Our experience with Century Siding has led us to refer a number of neighbors, friends and family members to their company. Company President, Mr. Kim was professional, prompt, and spent a long time with us to respond to all of our questions. The work was accomplished in a timely manner. Site supervisor, Danny, was a craftsman, paying close attention to the smallest detail. We were thrilled with the end result and have had numerous compliments from neighbors and even real estate agents. In addition to new insulated siding, Century Siding wrapped all exposed wood throughout the exterior of our home and installed a new beaded ceiling on our front porch. The company took special care in installing new siding around an octagonal-shaped window. If we ever have a need for siding in the future, we will call Century Siding.

Our house had several areas of painted wood around the eaves of roofs and elsewhere. We wanted the areas repaired and vinyl siding installed over the wood or in the spaces where the wood had been. We checked with Angie's List and other sites and found Century Siding. The representative came to our home and measured the areas to be wrapped with vinyl. He gave us an estimate that was lower than other companies. We okayed the project and two men came within two days to perform the work. They worked steadily with very few breaks and completed the work within three days. The workmanship was excellent and looked just as we had hoped. The vinyl remains looking good and we remain happy with Century Siding. As an aside, we understand that the workers are contract workers and are paid by the number of pieces installed. Normally, we prefer workers employed by the specific company, but there was no downside to this situation in our project.

The whole project took about 5 days. They called me with a start date, showed up daily until the job was complete. They are a very nice company to work with. In fact, they will be here tomorrow to replace my gutters.

We were having an issue with the windows that were installed. We had a warranty so we called and they were quick in getting to our home. They took care of the issue at no cost. We are happy with their service.

The estimate for both front and back was done in a timely manner, and then the owner came back to give an estimate for just the front. The workers worked hard and were very polite and eager to please. It took a little longer than projected, and I think they might have been working on another job as well. However, the time frame for completion was reasonable. There seemed to be a breakdown in communication in that the job supervisor was not aware of the extra items, e.g., dryer vent and chimney repair, until I mentioned those.

The project went beautifully! Mr. Kim responded promptly to my initial call, provided a very reasonable estimate, was patient and straightforward in answering all of my questions and was knowledgable about the inadvisability of using aluminum trim on the carport's pressure-treated support posts. Then, Dennis and his crew were consummate professionals as they installed the siding. They were polite, helpful, hard-working, detail-oriented, and cleaned up after themselves. Dennis gave me helpful advice about choosing new lighting for the carport and about what to do about the old, rusted trim that had been installed around the bottom of the support posts. After they finished the job, I noticed that one of the screen doors that they had framed closed more slowly than before. I called in the afternoon and they appeared first thing very next morning to make the adjustments needed for the door to again close quickly. The end result is absolutely gorgeous--a vast improvement over our old painted surface. I VERY HIGHLY recommend this company!

I will never do busy with a company with someone screaming and yelling. It was just misunderstanding about the work. The owner was the one doing the screaming and yelling. They were not listening to what I wanted. What they did do was pretty well.

I greatly appreciated the owner taking the time to discuss options and different materials that could be use. He provided a very fair estimate. Overall, the workmanship was of high quality and the installation went very well. Very pleased and would recommend him to my family and friends.

Fantastic experience overall -- quick estimate that was on the lower end of estimates we received, and once the proposal was accepted they started work within a few days. The house looks great, and the crew was quick to come back out and correct one small problem area.

Arrived on time for estimate, in fact he was early. Work began actually earlier than we had planned and took the 3 days that they said it would take. Workers were on time, courteous, cleaned up every day.

The rake board came off in high winds. We contacted 3 contractors. Century gave the best quote and was very responsive in getting the work done. They were professional and timely. We would definitely use them in the future.

Not very happy with the new windows. These new windows fog up the old windows did not fog up at all.These windows don't function as well as they should. When I called to ask about the windows, the service provider says its the changes temperatures in the house that are causing the issues.

They did a good job and the price was right, and they were good at following up with small problems that cropped up afterward. They were the best estimate we got as well.

We looked on Angie's List and found three different companies that gave us estimates. They came out and installed our shutters, gutters and put new siding up. We were very happy with them.

Called and made an appt to get an estimate for having all our exposed wood surfaces covered with aluminum. We already have aluminum siding so this was to cover our soffits, eves, fascia and under the porch ceiling in aluminum. Owner came by while I was at work to give us an estimate. He called me to verify everything we wanted him to do and explain what he had found and provide recommendations. He left a professional estimate that covered everything we had asked for. It was raining off and on throughout the month we wanted the work done and they were very flexible with scheduling our install around the rainy days. I called three times to push off the install when it looked like we might get rain. They were very accommodating and agreed to all my requested changes with no problems The work crew showed up on time and had the job completed in 2 days like they said they would. Workers were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use this company again

The service went very well except for rain delays. Mr. Kim promptly provided a detail quote, which he explained in detail. The crew called to arrange the start date. The crew did an excellent job and cleaned up the worksite each day. We were pleased with the improved appearance of our house.

I was impressed the owner came out to measure etc. and come up with an estimate. I had a $500 coupon and he gave me 10% off which was greater than the coupon's value.The work was beautifully done, quality and materials top notch. I'm glad to say they were better than I expected and I had not one negative comment or critique about anything they did.I was impressed they require no money down and nothing due until you're happy with the job. Now that's amazing nowadays.Professional and quality...what a nice mixture.

They were responsive and accommodating from my first estimate request to the final installation. The work was completed on time and with excellent quality.

They were very nice and did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. This is the second time I've hired them for work and both times we were very satisfied with them.

They are very good except that they don’t come back once they are done with the job. I tried to get them to come because I had a piece of flashing that became loose after a windstorm and I couldn’t get them to come up. I had this done in 2003, but they are still around in this area.

Everything was excellent. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they would do it.

Outstanding service from the beginning. Mr. Kim, the President of Century Siding came out and gave us an estimate. We liked him immediately because he was very informative and didn't try to oversell us for what we had asked for when we first contacted his company. We got three additional estimates to make sure we going with the best company. After receiving the other estimates we decided we wanted to upgrade slightly from what we had originally wanted. Mr. Kim came back out and went over the new siding (4" vs. 7") and we went forward from there. The crew, with Danny as the foreman, replaced 21 windows on the first day. They were efficient, clean and very thorough. They worked six days a week from 9am to 6pm and made sure the lawn and work area were cleaned up daily. Danny's crew was very professional and worked very hard. We cannot say enough good things about this company. Not only did we feel comfortable with Mr. Kim and his knowledge from the first day he came out to give us an estimate, but his crew was as professional as he was. Mr. Kim also gave us the best price of all the estimates we received. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for this type of service.

Mr. Kim provided an estimate on June 5, 2011. He was very thorough and explained everything well including those things his company cannot fix or repair. I was particularly impressed Mr. Kim left an estimate with us, as this had not been our experience with other estimates. All other companies left the premises and then provided estimates days or even weeks later. After reviewing several estimates we settled on Century Siding. While not the least expensive option, they had the most to offer for the price and excellent reviews. I contacted Century Siding and signed the contract on July 27th, 2011. I was told it would be a few weeks while the parts were ordered, which all-in-all took a solid 4 weeks. I was contacted to schedule the week before labor day and was asked to start the day before labor day weekend. I declined as I would be out of town and had no intention of allowing such work to start on my home in my absence. At that time I also indicated a specific week in September that would not be good. I also indicated I would need at least several days or a week advance notice to get warranted gutters removed by another company. We went several more weeks without a call. When it did come in, it was only a few days notice and for the same week in September I had already indicated as bad. More time slipped by and another call came in on a Monday, the crew wanted to start on Tuesday. By some miracle I was able to get the gutter company to come out that same Monday afternoon and decided to let the work begin. As luck would have it, rain; a lot of rain. While I did not expect the crew to arrive and start work, I never received a phone call or any indication work would be delayed. When I phoned the company, I was told the crew was loading the truck and would be out to start work. No one ever showed until Thursday when the rain subsided. Still no call. I came home in the afternoon and found the old siding removed and most of the house wrap installed. More rain. Rain through the weekend. Kind of halted work. The following Monday the crew was back and completed the work within a few days. The total work time was about 4 days. In the end the quality of the installation appears very well done and I can only find one or two minor things I would have like to have seen done differently but none of them show-stoppers by any means. The crew cleaned up the best they could but the ground and planting beds were so wet from the rain, it really hampered cleanup efforts. I do wish the crew had been a little kinder to my planting beds but everything will bounce back. Overall I would say the job was well done and professional. When I did see the crew they were courteous and well mannered. I would have appreciated a little contact along the way from the office to talk about delays and intentions. To this day, no one has phoned or asked if I have any questions or problems. I think they need to work a little bit on communication skills. Overall score: Very good.

We are very pleased with the results. The project went smoothly, the workers were friendly, courteous, and professional, and the price was right. Attention to detail, cleanliness, quality, etc., were all great. They stood out during the sales process as well. There were no sales gimmicks, and we learned more in 30m with their sales rep than we did from the 3 previous companies' visits combined. The only point of concern was timeliness. The work was delayed on day 1 due to suppliers not coming through. By the end of day 3 everything was done except for the gutters/downspouts and shutters. The gutters/downspouts came the next day, but the shutters not for 2 weeks. In the end it was not a problem, but more communication would have helped a lot. Day 4 was just before the arrival of Hurricane Irene, and we were concerned the gutters wouldn't go up in time. (They did.) We had to call and ask for updates multiple times. Anyway, that's a minor complaint. We would definitely hire Century again. They even fixed a window frame for us. And they worked through the earthquake. That's a sign of good fortune, right?
