Collegiate did great work, sealer was spread by hand very evenly without a single splatter or drip outside of the driveway surface. Upon completion they staked up tape to keep anyone from driving on the surface until dry (24-48 hrs). The price for the work, $75, was outstanding based on the care and quality of the completed job. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

After they had sealed the driveway, we had a torrential downpour which caused the sealant to splash all over the brand new garage door and trim and washed away quite a bit of the sealant on the driveway. We contacted Collegiate informing them of what had happened and were pleasantly surprised by their responsiveness. A crew was sent out to redo the drive, and the owner personally came out and painted the trim, cleaned all of the sealant off the garage door and cement. We couldn't have been more pleased with their response.

Collegiate did a fantastic job. Driveway looks great. They recommended moving an existing drain to take care of water on driveway that created a huge pool of water. Water now drains faster off driveway. The result was beautiful and they came back a year later to seal coat at no extra cost. I got three bids and this was the lowest.

They were good. The experience went very well. They got back to me and set up an appointment. They were here on time and did what they needed to do. There were no problems. Their price was very reasonable. I am very happy with the driveway. They were quick to do the job.

They do a very good job. They also do my gutters every spring and fall and every couple of years they just lay tar down on my driveway. I find them very reasonable. My driveway looks fine. They are very quick and efficient. I like their pricing and they come when they are supposed to. I call them in the morning and they verified the time. They showed up and did the work. I just gave them a check so it was quite easy. I haven't really priced them out but convenience is the key to me. Someone people may want their driveway tarred a little thinker but it seems sufficient for me. If there are cracks they can use some sort of filler but I just don't do it because my cracks aren't that major and my driveway looks fine. I had the gutters cleaned this past fall and it cost me $85.

We found some pieces of asphalt in our mulch and flower bed that is located next to our driveway but other than that, they did a very good job. They got some asphalt on the sidewalk, but cleaned that up before they left. Overall, a very good experience from the scheduling all the way through to the completion of the project. Will likely use again when the driveway needs to be sealed again.

Two neighbors and I needed new asphalt driveways. After consulting Angie's List, I recommend Collegiate Sealers and Paving. Dan provided bids for the three of us and my neighbor contacted another contractor to obtain a competitive bid. It was about 15% lower but I wanted to use Collegiate. My neighbor contacted Dan and he offered a 10% discount if we did the three driveways at the same time. We signed the contracts and were contacted soon after by Shawn who worked with the three of us to schedule the work. Larry and his team arrived this morning and all three jobs were completed by early afternoon. I was very impressed with their work and the finished results. I gladly recommend Collegiate Sealing and Paving to you.

The cracks are still there and are even worse than before. We initially told them we would not pay until the work was fixed or corrected. They then said that they would have someone come out to inspect the work and see what needed to be fixed. They came without notification and informed us that everything was fine from their perspective. To avoid dragging the process out, I went ahead and approved payment to the company but they then came after me personally for collection (for money they had already received). I would not use this company or recommend them due to poor workmanship and customer service.

Our driveway looks FABULOUS! Neighbors even complimented us on the driveway and, of coarse, wanted to know WHO sealed it!! We will ALWAYS use Collegiate and hopefully our entire neighborhood!

We have a 419 sq. foot driveway. The company was very responsive with an estimate and we had to wait for HOA approval before committing to a date. Once the approval was received, they were able to schedule us within about 3 weeks. We got a call 2 days before the scheduled work. They had a cancellation and wondered if we would like the work done a day early. They arrived at 8:06 am and left at 11:30. They workmanship and clean-up was excellent. They crew was very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Great service, great price. I live in Bethesda, and they are in our area Mondays and Wednesdays only. But they beat the price for any of the other Mont Co sealers I got a bid from - some by several hundred dollars. The job was easy - didn't have to be home for it... they just left the bill on the door and I sent in a check. They did a fantastic job - the driveway looks brand new, and I will definitely use them again. Wish all jobs for the house went this smoothly!

Originally, the work was scheduled for Thursday, April 3rd but the threat of rain cause them to delay until Saturday, April 5th. I was originally told the crew would be here after 8 AM. I called at 10 AM to check on the status and was told the crew would be at my residence at noon. They finally showed up at 4 PM. Although they seemed to rush, the work was satisfactory and I feel I got what I paid for. Because it is a new driveway I would have preferred a thicker coat of sealant because the new asphalt is sucking up the sealant.

I got a new asphalt driveway in the spring of 2013. I let it cure for seven months. Collegiate Sealers did the sealing job. They were fast, efficient, and value priced. I did not check with any other companies.

Workers arrived and left on time, did the job well, left property clean and neat. Office staff courteous on the phone, and very professional and understanding when I had to reschedule 3 times due to my unforeseen issues that were my issues, not theirs (family in town on short notice, etc.)

Went great, but that was about five years ago. I plan to use them in 2014 for another resealing, since I had my driveway removed and completely replaced by another firm in 2012 and it is time to reseal it.

They have always done a good job. They just call when it is time to do it and then we schedule it a week and we don’t have to be here except the driveways they say a day as we have to move the cars. It is very easy to get things done. Then they just leave a bill and we just pay it which is nice.

They were on time and finished work quickly and the final product was completed carefully. One negative point I can mention was the fact that the workers stepped on my grass with sealer on their boots, which left my grass stained with sealer until it eventually grew out. I guess I could have provided them with a cardboard to step on. Something to consider the next time I get my driveway sealed.
