Collegiate Sealers & Paving

I had no problem quickly scheduling the service. The problem was that the morning of the day they were supposed to come, it was raining and they postponed the appointment. This was fine, but then it was raining the next morning as well. I assumed they wouldn't come, but I didn't call to confirm this and they didn't call either. What they did do was show up at about 5:00 that afternoon without notice. It's not clear to me whether they would not have just gone ahead and blocked in my car if I was out of my house! The men who came were not very communicative, so I don't know. The job itself I guess was fine, although I think we need a bigger resurfacing job.

The first time they came out, they sealed only some of the larger cracks and sealed the drive. We were not happy, especially since they did not seal some of the larger cracks. They left a evaluation sheet, which I completed and faxed in. I was called and told they would redo the job, which they did in less than a week. They did an excellent job the second time.

I had found Collegiate Sealers on Angie's list. They give me an estimate that was competitive and did the work as scheduled. The quality of the work was great. They did get a couple of leaves covered in the coating but I got them pulled up and the surface smoothed out...it was breezy that day. They were very neat and courteous. They gave me an invoice for the work and although I had a check to give them they left before I knew it and I mailed the check to the company.

As expected. They came as promised and finished quickly. The results seem to be fine.

Went OK - no big mess, they put some crack repair stuff in the cracks, covered almost everything. But basically they are a one-trick pony. If you need serious driveway repair...like a pot hole or big depression or big cracks (More than 1 inch) they aren't the ones...They missed one inch in a crack. Not a biggie but it was semi-obvious. I have no clue if they prepared the cracks before repairing (i.e. removed the dirt/debris) - I get the sense they just poured on the crack repair stuff. BUT - they don't claim to do that part very well. They seal. And they did seal well.

Great. They were really fast, and that's what we needed. The estimate was done immediately, and the work soon after. They did a great job, just as advertised, and the cost was very reasonable.

I am pleased with the work done. Collegiate Sealers was able to come right out and do the job in about an hour. They had advertised a rate of $69 which was a good price. They sealed the driveway and cleaned everything up. It looks great.

Scheduled work three days after request submitted and arrived as promised. Job finished neatly with clean edges and no spills.

I was happy with the repaving done by Collegiate Sealers. The driveway looks great and they did the work quickly. They were competitively priced and easy to work with.

I would never recommend this company to anybody because they did a really sloppy job on my driveway. They did not advise me that the sealant would not cure properly because the driveway was too deteriorated and needed repairing. The end product looks really bad.

I have been using Collegiate Sealers for our town home complex for 3 years now. I have gotten other bids and Collegiate Sealers are the cheapest in town. When they do the work, they are very professional and courteous. I just wish they had better quality materials.

These guys did a great job. I was very satisfied with what they did to the driveway. It looks good and hopefully it'll protect the driveway well. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to everybody with a driveway that needs protecting. They were professional and responsive. It did take them a little while to get there though.

Received an appointment as soon as I called. The arrival window is huge, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but you don't have to be there for the work to be done. Two guys arrived around lunch time and work was done well and quickly. An overall good experience. The only draw back was the request to leave payment taped to the door or under my doormat if I won't there. In this day of identity theft this is ASKING FOR TROUBLE. As it turned out I was home when the work was done, so paid them directly, but they weren't thrilled about having to send me a bill had I not been home.

I have Collegiate Sealers seal my driveways every other year. They do an excellent job. I have two driveways; one 60 feet long and the other approximately 20 feet long.

It was a fair job, they to redo the job because it was not done very well the first time. The second time it was not much better and they made a hole in the garage door. They paid to have the door repaired and offered to do the drive way for a third time, but I did nt want to deal with the mess for a third time so they sealed driveway for free not really a solution but it was something.

They were easy to schedule, had a good price, workmanship was not exceptional, but it was fine.

Never responded to two e-mails over a week period, even though an e-mail address is on their website; I had to call to arrange for their services. $90 was the going rate for my house, but they offered a special price for $75 and an appointment one week later, which I accepted. Two people (not college students, however) came out in early afternoon of the scheduled day. The work was thorough and neat, except for a small patch of grass in the front yard they used to wipe off their tools. They never notified me they completed the job; they just put the receipt on the door. I caught them in their vehicle looking at a map for their next job and was able to pay them before they left. Other than that, I'm pleased with the service provided.

They were reasonably priced, prompt, and gave professional service.

They cleaned the driveway and applied the sealer adequately although in one difficult place they were a little sloppy. The total price was great - less than it would have cost me to even buy the materials and do it myself. The crew member who spoke english was very polite. But they failed to arrive within the window of time I was given that morning. I had to call to check their arrival status and was given a new window of time. The crew arrived just as the second appointed time expired.

Sent email to company requesting an estimate to complete work. NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER.

Excellent value for the money. The job had to be rescheduled bc of rain - they called early to let me know, and then rescheduled for the next day......and they showed up right on time. The job itself was done right. Absolutely no complaints, and I will use them again next time.

Two workers arrived within the time window given and finished the job in about 20 minutes. I have a townhouse and my driveway can accommodate about 2 cars side to side. The sealing job was great and the workers left no mess. I thought their price was good.

COLLEGIATE SEALERS WILL REPAIR ANY CRACKS IN THE DRIVEWAY, AND THEN SEAL IT. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT, VERY CLEAN, AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THERE WERE SOME AREAS OF THE DRIVEWAY THAT SEEMED TO NEED MORE COATING, AND WHEN I MENTIONED THIS TO COLLEGIATE SEALERS, THEY SENT OUT A SUPERVISOR, AND ACTUALLY RECOATED THE ENTIRE DRIVEWAY.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY EVERY YEAR FOR THE LAST FIVE YEARS. THEY ARE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND TIMELY. I NEVER HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE ATTITUDES. THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO WORK WITH US.
