I have owned four homes and this is the worst drywall install and repair we have ever experienced. This company was subcontracted by our builder. We have numerous cracks, nail pops and flaws in our ceilings and walls. I called Stephen at Customer service to discuss the problems and he stated that he would not help us with the issues. I will never use this company again and would suggest that anyone who is buying a home to make sure this company is not subcontracted to do any work.

Eastern Applicators was secured as a subcontractor by the general contractor for our custom built home. They were contracted to do both the drywall and the painting throughout the house. We were told that the drywall finish would be the highest quality finish, a "level 5" which is achieved by shining lights on the drywall finsh to ensure that the surface would be free of irregualrities, holes, etc. Eastern Applicators also painted walls, trim and doors throughout the house. Only after we were in the home did sunlight reveal the most unsightly finishes on the drywall and painting. Not only are the areas around electrical boxes highly irregular, but there are large areas throughout that still show trowel marks from the first coat of drywall compound. The painting job was also subpar. They failed to adequately cover installed cabinetry, marble counter tops, hardwood and travertine floors, custom door hinges and light fixtures. There was and still is over spray of paint, paint runs and paint brush marks on all of these items. Sunlight reveals areas of the door trim to to have been painted around hinges leaving exposed base coat. Sunlight also reveals large areas of paint runs on walls and base board trim. Some rooms we find evidence that the second coat was never applied. A mysterious "alligatoring" on the painted wall surface has begun happening throughout the house. Some of the paint has flaked away to the drywall board underneath. Upon contacting other professional paint contractors and suppliers, we have been told that this happens when the surface is not clean prior to painting. How naive we were in assuming that Eastern Applicators would send experience drywallers and painters to the job giving us the finishes that we were told and tought we would get. NOT SO!! Their onsite supervisor failed to oversee the inexperienced labors and ensure that the work was done adequately. Not reliable.
