Description of Work: A person came to the house and gave us what we thought was a high rough estimate for a deck, porch, and addition we were planning. We called a couple of times to talk to the owner afterwards but he never called us back.

The company provided a clear estimate of work to be completed. The estimate was easy to read and expectations were laid out in the estimate. The work was completed in a quick and professional manner. The project manager updated me on the progress of the work. Quality of work was awesome. I was aware of the products they were using and they offered the best materials and products available. I would definitely recommend Enterprise Contracting to anyone needing any type of work to be done in a professional and dependable manner.

In summary the project has been a total disaster from the beginning, the owner Andy never had the courtesy to come by and take remedial steps surely not even an apology. it was so frendly before we signed and simply never called after we signed the contract. The only very efficient part of this company is how fast they were charging our credit card, this was impressively quick and efficient. But, wait, the best is yet to come. When, finally 7 months later (end of July) and 60.000 extra dollars later they had to finish the works by - simply - clean the house "professionally'. They sub contracted the work to another company that used muriatic acid to clean the house. so, after a visit to the emergency room to check if we were ok, ECS told us that was not their fault as the work was sub contracted. We had to change all appliances that were installed only 4 days earlier. The insurance paid the cost luckly but it took another 5 weeks to sort this out. This is my experience with ECS, nothing more to add
Description of Work: We recruiting ECS after 2 very positive a friendly visits from the owner of the company, Andy, followed by a visit from a very experienced project manager and a capable designer. After few weeks we decided to recruit ECS in order to 1) remodel completely 3 bathrooms and kitchen 2) do an extension of the house (approx extra 400 square ft) with powder room and half bath and 3) few extra works such as better insulation and electric system The budget agreed was 200K with projects commencing on Feb 1 for 3 to 4 months. This is what has happened The first week ECS did not show up and they did not even bother to call, let alone apologize The experienced project manager resigned from the company and we had assigned a guy in his early 20s with very limited experience, nice guy but no experience The designer also left the company, we never been informed and we did not have another designer Starting from the very beginning we realized that we were dealing with a company interested to get our money but not interested to provide quality work let alone in time. The initial budget was just over 200.000 and became more than 260.000, they agreed to do it in 3 months, and became 7 months, they wanted to charge us to "bring up to code" some electric equipment and when we call the experts it was not the case, they subcontracted most of the jobs to people that could not speak proper English, the designer in charge of the project left as soon as the started the project and the same happened with the project manager, replaced by a 22 year person nice guy but with very limited experience, we had a total of 12"unexpected" charges for over 60.000$. just one example. ECS charged us extra 600$ for a window as 'we did not specify that we wanted a window that could be opened". Sound funny but they were serious. So my advice if you recruit them please specify if you install a door that you need one that can be opened.

Initial meeting with owner of company, Andy, and acrhitect ,Patrick, went great....we signed on the dotted line. Andy "generously" increased our allowances without increasing the contract price. The initial allowances were so low that had he not offered to increase we would have never signed. Visiting their vendors was disasterous!!! Our allowances didn't even cover some of the lowest end products causing us to add on to the contact. Example, undermount basic, bottom of the line, sink was $100 and our allowance was $75! I personally spent alot of time trying to work out solutions to not go over budget. When we contacted Andy (president of Enterprise) about obtaining our allowance spreadsheet he got very agitated and rude. Contract showed a estimate start date of May 15th and work did not start until June 26th....company kept on just putting us off and took days to return emails or phone calls. We were told and had in writing no subcontractors would be used. The initial demolation on the first day was done by a subcontractor as well as the painting, shower and small amount of electricity. Even a company employee was offering to do some "side work" on the weekends, seperate from his job with Enterprise. The final product we are happy with though it went 10 days over the project plan.
Description of Work: Renovation of master bath--no tearing down walls or reconfigurating.

With respect to my first job using Enterprise, the construction of a garage and carport, they drew up plans to accommodate an over sized one car garage and an attached carport to fit into the back corner of the lot. Since it is a typical small Arlington lot and there was a tree in the vicinity of the proposed site, it was determined that the one car garage and carport would work better than a two car garage since the footings required for the carport would be less intrusive than for the two car garage and in that way the tree would not have to be removed. Enterprise designed the garage with a window and entry door which opened out to the carport. It has proven to be a great design as the carport doubles as a covered patio for summer entertaining. The work itself went smoothly and Enterprise supplied an excellent concrete man who extended the driveway and a garage door opener company that did a nice job on that part of the project. Overall, it was a very smoothly handled project.
Description of Work: I have used Enterprise Contracting for many jobs over the years since they first designed and installed an over sized one car garage and attached carport in 1990. It was uniquely designed to fit into a small lot in Arlington, VA, and was done promptly, efficiently, and at a very reasonable price. Since that successful job I have had them design and complete a substantial den addition to the house (1993), replace windows (1997), replace a roof (1998), and repair a wall leak and replace skylights (2006). All of their work has been excellent and reasonably priced. They have always been a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them.

Enterprise Contracting was excellent to work with from the first meeting with the President Andy, to the final day of clean up at the end of a five month project! We had water issues in our master bathroom. The original builder (BrooksField Homes) used regular regular dry wall behind the tile of our walk in shower. The water damage by the time we understood the problem was immense. While we were at it, we upgraded everything. Enterprise installed the kohler digital shower interface, two shower heads and four bodysprays. The digital interface is amazing- we can save our favorite temperature, shower head and body spray combination so we only have one "button" to start everything. No levers at all. We also did a frameless shower, which was pretty difficult because of our shower shape. Our contractor (Paul) did an amazing job. He showed us step by step everything he did, any problems he was encountering along the way and our different solutions. The project did take more time than anticipated (4 weeks instead of 2). This was due to unanticipated problems. For instance, our selected tile was really brittle and Paul tried to cut out inserts for the fixtures using 5 or 6 different machines before having to move the plumbing system. Another example, the shower walls were custom so we had to wait 10 days, etc).
Description of Work: Enterprise gutted our old walk in shower, replaced decaying support beans and build a new shower from the custom water proof basin, the tile work, plumbing and rewiring the electrical. The system installed was a Kohler digital control, two showerheads and four bodysprays. The shower also included a built in seat and frameless shower.

Not the least expensive, but definitely the most creative. A couple of hick-ups along the way, but I guess to be expected in such a large job. We do love the outcome ... and would be more than willing to use them again.

We just finished a major kitchen renovation and could not be more pleased. This is our second project with Enterprise, in June 2010 they did a complete renovation of our master bathroom. We live in a 1970's era townhouse and the choice is to partially update the kitchens/bathrooms or to do them nicely by complete renovation--we chose the later and feel as if we are in a new house. Since this was our second project with Enterprise I did learn a few things and I was MUCH happier with the flow of the second project. I chose Enterprise for the kitchen because although we did experience a few issues with the bathroom, in the end we have been so pleased with the quality of work that we went with them for the kitchen. Their customer service is great, Andy came out and worked with us, we wanted it nice but were trying to keep within a budget, he made suggestions to help us stay within it--we easily could find what we wanted in their "base" price in wood flooring, cabinets and granite. In the masterbath project we upgraded in every item and while we are very pleased, the overall price did reflect the upgrades. Be honest with Andy and tell him what is important to you and he will work with you. I bought all new appliances and when I ordered them I got the printout with the dimensions, this I gave to them before work started and it seemed to be helpful, especially fitting in the refrigerator. The kitchen was completed in 4 weeks, I got back in at 3 weeks but there were a few items to be finished the 4th week. This was my major complaint with the bathroom previously, it seemed to drag out forever. I learned that if you have a concern or problem, make a call or send an email and someone will get back with you quickly. With the bathroom I let things drag and the powers that be with the company were not aware of some issues, this all seems to be resolved now but I did not let things go this time. Only once with the kitchen did I have a concern, I called and got immediate attention. It is nice to smile each time I go into the kitchen now.
Description of Work: Complete kitchen renovation, new floors, cabinets, counter tops, lighting. Previously a complete master bathroom renovation (June 2010).

Overall, it took my Angies List report to get the a response from the company. I had previously called their offices about the shelves in March and April 2011. While the secretary took my message each time I called, I was never called back.
Description of Work: I submitted a report back in November 2011 in which I rated my experience as an overall D. The company saw the report and contacted me about my problem, which was the kitchen cabinet shelves that were installed back in 4q09, but were under warranty for 5 years. The shelves were too small to stay on the pegs, if the shelves were bumped. The company came out 12/16/11 with 2 new shelves and a different style of shelf peg. The shelf pegs fixed the problem. The company was there on time, and the problem was fixed in just a few minutes.

we wanted to have work done (paint interor and remodel kitchen) before moving into a new house. painting portion of work was satisfactory although not perfect. kitchen remodel was not satisfactory. the primary deficiency was caused from installing a cabinet that was warped from poor construction. we questioned using the warped cabinent, but were told they had a way to use the cabinet without it looking warped. the solution was to use finishing screws to screw an end panel over the warp with the finishing screws being from the finished outside of the cabinet. wax was used to cover the holes. this was a brand new cabinet that was being marred with finishing screws. another deficiency was a drawer wouldn't fully close without an extra push due to an electrical outlet and its wires binding the drawer. the electrical outlet was added late in the project because inspectors said it was needed for code requirement. so this code requirement was missed by people who supposedly had been doing this for over 25 years. since the end panel and outlet came near the end after granite, sinks and appliances were installed, we just wanted them out of our house. they also missed another code requirement for stove wiring that they then charged us for because it wasn't in the original estimate. this all happened between 9/09 and 2/10. in early 2011 we tried contacting them for a solution to cabinet shelves which were supposed to under warranty for something like 5 years and which were too narrow for the cabinet pegs to hold if bumped, but they never returned our calls.

We got three quotes for this work and finally decided to go with Enterprise, there were a couple of deciding factors that steered us in this direction, the first was,(Andy) the company owner, listened intently to our wishes and concerns and was able to answer all our questions about time, cost overrun, and quality of work in a very professional manner. We also wanted to make sure that all the workers on site were employed directly from his company and did not use subs. Andy worked very closely with us during the development phase of the project and was never more than a phone call away to answer any questions that popped up. The job was completed on time and we were delighted with the result and the quality of the work. The reason I am writing this report so late is, I noticed an issue with the siding last week that I had not noticed before now, I made one call to Enterprise and they came the next day to take care off it, this is my idea of a full service contractor and I would not hesitate to use them again.
Description of Work: Enterprise Contracting carried out a a large renovation of our 1920's home in Arlington, the square footage added was 1800 sq.ft. and consisted of a family room on the first floor, and a new master bedroom with an extra guest bedroom on he second floor, the master bedroom also had a full bathroom added. On the ground floor we added a screened porch plus we remodeled the existing kitchen and bathrooms, for all this extra space we added a new HVAC system plus a wood burning stove in the new den.

All work was first rate. The new cabinets were exceptionally well constructed, handsomely finished and very fairly priced. Enterprise used great subcontractors. Their experienced and friendly on-site manager daily assured that all work, including that done by subcontractors, was well done and quickly resolved any of our issues or concerns. In addition to doing outstanding quality work, Enterprise's price to us was very reasonable: we got a high-end designer kitchen and family room upgrade at a very affordable cost. Finally, Enterprise provided a full one-year warranty on everything. We have had several minor, fine-tuning type problems since completion which Enterprise has quickly resolved with no questions asked. We recently had a minor door problem after the one year warranty was over which Enterprise fixed at no cost to us,
Description of Work: Enterprise Contracting did a complete kitchen renovation and upgrading of our adjacent family room completed in May 2010. They did an outstanding job, resulting in the kitchen of our dreams that both draws rave reviews from all who see it and is a great working kitchen in which we love to cook and entertain. Enterprise expeditiously completed all work, including completely gutting our old kitchen, upgrading plumbing and electrical [with added second "vegetable" sink and additional lighting], installing all new cabinets, appliances, granite countertops and hardwood floors. Special custom work was also well done including a designer tile backsplash and a one-of-a-kind unique stainless steel railing in the family room.

We can't speak to the quality of their work, since they didn't do any, but we don't think their customer service is anything to write home about. It's too bad, because we really liked the guy who came out; as soon as he left, we agreed that if his price was where we needed it to be, we'd hire them. UPDATE 10/5/11 The day after our review was submitted, my husband received 2 phone calls from Enterprise - one from the VP of Operations, and one from the owner himself. Both apologized profusely, stating that they didn't know what had happened, but "that's not the way we do business." A day or two later, we received our estimate. We've since met with another contractor and will be going with that company instead, but we do appreciate the follow-up, late as it is.
Description of Work: We called for an estimate and had a guy come out to our house. He spent about 2-3 hours with us, walking around looking at the jobs we needed done, taking notes, etc. He was personable and seemed to know what he was talking about. We looked at door and window catalogs and siding samples. We talked about kitchen cabinets and countertop options. When he was done, he told us he'd get back to us within a week to give us the estimate (which we thought would run somewhere in the neighborhood of $30k-$40k). Well, a week came and went and he didn't call back. We called and left a message at the main company number, and still have not heard back from anyone associated with this company, and it's been about 5 weeks. If they called us today and said they'd do our work for free, we would not hire them - if their customer service is this poor and they don't even have the job yet, what would happen once they were inside our house and we had an issue???

Very quick to complete the work, but a little slow to start -- perhaps summer vacations involved. Quality work according to my requests, which included additions due to issues found after starting. Nearby shrubs got some damage -- not unexpected. Price seemed a little steep, but the work was important.

Andy Riley and his team helped us design and scope our 500+ square foot addition to our 40 year old home. In choosing them, we exceeded our initial design goals while staying within our budget. They began and ended the work on time, and were exceptionally competent in all required crafts (plumbing, electrical, framing, roofing, interior and exterior finish, etc.). Their crews were punctual, efficient, quiet (as possible) and courteous at all times. Billing was handled very professionally, and we were completely comfortable in our business dealings. Our family, neighbors, and friends consistently comment on the quality of the work, the aesthetic outcome, and the resulting value added to our home. Leading the project, and managing follow up work during the warranty period and beyond, our Project Manager, Adze Brown has provided exceptional service. His efforts ensured that our expectations have been consistently exceeded. 500We can not speak highly enough of Andy, his company, and his employees. They are truly an exceptional organization and we would gladly work with them on future projects and recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: We made a 544 square foot pop-out addition (over our walk out basement) to our traditional colonial home. This included remodeling of the kitchen and 1/2 bath, adding a 150 square foot deck/stairs, pouring a 700 sqare foot concrete pad for our new covered patio area. We also upgraded our electrical service to 200 amp and installed a new Central air and Heating system.

I have used Enterprise Contracting for multiple projects at home and in my business from smaller projects (new roof, siding, insulation, repairs) to complete renovations costing over $100,000. In each project a certified renovator from Enterprise met with me at the project site to go over what needed to be done, took pictures, made notes and then sent me a written proposal. Any questions I had either before, during or after the project were answered for me and at times even required research on their part. I dealt with the same individual from beginning to end who also supervised the work when it was being done. They were punctual in meeting with me and in starting the work, I have not experienced any delays in either scheduling projects or in thier finishing them once started (as I have with many contractors). Enterprise is a professional, first class contractor. The workmen who performed the work, most of whom are employees of Enterprise, knew what they were doing, were respectful of me and my family, did quality work and cleaned-up at the end of each work day. I don't expect them to be the cheapest but I do expect top performance and quality workmanship from them and have yet to be disappointed! If you want the job done right, go with Enterprise!!
Description of Work: Over the last several years, Enterprise has performed the following services for me: completely gutted and renovated a townhouse from basement to the top floor including a new kitchen and hardwood floors installed new roof and siding on my house replaced attic insulation with blown-in insulation rebuilt front portico repaired damage to exterior of my house from a tree falling on it interior and exterior painting numerous "handyman" type jobs from caulking and sealing to adding duct work

In a nutshell, it was a Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde experience! During our initial conversations, they were all wonderful--available any time we needed, overly friendly, and kept telling us how much they wanted our business. Andy (owner/president) and Scott (salesman) offered the sun, moon, and stars. Scott came out to our home several times to measure and provide samples, etc. Prior to signing the contract, I explained to Enterprise that we were on a very tight budget. Although they came down on price a little, we were still a little higher than we wanted to be. Scott promised up and down that there would be no surprises and no additional costs. Period. So, we signed. Once the contract was signed, everything changed--they were difficult to get hold of and many of the "promises" told to us never really came to fruition. The problems really began when they discovered they allegedly measured our countertops incorrectly (they were off by 50%!!). Although Scott measured the countertops several times prior to writing out the contract, somehow they claimed the measurements were off and it would cost an additional $500 to finish the job. Now, things may have been a bit complicated because we also inquired as to how much it would cost to add a lip to the island to allow for stools, but even without the extra counter space, we were told that they would not continue working on our kitchen until we paid the $500 for the mis-measured countertops. I was frustrated. I again reminded them that we were promised there would not be additional costs, period. In fact, it is not like our kitchen changed sizes so I was baffled as to how this could have happened. How could they have mis-measured the countertops by so much? I asked to see a template of the countertops. Now I think my request to see the template and the measurements was extremely reasonable. Maybe they are used to people just paying, but $500 is a lot of money. So I wanted justification. In response to my request, they pulled the team out and completely shut down work on the kitchen. In essence, my kitchen was gutted, completely unusable, and was held in hostage unless we would pay the $500. Instead of showing us the template, Mr. Greg Mullin was rude, angry and adamant that he be paid and he be paid now. I went to his office during regular business hours to ask once again for a template, and instead of showing me a template he yelled at both me and my wife telling us we were flat out rude for showing up at his office (DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS) without an appointment. He slammed his fist on the table and demanded we pay the $500 no more questions asked. He said something to the affect of it being an "inconsequential" sum of money and I was disrespecting his time by disputing it. Well, $500 will feed my family for one month...so it is a lot of money to ME. I am the customer, aren't I? Clearly, Mr. Mullen did not see it this way. Rather than focusing on the issue at hand, he also went on a rampage telling us how we had old pipes that broke during installation (in other words, THEY broke 2 pipes and were somehow telling us that it was our fault), that he had to have the plumber fix himself. He told us that our little small-priced job was something the company doesn't even usually take. The way we were treated and what he was saying to us (well, yelling at us) was basically he could care less about our concerns or our satisfaction. He wanted his money and he wanted us to go away. I had a problem paying $500 without justification so after some back and forth email and phone exchanges (where he accused me of "obfuscating" the project), he finally relented and said we would have to drive to Springfield ourselves to meet with the granite guy to see the measurements. We went out on a Saturday, dragging our two young children (3 years old and 6 years old) 45 minutes to see the template to learn that we were basically paying for our countertops + scraps. Again, this was not what we expected and it was a bit frustrating....but after feeling bullied and a bit exhausted, we relented and agreed to pay the $500 to just get our kitchen back. I would also add that Mr. Greg Mullen spoke very rudely to my wife telling her that I (her husband) was the bad guy, that he was planning on charging us an additional $300 re-deployment fee to send the crew back and that we had no respect for his time. (At the end of the day, despite threatening us, he did not actually charge us this extra $300). You know, we work very hard for our money. When we give a company thousands and thousands of dollars, we want to be treated with some dignity and respect. This process from start to finish was terrible. We were treated extremely badly and disrespectfully, especially by Mr. Greg Mullen. He really needs a lesson on customer service and basic human decency. I have so many other comments that I do not even know where to begin. I want to add, however, that I raised all my comments, questions and concerns with Scott before signing the contract, and in fact wrote the questions in the margins of the contract. They did a poor job setting expectations correctly and living up to their promises. What's worse, they treated us so poorly and bullied us so badly that we felt we had to choose our battles. Instead of being 100% satisfied with the quality of the installation, we let a lot of things go because we didn't want to be abused or yelled at by Mr. Mullen anymore. The cabinet doors stick a little, there's some goop in the sink that shouldn't be there, but we don't feel comfortable complaining to them about it because they were so mean, rude and abusive to us. Well...more specifically, Mr. Greg Mullen was. They said the project would only take one week, and it took much, much longer than that. The only answer I ever received from any of them "I'm sorry you feel that way." That's it! They completely had us over a barrel and they knew it! They made our kitchen completely unusable, then demanded more money knowing we would pay. We have 2 small boys and had to eat out every meal for a week because we didn't have electricity, water (or a sink for that matter), or any way of cooking and preparing food in the kitchen! Other inaccuracies they told us (Scott and Andy): They would get permits to pull the gas stove, but that didn't happen They only used Master plumbers for all plumbing work--but the guy that came out was not a Master plumber! They only use master electricians when removing/replacing electrical outlets--this was all done by the same carpenter that was trimming the wood and installing the cabinets--not an electrician at all! We were told they would fix and touch up any damaged paint, they damages several areas of the walls then I was told that repairing this damage was not part of the contract! They also broke 2 pipes when they removed the sink which they did replace at their cost, but Greg was so angry at us for that he literally shouted at us and blamed us and the home builder for having cheap plastic pipes! When they installed the dishwasher the first time, they literally just slid it into the opening, they didn't secure it at all! They cam back again to secure it and had it sticking out 3 inches from under the counters! I refused to sign the paperwork that the job was completed until they fixed its placement. it shouldn't take anyone 3 attempts to install a dishwasher! I have saved the emails from Greg accusing me of "obfuscating" when all I wanted was for them to complete the job. Please do your homework and check the contract with these guys, but I would recommend using almost anyone but them! They were not the least expensive by any means; we thought we were paying a premium to not have to deal with these issues--save your money and use another company! I am planning to also file this with the State of VA Attorney General's office and the BBB. Finally, I want to tell the WORLD that these guys have threatened to SUE us for posting this Angie's List review. Mr. Greg Mullen sent me and my wife an email and a certified letter indicating he will pursue legal proceedings if we do not take this review down. Whether he does or not, you all should know that this threat happened. And stay tuned...I will update as appropriate. Mr. Mullen never called us or otherwise contacted us to reconcile our grievances or otherwise discuss our negative experience with them. Rather, the only communication with him since he got all our money is a threat to sue.
Description of Work: Enterprise Contracting was replacing all our kitchen cabinets and countertops. We were upgrading from standard builder grade materials that came with the home 13 years ago to granite countertops and wood cabinets.

Contacted Enterprise to get a quote on our kitchen rehab. The owner Andy and interior designer Donna came to visit our house and talked to us about what we wanted and how that could be accomplished. We asked for hardwood floors in the kitchen to match the existing hardwood ; tile in the sun room and laundry room, granite countertops, new lighting, new appliance installation, and relocating the island. We were very excited, especially because of Andy's extensive portfolio of beautiful work. When Donna presented the proposal, it had a base price of $16,965 with many options that brought the total almost to $26,000, we felt the price was a little high but were impressed enough with their experience that we were willing to pay the extra $$. We had a couple of concerns with their proposal. First, they only offered us a choice of three types of hardwood flooring and when approached about matching, Donna indicated that she was not going to try to match the existing one but will choose one that will "flow" well, I asked to see samples so I know what I am getting before we sign anything, she asked me to go the the website and see them there. I was not to happy about this as I know that colors on the computer depend on you monitor.. Second, the granite - the contract indicated four colors of granite to choose from - but again, no samples of colors were provided. We went to Home Depot to look at them, we were able to see three of the four at Home Depot and one on the internet - wich will probably be different in person anyway. We did not like the three we saw as we felt they were either too dark or too bland. We thought that if one of the three hardwoods they offered was a pretty good match for our existing floors, I could go find the fourth choice somewhere and see if we liked that one. However, later in the week, we received an email indicating that the proposal they presented to us had a mistake of $3,500 in their base price, bringing the total to $20,465. There were no explanations about where the mistake was made. With this increase and their limited choices of flooring and granite, we felt this is not the contractor for us.
Description of Work: Gave us an estimate in kitchen rehab.

They were a recommendation from my realtor and I have used them a couple of times now and I really like them. They are very responsive. I call these guys or try to get them to come out. They come out and do the estimate, after that they come out and get the work done. They want to do the work right away. He is always looking for more work so when I call him about one job, I know he's going to come out and tell me everything else that's wrong with the house. I don't mind that because I can get things done at the same time. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: Enterprise Contracting came and did the exterior painting of my house. They just finished the job on Sunday, the 20th of March.

Enterprise Contracting is our favorite (only) contractor. We continue to recommend Enterprise Contracting to our friends with total security that they will do spectacular work for them. If you are looking for a quality contractor, you should not hesitate to contact Enterprise Contracting Services.
Description of Work: Over time they have performed many jobs (large and small) for us. Jobs as small as gutter cleaning, to as large as a new cedar shingle roof and vinyl siding, exterior and interior painting, and complete kitchen remodeling. Everything they said they would do they did very efficiently and professionally. They completely renovated the outside of our home to the point that we felt we had a brand new house. Then they renovated our kitchen beautifully, on time, and with minimal "down time". They did what they said they would do, and they did it within the time (and the cost) that they said it would take.

Sales team was responsive and professional. Materials came in on time. However, the installers were messy and left debris in the yard. Also, the installers dragged out the project for weeks with odds and ends that needed completing. Very quick to bill, even though work was not complete. Finished job looks good and have received compliments on the work from neighbors, but would probably not use them again due to issues explained above.

After placing our initial request for an estimate, it took Enterprise several days to follow-up and schedule an appointment. During the verbal estimate, their price quote was high in comparison to other quotes we have received. After taking time from work to meet with their representative in the morning over two weeks ago, we have never received a written estimate as promised. In addition, we have received no follow-up communication to update on the status of our quote or reason for delay.
Description of Work: After receiving a flyer in the mail from Enterprise Contracting and checking them out on Angie's List, we scheduled an estimate at our home for exterior work on our decks. Potentially, we were also interested in them as a General Contractor to perform renovations inside our house. We were particularly interested in a larger company with adequate staff and business processes in place rather than a mom and pop type shop. Because they portray themselves this way, we expected more efficient results in the estimating and proposal process.

Terrible. Work took much longer than estimated and prices came in higher - READ THE FINE PRINT. Measurements were incorrect so we had to return and buy new appliances. Measurements on floors and walls was incorrect, forcing me to come home from work to make new decisions in a quick timeframe. Cabinet sample was a totally different color than the cabinets installed. Too many issues to mention. Would not recommend this company.
Description of Work: Total gutting of kitchen. New floors, cabinets, walls and appliances were installed.
