Kitchen design experience: At first I was excited to have FineLine Kitchens come take a look at my outdated kitchen. Sarah had designed my friend's kitchen, and I could tell that she has good (but expensive) taste. Working with Sarah just to get an honest quote on my kitchen remodel was a waste of everyone's time. Her arrogance and lack of professionalism was even worse than her price tag. She insisted on blindly charging $2500-$3000 before even sitting down with her to do a design saying many times "my work speaks for itself" and that its a boutique experience. No formal quote or anything on paper. I have gotten a few other companies and designers come in and they have given me step-by-step quotes as well as a peek of what they had been planning for a design. With a big smile, too! She says that sometimes she won't even take a project that's "not worth her time", but she said she was exited to come up with a design for my kitchen after she returned from a month long vacation. 1+ months later, even more unprofessional and disorganized, she canceled my appointment without notice, despite our correspondence over email. She did not take the time to answer what few questions I had when I walked into the studio, which is when she looked at me like I was trespassing. Bottom line: FineLine kitchen designs may "speak for itself" but it does nothing to convey Sarah's arrogance and extreme lack of self awareness. Good luck to all her future clients!

"Too good to be truth" can be applied to this company. They don't have their own contractors, they hire the contractors outside. The project started in April and finished in September because there are many issues that the contactor create during the work. And project halted during remodeling that made project took 5 months to finish. In April 2018 I hired them, while the job just started a few days, they stopped working without let me know the reason why until I called the company, and Dwan who is husband of Sarah told me that contactors are on vacation for a week. The project halt for a week. All works they do go with another new issue like if they do this there will be another new issues For example, Scratched on hardwood floor, install improper dead bolt, broken wall tile. Water drops down under cabinet from between a sink and countertop because of bad seal. After project finished I called them come to fix and left reviews online, Sarah called me with extremely angry and asked me to pull out all comments. If I leave negative comment online that means I terminate the work with the Fineline Kitchen so they don't come to fix the problems. She said that she cares about the company. I pulled out negatives comments,. Sarah told me that the company will send out good contractors, and it is not a service call. She kept saying many times that the company is not a service all, for the future if I have a problem, I have to call the service company NOT her company. It took more than 6 months for the company send someone. Around December 2019 they to fix the issues. After contractors replaced a broken wall tile, I didn't check the outlet because there is an outlet on a broken tile. Until a few months ago, I need to use the outlet and found down the outlet has no electric. I don't recommend to hire this company!

It went great. I love the design and finished product. They could have been slightly more proactively communicative while the work was going on, but they were responsive to my queries and the work was done in a reasonable time frame.

Very well; crews worked hard and removed all the old cabinets, tile, appliances etc. and installed the new ones. The crews didn't work every day as they had other jobs, so the overall project took several weeks, but really put the time in. When an initial light design made the room too dim they immediately changed it to a new light with no hesitation. Also had a draining issue when they put in the new dishwasher, but they got right on it and got it going. Very easy design process at their store, good computer designed graphics to show the finished plan.

Sarah was a pleasure to work with. There was a good selection of cabinets, tiles and countertops to choose from, unlike other contractors we consulted. The workmen came on time and worked steadily and consulted us when needed. The work was done in the time scheduled.70

The results were amazing, especially my master bathroom. The design was extremely tricky but Sarah and Dwain were able to deliver great results regardless. Sarah and I really connected on the design and she was beyond helpful when I was trying to figure out what style I wanted. We had a few coordinating bumps along the way but besides that my husband and I are thrilled with the new bathrooms. Thank you Sarah and Dwain, we look forward to working with you again soon!

Upon starting the estimate process, we received several conventional, but boring, design proposals from other contractors. In order to push beyond these staid designs, we decided to purchase a design consultation from Fineline Kitchens. This turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Sarah and Dwain were professional and enthusiastic, and immediately understood what we were trying to do with the house. Sarah’s design was genius, and used the available space to perfection. During this initial process, Fineline was the only firm that noticed several elements of the space that would present major challenges. In fact, their attention to detail ensured we were armed with important knowledge when reviewing other proposals. Design: Extremely personalized, creative, and inspired. Sarah designed a contemporary kitchen, but with timeless elements, and they worked together to create what would be an awesome space. Sarah provided consultation on all our materials choices. This was important because she is obviously aware of trends, but also guided us on features appropriate to our location and environment. She was either present or on the phone during all major decisions, and was a strong advocate for our interests. Construction: Fineline’s employees were all courteous, considerate, and extremely skilled. They easily overcame the typical issues that come up during any major project. Workmanship was top notch, and Fineline used the latest materials and techniques. Dwain managed to work with several of our difficult requests, and maintain a pace that was appropriate to the work being done. He was always respectful, and projected confidence during what can be precarious times: when the entire first floor is gutted down to frame and plywood, or when a small but essential part is missing from an installation kit on a key feature. Dwain and Daniel always kept the project moving in a positive way. Value Considering the work being done, Fineline provided an excellent remodeling value. We can’t recommend them enough. Their rates were very reasonable, and they made sure that the work was done to the initial specifications. Our kitchen is insane; something we never imagined was possible is now real.

We used Sarah and Dwain to remodel the only full bath in our home. It was a challenging project given the strange layout, but Sarah came up with a great, functional design, and Dwain and his team did a great job bringing her vision to life. The renovation was shockingly fast and the crew kept the space remarkably clean. We look forward to working with Sarah and Dwain in the future.

The work men came punctually, got to work without delay, and continued to work steadily over the next 5-6 weeks. The workers were always friendly and courteous, and consulted us when choices needed to be made. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. It was as easy an experience as it can be to have an important upart of your house torn up. We have had other remodeling done where we were not sure when or if the workers would show up, so this was definitely a good example of a good contractor. At the end of the process, we had a entirely newly configured kitchen and laundry room with pantry. Everyone we worked with, starting with Sarah and Dwain to Daniel and the rest of the crew, was polite, listened to and answered our questions to our satisfaction. Sarah made great suggestions, many that we ended up incorporating into our new kitchen. We are absolutely pleased with the results. Not only is our kitchen beautiful, it is more functional and efficient. Thank you, Fineline Kitchens.

Two of our very close friends highly recommended this company to us, So we visited both houses to check the outcome of the work before we made our decision, both were exceptional. Sarah the designer did a very professional measurement of our kitchen area, and submitted the first draft very quick, offered two options(higher/lower price) for us to choose. and revised her design multiple times according to our feedback, the final design was impeccable and met our every needs. Dwin the general contractor, proposed a very reasonable cost according to the design, and managed the workflow smoothly, and completed all the work in time as promised. We are very satisfied and truly enjoy our new kitchen.

It was a professional experience but design error made us decide not to use them. Other firms had made same mistake but that was one of our weed out factors.

They were punctual and diligent for estimate and installation. Work was completed in a professional manner. Cleanliness during the removal and installation was very impressive.

Sarah was great. She was professional and gave me tips for saving money as that was high on my agenda. I ended up using a different vendor due to the selection they had. Give Sarah a try, she is worth talking too.

Sarah, Aiman and Dwain, words can never express how grateful I am for the job you did in my kitchen. My wife had just come home from the hospital after a torturous three months undergoing chemotherapy and now she was in complete remission. My sons and I wanted to surprise her with a gift symbolizing her remarkable strength in fighting the disease. We deliberated back and forth and we finally settled on remodeling our 40-year-old kitchen, as we believed it would hold sentimental value for the entire family. We all had fond memories of her making our favorite meals in that kitchen ever since our kids were toddlers until they left the coop and began coming with their own families to eat at our place. FineLine Kitchens just completed a remodel of my kitchen and I could not be more appreciative. Dwain, Sarah, and Aiman were godsend when it came to undertaking my kitchen remodel. Dwain’s communication skills were impeccable as he responded to all of my e-mails within a short time. This was very important to me as this was my first remodel and I had so many questions. From selecting the right countertops to choosing the floor type, these people held my hand the whole way. Sarah also kept me updated on all the aspects of the project to ensure that I was okay with everything that was being done. The project was completed before time and we never went above the budget. FineLine Kitchens are the real professionals of kitchen remodels and I would not hesitate to contact them again

I hired Fineline Kitchens to do some minor renovation in my kitchen. They did and stood by what was planned and agreed upon, with thoughtfulness and skills. They had solid commitment to the job that was quite different from some other contractors i worked with. Attention to details was appreciable including cleaning up. Committed. Dedicated. I'm proud of them. There was no surprise financially. The communication was pleasant. Overall i would say if you have challenging but realistic expectations for your project, this is the group you can depend on to have a high chance of success. Would recommend to others.

We had a great experience working with Fineline Kitchens. We had a major kitchen remodel, walls removed, supporting beam installed and hidden in ceiling, door placement changed, georgeous new cabinets, new wood floors installed, etc. Our kitchen turned out beautiful (actually beyond our greatest expectations ). Great attention was paid to every detail. Wain ,Sarah and everyone on their staff were a pleasure to work with. They were professional, trustworthy , kind, and friendly. Their subcontractors were carefully hand picked by them and treated us with the same courtesy we have come to expect from Fineline. We were comfortable having them in our home, treating it they would their own. We highly recommend DBS for anyone considering any remodeling . We have actually hired them for some bathroom remodels. We now consider them part of our family.
