DESIGN SPEC INC

The company came to me highly recommended from two other people living in my complex, but my experience has not been one that would allow me to recommend these people. The word here is SLOW. It has been going on for two years (the flood happened four months after contracting with them so this might account for some of the delay.) But the job is still not finished. Months go by before they come out again. The granite was cut about an inch too short and so had to be patched next to the wall. They forgot to put braces in by the dishwasher to hold up the granite, so it is jimmy rigged at that point. But the doors are custom and are beautiful. The person who finished the doors is no longer with the company because he was unhappy with how he was paid. The job will look great when it is finished, but the process has been painful. The price went up when the finish was applied because he said that it was a special finish even though he knew all along that it would be a special finish.
