Mike was very prompt in returning our call, preparing the proposal and scheduling work. Workers were prompt and courteous. Work was well done. One small issue was addressed and resolved promptly.

Mike is great - uber professional. I wanted a pristine job so I offered to pay more to make sure it was top quality on the pillars. i think his painters did a mediocre job. To Mike's credit though, he made them come back, clean the pillar lights where they had splashed paint and repaint the foundation to match the house. All all was said and done I still think Mike is a great guy but the work was just fair - I realize Mike can't be everywhere at once but if he had been there Ithink it could have saved him money and me time. I think the painters were in a hurry, didn't tape or remove stuff and the final job showed it.

We needed exterior trim painted, with minor carpentry repair. When we attempted to get an estimate, the earliest date they could schedule it was in 2 1/2 weeks. Since we already had two other Angie's List companies giving us estimates the same week we contacted them, I declined.

We began with an estimate from the owner, Mike Katounas. Mike was right on time for the estimate and was professional and personable and really listened to our needs and concerns. The written estimate was received within 48 hours and the work was scheduled to begin within two weeks. All emails that were sent to Mike were returned promptly by him. The crew was professional, courteous and efficient. With a team of 5, the entire interior of our home was painted in three days. Everything went smoothly, and at the end of each work day, everything was clean and funiture that had been moved was put back in its place. The quality of the painting work is excellent and the attention to detail is evident. I would most definitely use Home Works Painting again.

Their quote process was actually quite good. The quoted amount was $5000. They provided a detailed quote. I may not use them again in the future.

They did an excellent job. They were very meticulous about cleaning up and protecting the furniture, floors and carpets. They were very good at that. They were very thorough. We had painted the house when the old carpeting was down and when they took off the carpeting they noticed that a part of the base boards were still visible because of the height of the carpeting. They didn't have any problem and they came back and painted the whole thing over again. They were very responsive. If we felt anything had to be re-done or we didn't think was perfect, they came back and fixed it.

called Mike based on the reviews here at Angie's List and he came over as scheduled. Quick turnaround on the quote and started work on time.

They were able to finish everything ahead of schedule.

I spent about $2000. They painted the fence. They also did some work on the bay window. They did an excellent job. I didn’t find any fault with them. I will have to reconsider using them in the future only because of their price.

In general, we are pleased with the work conducted. We paid exactly what we expected and feel that we got our money's worth. We would recommend Mike and his crew for painting and general projects around the house. We are very happy with the painting and replacement of closet doors. His crew even installed our microwave with a vent to the outside. All of these things went well and we are very pleased with the results. The only negative aspect of the experience is with the small details of the project. Near the end of the project, Mike assigned a couple of workers to handle the small touches; hanging curtain rods, mirrors, etc. Unfortunately, these workers lacked the skills and/or tools to properly do these small jobs. They hung the curtain rods crooked and the mirrors too low, but to his credit, during a final walkthrough, Mike took note of these issues and corrected them, well almost. His workers failed to screw the curtain rod supports to the wooden studs and just screwed them into the drywall. I am having to go back and redo that job. All-in-all, we are happy with the job and considering the amount we paid consider it a bargain and will recommend him to our friends.

The process was entirely painless and carried out with the greatest professionalism. Mike came out to give us an estimate about 2 days after my first contact. He spent time discussing the job in detail. A very competitive estimate was delivered within 24 hours. The Project Manager was Jamie and he and his crew were excellent. They were professional and courteous. Took great pains to be sure that everything was covered. When the job was done, we did a walk through and all issues were resolved at that time. The sheetrock repairs were invisible. Job well done! We'll use Home Works Painting again.

It went great! The workers were polite and was done in the estimated time. During the walk through, Mike listened and took care of all of our concerns. My fianc tried to re-caulk our bathroom stall unsuccessfully. Mike re-caulked it even though it wasn't in the contract, and he did it at no charge. This company was great to work with and I highly recommend them!

Professional and competent all the way around. Mike (the owner) was able to set an appointment quickly and provided a timely estimate covering all work to be performed. His crew showed up on time and performed the work exactly as he said they would. The way our porch/deck structure is designed required painstaking preparation and attention to detail to not paint unwanted surfaces. They did an excellent job for an affordable price. The only disappointment was the porch ceiling structure which was bare wood. It could have used another coat of paint. After informing Mike of this, he sent his guys back, but I didn't really see much of a difference. This might have been because they sprayed it vs. using a brush for the touch-up.

We were extremely pleased with the service. The price seemed very reasonable, especially considering the amount of prep work needed (we had just bought the house, and the previous owners had left many holes in the walls), and the quality of the work was beautiful. We had picked out some paint colors using swatches from a home improvement store and they were able to match them simply by getting the color names from us over the phone, which was convenient. The work was done in a few days with very little mess. We would definitely use them again.
