Fine. They performed the work while wasn't at home. Scheduling was easy. Job was done correctly.

I noticed Collegiate recently sealed a neighbor's driveway -- I walked all around to check for the quality and was impressed. To be certain, I checked on them on Angie's List -- great reviews and prices sounded reasonable. I sent an e-mail to them via the Angie's link on a weekend and received a thorough e-mail from them the next day. They outlined exactly what they would do, based my cost on the size of the driveway (I sent them measurements), and they promised to beat any estimate by $5. I was so impressed with the professionalism and detailed response I didn't bother to contact any other company for an estimate. they came exactly as promised, only a few days after I replied that I agreed to use them. I was not home, but when returned, checked out the driveway thoroughly -- very well laid down. No overspray of the sealant, the boundaries with the cement sidewalk were clean, and no trash was to be found. I was very impressed and will use this company again -- highly recommend them!

They are over prompt because they actually showed up early like close to half hour early. Once they were there and got the work they were done in pretty short order. I was working from home that morning because they were going to be there so that I can pay him all of sudden I was like they had come and gone. They are very fast and efficient.

The crew arrived as expected and did an excellent job. I could not be at home for their scheduled service so they gladly left the bill for me- not requiring advance payment. I plan to call them again in the fall to prepare for winter's assault.

The driveway is resealed every 2-3 years. I responded to a flyer from Collegiate Sealers and was able to make an appointment in a reasonable time frame. The crew arrived as scheduled, did a nice job trimming the grass at the edges of the driveway, and kept the sealer from getting on the floor of the garage and the concrete apron at the end of the driveway. The finished driveway looked like new.

I called the company and received an estimate for sealing the driveway. I was given a date and told to keep the driveway clear of cars and to expect the procedure to take 30 minutes to one hour. The driveway then needed to dry undisturbed for 24 hours. The team showed up on the appointed day, sealed the driveway in the morning and left a wide plastic ribbon attached to two posts to block entrance onto the driveway. It looked much better and the cracks were sealed up. Afterwards, we removed the wooden posts and ribbon ourselves. I left the payment taped to the front door so the workers didn't need to see me.

Fantastic! They arrived on time, were done quickly, and did a great job. The driveway looks great...there is no chance I will ever do this myself again!

Contractor does not service my area. I chose to contact them because there were no local paving contractors in my area listed in Angie's List, they appeared to have done some work in the area, I worked in the same town where their office is located, so they appeared to be within my commuting distance.

Our driveway was sinking and had sunk about 4 inches where it met the garage. Previous owner had tried to fix it and gotten a layer of asphalt on top of it to get it fixed but it sunk again. We had to get it re-paved. Collegiate did a great job. They took 2-3 days to give me an estimate but their estimate was the most detailed and thorough and included their insurance certificates etc. which made me feel they were very professional. Their quote was also very reasonable. I had variety of quotes ranging from $1400 (fix part of driveway) to $3000 (repave all of it). Their quote was not the least expensive but was reasonable, clear and had no hidden costs. We selected them to dig the sunken part and re-pave the whole driveway. They actually called me a week before the scheduled date and mentioned that the crew was available the next day. That worked better for us and we had the crew arrive a bit before time as they were done with previous job early. This is the most professional crew I have seen in my life. They move like soldiers, everyone knows what they are doing. They brought all the right equipment and were done in little over 3 hours and have built a perfect driway with perfect edges. Additionally they have a very good website and you can either pay the crew OR pay on website using their website. If they pave your driveway, first sealcoat is free. I highly recommend them. You may get a different team based on where you live, but their NoVA team is EXCELLENT.

They left a flyer in my mailbox with a great price quote compared to what others were offering. I called and made a reservation - which was 8 days later (due to my availability - not theirs). They showed up on time and did everything they promised. The quality of the work was great - no drips to other areas. They also put tape across the driveway so I didn't drive/walk on it. I will use them again based on my experience.

We had contacted several other companies late last year before I had Collegiate do an estimate.The price they gave me was not much higher then the other companies. The reason I went with them was they were the only company that was actually going to remove the old driveway install new stone as needed, grade and compact and lay new asphalt. Since I called late in the year they said they would be ready to do the work in the Spring which they contacted me emailed me the contract and made the process very easy. The gentleman that came to the house explained what they would be doing in the process of replacing the driveway. The were very professional and the driveway turned out perfect. We was so pleased with the entire process and would recommened Collegiate to anyone needing work done on their driveway.

Initially called late February to get an estimate for driveway asphalt resurfacing, but was informed they didn't do resurfacing as it wasn't cost-effective (even though website lists resurfacing under residential services). I was fine with that and called again around 1st week of March to get an estimate for a complete asphalt replacement and was told an estimator would call me back. Estimator called me back the same day and was told an estimate would be emailed to me same day since the property had already been measured in 2010 (previous owner). Never received the estimate nor a followup call of any sort. Hired someone else who, in the end, was able to just resurface. Update: 4/7/2013: Received a call from Thomas who was apologetic we didn't receive the estimate. It turns out Michelle wrote down my email address erroneously.

The company did a very good job. They arrived during the time-frame that was given to me. The company uses a mixing truck to transport the sealer, and uses a two-man team to apply the sealer. Sealer is applied by hand. It took them about 15 minutes to complete my driveway. The company gave me a discount on the job because my neighbor decided to get his driveway resealed, and also extended the discount to my neighbor. Bottom line, they did good job - I will use them again.

There are no don'ts -- only do's. An excellent company that knows their business well....

A flyer came in the mail addressed to a neighbor who had moved away. I figured if a neighbor used the company it was probably reliable and I was willing to try someone new to get the gutters cleaned. I spoke with someone at the office who gave me an estimate of $135.00 to clean gutters on both stories. He asked whether any of the gutters had guards and explained the if the guards couldn't be removed those gutters could not be cleaned. He said the team would come sometime during the following week weather permitting. A team of I believe 3 men arrived and introduced themselves as the gutter cleaners. I told them I thought the top gutters had guards but couldn't remember if the guards were removable. I made sure the outdoor faucet was open and then the team got to work and speedily cleaned all the gutters top and bottom and carefully cleaned up and removed the debris . One of the guys explained that he is usually able to slide a hose under a gutter guard's corner to wash away the debris. I was very happy with the care they took to clean the gutters and to make sure any dirt that sprayed out was washed off the house's exterior.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

I have used this company in the past. While I was out of town, Collegiate Sealers sealed my driveway so that when I returned the coating was ready to drive on. When I returned, there was no evidence they had been there other than a freshly coated driveway and yellow tape protecting the entrance. There was no damage to plants, no ruts in the lawn, no trash, etc. An excellent job, as expected because that is how they performed on earlier servicings.

I called to schedule the sealing and the owner (I think he was the owner) told me that it was getting colder and that it might be better to wait until spring to make sure the sealant cured properly. He told me that the driveway needed to get direct sun this time of year to fully dry and cure especially near the garage doors. I had called another company the day before and they wanted to come out right away even thought it was only going to be a high of 45 degrees during the day and freezing at night. I asked that other company about temperature issues and was told it was warm enough. I was pretty sure this wasn't the case and he was more interested in my money than doing a good job. So I asked my neighbor who she had just used and got the referral for Collegiate Sealers. After discussing the weather forecast with them and having them look up my address on google earth to see which way my driveway faced to see how much sun it was getting we agreed that is would probably be warm enough the following week as temperatures were supposed to go up almost 60. The team that came out was professional and efficient. I was happy with the service and their price was the lowest I've seen.

We have a pipestem driveway, and needed to coordinate with our neighbors. Collegiate was super to work with and very patient. They used an eco-friendly sealant, and were happy to do that at my request. Our neighbors were very happy with the results, just as we were! They are ahead of the market, being very receptive to the eco-friendly requests. They were also a lot less expensive than the other estimates that I had gotten.

The only glitch we had was due to the weather. We were scheduled to have it done originally on 30 Oct 12 but because of the pending Hurricane Sandy, it was postponed. Because of the coolness of the weather after that date coupled with their schedule being booked solid, it took until 20 Nov 12 to get it done. However, they arrived on-time in the AM, worked hard through the process and left us with a top quality driveway! It looks very professionally done and I would both use them again in a minute and recommend them to everyone!

The work was performed according to their description. We were extremely satisfied.

It was ridiculously easy. Arranged date over phone, left payment outside. Sealers arrived early on scheduled date, provided professional service, driveway looks great.

I initially called Collegiate Sealers for an estimate since I have an older driveway. They came out and told me I was not eligible for the "gold" (hot crack filler) service because it was not appropriate for my driveway needs. THey suggested the regular service for a few years before replacing the driveway. I appreciated their honesty. After the estimate for regular service, I scheduled an apprt. They showed up as planned, did the job quickly, efficiently and professionally, and the small crew was able to converse easily with me. THey put down the sealant by hand and smoothed it with a large squeegee. Although I received a brochure about Collegiate sealers, I went to Angie's list to see their grade and reviews...and the sealers high scores and favorable reviews made me call just them. It was a good decision.

Called Collegiate for sealing our driveway. Their service was suppose to include sealing cracks and I told the guy that this is what was needed. I also told him we needed a nice clean cut edge on the sides. Needless to say, we got neither of the two requests fulfilled. Although I have to say he did do a nice job of applying the coat on the center of the driveway. Disappointed I called Collegiate and spoke to John. They came the next day and rectified everything to my satisfaction which is why they get top marks! Thank you Collegiate. See you next time!
