. We've had several downpours since and there haven't been any leaks. As part of their repair they replaced the gutter and downspouts near the leak. They did a much better job than our old ones during our typical monsoonal downpours. As a result, we had Katchmark replace the gutters and downspouts on the whole house. Their people arrived on time, worked hard, and were very careful about protecting property and cleaning up. We definitely recommend Katchmark.

They replaced damaged plywood as well as the roof. We were very happy with the work and the roof.

The whole thing went great. Called to seek a quote on replacing my front gutter and downspout. Steven Jr came in within days and reviewed the whole situation all the options and he thoughts on some of the work and said he would send me a quote via email. Within a few days I had a quote to replace gutter, downspout and the fascia boards. Steven was well aware of my issues with the old gutters and the chance of rain over the next few weeks - so he did all he could to get me an appointment as soon as possible. On Sept 3rd, I got a call that they were done early with the current job and would come over about 2 hrs earlier than planned. And right on schedule two guys came to the house and immediately got to work. There was a little more rotted wood than we thought and they immediately did what they needed to do to fix it for no extra cost. Before the day was over they were done and you would never have known they were there - it was all cleaned up and the gutters and wood looked great. They were very professional, helpful and well skilled at their job. I've had 3 major rain storms since the new gutters were installed and was totally at peace knowing they were doing their job and I wouldn't have any further water in my home! When its time for the roof to be replaced I already know where I will go to have that done!

He had good price, excellent service and he came to fix small problems in a timely way. We were very pleased.

The company came out and removed the existing shingles, replaced damaged plywood underneath, and installed new shingles. Water shielding and felt paper were installed as well. This work was done in one day. The day this was done was a terribly windy day - the workers did their best to collect all the removed material in their truck. However, with the winds, which gusted somewhere in the 35 - 40 mph range, there was still a lot that was blown around the yard. So, despite the fact they did their best to collect the debris, I still occasionally find some bits around. Two days later the gutters were removed and replaced with new, larger gutters with leaf guards and downspouts. Another unfortunate thing happened with that. The fascia board behind the existing gutters was rotting due to the way our capping was installed when did our siding years ago, so it all needed replacement. I could have had them replace only pieces that were bad, but that was not a good option since they would have used only a small amount of "good" wood. I made the decision to replace it all when I saw what was there. The work was again done in one day. I was very happy with their work and I have recommended them to others. I would use them again if needed, but I surely hope that is not necessary!

Katchmark gave us an estimate that was reasonable compared to others. They came exactly when they said they would, finished the job as planned, and was responsive for some tweaks after the fact when we asked. They cleaned afterwards. Great overall service.

They were professional. All the prices were about the same. They were very friendly and cleaned things really well. They were here at 7 am every morning.

I was selling my home and learned during the buyers home inspection the the roof had hail damage. Due to the severe winter weather and needing the job completed quickly, I sought five quotes from local roofers to ensure I could get the job done quickly and at best price. The Katchmark quote was the second lowest but included all new materials, so they were chosen. The team tried twice to schedule the work but was hampered by snow and ice. In between storms inearly March, the team was able to complete the job on a 40 degree day. The team worked from 7A-7P with only a 1/2 hour break to complete the entire job, beating impending weather. Billing was prompt and accurate. After a month of continued winter weather, the roof functions as expected. Flexible, quality, reasonably priced roofer.

My husband and I recently bought a new home that was in desperate need of a new roof. Stephen,Jr. came out to our house, met with my husband and I, and provided the estimate to replace our existing 3-tab shingle roof with an lifetime/architectural shingle roof, cut a ridge vent, and replace the gutters and downspouts. Katchmark's proposal was the most competitive of the ones we recieved, and upon our acceptance of the proposal the ball started rolling very quickly. For the most part, workers arrived at my house on time and did the task(s) that they were there to do. Stephen oversaw the job on-site, coordinated with me, and completed my roof, and handled the few hiccups we had with no issues. At this point I would not hesitate to recommend Katchmark Construction or to use them again for other projects.

Everything went really well. I searched companies on Angie's list and got four proposals. We went with Katchmark construction. They negotiated the price but kept the scope of the project detailed and did not cut any corners. They replaced all plywood underneath the roof and used copper flashings. They also gave us a great warranty on work performed and also on the roof itself.

All work went well. I trust them for any roofing, siding and window jobs. There are not many contractors who do steel roofing. The seams are beautiful.

They were excellent. They were prompt and had reasonable pricing. They completed the job and cleaned up lickety split. I didn't have any problems. I was very happy with their prices and the quality of their work and their cleanup. They were prompt and showed up on time. I understand they have expanded into interior work but I've not used them for that.

Stephen Katchmark, Jr. came to my house and provided the estimate to replace my 25 year old roof with a new Certainteed Landmark dimensional shingle roof. Once I agreed to Katchmark Construction?s proposal, Stephen sent the roofers to my house on the agreed date, oversaw the job on-site, coordinated with me, and completed my roof on time and on cost with no surprises. At this point I would not hesitate to recommend Katchmark Construction or to use them again for other projects.

Vinny from Katchmark came out on Thursday 1/30/14, a little bit late, he walked around the whole house and took pictures and pointed out where the roof was put on incorrectly by the previous owner. Unfortunately we couldn't get inside the house as there are renters currently living there but I did show pictures of the rotted plywood from the inside of the attic. He didn't climb up on the roof or take any measurements, but gave me a verbal estimate of about $10000-13000. He said would send my written estimate by the weekend. It is now Monday 2/3/14 and I have no written estimate from Katchmark. |I also called Jim Baker LLC roofing company, who is located in the area, he came out on Friday 1/31/14 did a more thorough inspection(got the ladder out and actually got on the roof), gave me samples of the types of shingles I could choose from, got a written estimate for about $7000 sent to my email on Sunday 2/2/14 and gave me a phone call confirming that I got the email. | I don't mean to be hasty but if I have one company who can write up and send me a complete estimate in a day or two, and another company who said they would do the same but doesn't, it speaks to who wants my business more.

During the installation discovered an area of missing sheathing behind my siding. So they also repaired that area.

The service was outstanding. I would recommend them. They were timely and made sure clean up after the job was completed.

We moved into a new to us house about four months ago. After several days of hard rain, we discovered a leak in a closet. We had three roofers come out to provide estimates. One estimate basically suggested a new roof over a large area above the closet. Since the house is only 4 years old, we thought that was crazy. Another estimate wanted to peel back the shingles and patch the area as they didn't think they could pinpoint the cause until they got under shingles. Steve Katchmark, Jr immediately indicated that he thought we just needed to caulk the area where the garage roof meets the house. He showed detailed pictures of how the caulk looked dry and cracked. He inspected the rest of the roof/gutters and showed those pictures as well. At the same time, we learned from the builder (contacted them on advice from some neighbors with similar issues) that the cause was indeed this point not being caulked accurately originally. We moved forward with Katchmark. The crew showed up on time and was able to finish the work in a few hours. We are thrilled that Katchmark was experienced enough to know exactly what the issue was and they seemed to have executed the solution well. We haven't had any issues in the month since, even with the snow/ice and several rains. This side of our garage gets full sun and Steve (Jr) explained that we need to prepare to have this work done about every five years but the roof will last a long time. So glad we didn't just listen to the other companies who didn't seem to have enough experience to know the issue.

They did a terrific job. I love Katchmark and will not use another company for roofing, insulation, exterior. They care about their customers and their quality of work.I have used them ab out 5 years ago and they were great then.

These guys were wonderful. They worked and cleaned up and were very careful with the fiberglass. I use Katchmark for other services also.

They did a very good job, it was supposed to rain and they came early in the morning and put down a tarp so the roofing would not be damaged.
