Collegiate Sealers & Paving

It was easy to schedule Collegiate Sealers Company for the work. They had to reschedule once because of rain but they called us. I would use them again in the future.

The job was done fantastically, very professional. I couldn't be more pleased.

This was the second time I used Collegiate and they were wonderful! Called them on Wednesday and they came out the next day. Charged the same price as the time before. They were prompt and courteous. The work quality was superb! Our driveway looks great!

Collegiate Sealers did a good work and all went on well. They appealed with the project and scheduled accordingly and I was very happy with them. They were very helpful and they can really do the job. I would rate them high overall. Their prices seemed fair. I would use their services in future.

Phone/appointment service was less than perfect: called on weekend and left message asking for someone to call me back. When no call back occurred I called again during weekday hours and was treated rather nonchalantly with a 'we've done your drive before, here's your price' which was more than what I am quoted in mailers. I went ahead with Collegiate based on recommendations from other Angie's List members. The work team arrived when promised, filled some cracks, applied sealant and departed.

We read great reviews about Collegiate Sealers and had a friend that used them to seal their driveway as well. They gave us an estimate for a driveway repair, which we will explore doing in a few years, but said if we maintain the upkeep of the current driveway we should get a few to several more good years out of it. The work is clean (no marks on house or sidewalk) and the quality seems to be good. Would recommend this company for anybody out there looking to seal their asphalt driveway. Quick and easy to work with.

Estimator called to make an appointment, as requested, so that other homeowners could meet with him, too. Provided quotes for the driveways while he was here. Immediately told us that the common pipestem was a larger project than they could do. Provided the names of contractors who might do that work. Very pleasant and professional.

Excellent. I sent an email and they responded immediately. They provided a price and a time they could come. I didn't have to wait at all. Their price was very reasonable. The job was completed on time and looks fabulous.

We were satisfied, not very satisfied but satisfied. They did a pretty neat job. They didn't get any tar in the grass and they got it right over to the edge. They didn't get any on the walk. I thought they did a good job but my husband didn't think it was perfect. He said that there were some thin places. I thought they were very good and they were easy to deal with. Several of our neighbors went in as a group and we each saved $10. The price was very reasonable considering if we had to buy the barrels and tar to do it ourselves. They were very professional. I would use them again because they were neat.

They were very good. They were on time. They had sent a flyer through the mail box and I called them. They did what they said they were going to do and did it on time. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Overall a great experience. They were in and out in about 30 minutes. Driveway still finish looks good a month later.

Collegiate Sealers did a great job. From the initial phone call through the completion of the job the company and their representatives were polite, punctual, and informative. I will definitely use them again.

Old driveway was in bad shape. CS job supervisor explained each step of job and how to take care of finished driveway. It was an impressive process to watch. I was surprised by the amount of equipment and the number of workers needed to do such a small driveway, but they worked like a well oiled machine and were quickly finished. New driveway looks great and is much safer.

Received a fast response and qiuck turn around from Dan on the estimate. The home office quickly worked me into the schedule. Larry and his crew showed up on time and ready to go to work. This is a very professional asphalt company and workforce. Larry and his workforce are professional in work and attitude. I will use them for all of my asphalt maintence needs

All members of the Collegiate team were very responsive throughout the entire process from the beginning with an initial quote to the completion of the project. At the onset of the project, they confirmed that work would begin on September 6 (Labor day) as scheduled and the team was on-site by 8:30 am. We received the original quote last fall but were unable to proceed because of weather concerns that Collegiate identified that would affect drying time and not produce the result that we were hoping to achieve. They honored our original quote price and completed the our project on time. They left the area free of debris. I received many comments from our residents - all positive. Simply put - WOW!

So far, perfect. The B for responsiveness is only because another vendor promosed and provided a quicker estimate but Collegiate Sealers delivered its as promised, within 5-7 business days. Their estimator was professional and easy to deal with, and submitted the low bid. They were ready to do the job even sooner than I wanted, then showed up exactly as agreed, did the prep and sealing carefully, thoroughly and quickly. I was worried about neatness where the asphalt meets a flagstone walkway and the garage concrete, but the work -- hand applied, not sprayed -- was as clean and careful. The crew was polite and able to handle my questions and concerns in English. This company deserves its high Angie's List rating, which was why I requested a bid in the first place.

Went very well. I got a postcard in the mail advertising what the rate would be for my driveway, and also noting that if a neighbor and I both had it done, we'd each get 10% off. When I called they already knew exactly what the price would be, and it matched the post card. And indeed my neighbor and i got 10% off. Scheduling was very quick, easy, and pleasant, and we didn't have to be home for the service, although I was. Two days before they called to ask if they could come a day earlier because a large rain was predicted. Thought that was great, rather then getting cancelled. The service itself was quick, the crew was polite and knew exactly what they were doing. I would definitely recommend them and use Collegiate again. Our driveway is about 4 car lengths long and two cars wide at the top, one car wide in the middle and bottom.

This was the simplest driveway resealing ever. We requested an estimate via their website. They responded by email within 2 days, including the price, the work they would perform, and how to proceed. We replied via email and they put us on their schedule. They came as scheduled, picked up the check we left, performed the sealing, cordoned off the driveway, and left us an invoice. They prepped and cleaned up well--and the resealing looks good. The experience was easy, efficient, and price-effective.

The asphalt portion of the driveway looks great. However, the machinery used to do the job left several deep scratches in my garage door and also damaged the street in front of my home. Addditionally, the concrete apron at the end of my driveway was seriously scuffed/stained/scratched and is now very unsightly.

Outstanding communication via email. Delivered as promised, nice work, and problems at all. They left the area cleaner than they found it.

Very well, they were very responsive to my request for an estimate, explained it thoroughly and completed work as, and when promised. The quality of the work was very well done.

The job went great. They repaired the cracks one day and returned a couple of days later to seal the driveway. They were very profession and reasonably priced. I was very happy with the results. The driveway looks great, much better than I thought it would.
