In the back they put the siding on the wrong side. I complained to the installer and later to the owner and they said that the siding was installed properly and I would get used to it. The way the siding was installed it didn't look right at all.

We got estimates from six companies and they were the most competitive. We felt also they were the most experienced to do the job. They arrived at the time they said. They installed light fixtures at no extra charge. They cleaned up well.

I could not be more pleased. They were timely, very professional and completed the job in one day. The work was outstanding and they did a total cleanup after the job. I plan to use them again when I replace the remaining windows after my remodel. Mr. Kim and company are worth doing business with.

It is hard to find a variety of colors for shutters. Century siding has about 19 colors to choose from and also the neutral ones that can be painted. They did a fantastic job and gave me 10 single space references to call about them. We had a fire across the street and they re-sided the trim that was damaged. Everything is holding up beautifully. They were able to match the colors in our home owners' association's palette. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mr. Kim was very professional and able to work with our schedule, estimating numerous options for us to choose from. Price, workmanship, workers' manner, were all good and punctuality was pretty good. The work was completed over a period of 5 days (3 1/2 days of work, one day skipped due to rain). One disappointment was in cleanup. Bulk cleanup was fine, but the work was done in early November, and a considerable number of leaves fell over the few days they were here. This made judging detailed cleanup difficult without yard work, for me and perhaps also for Century. Raking up after they left, my family and I found bits of debris under the leaves ranging from the minor - chips of wood and vinyl siding - to sharp corners of aluminum trim, a rusted downspout bracket (lawn mower killer), nails both from the old siding tear-down and new installation, and a utility knife blade. In hindsight, I would not necessarily choose a different contractor. I did walk-arounds frequently and saw the workmanship that went in from beginning to end and found it consistently good. I found zero problems with the windows; everything was done as Mr Kim described it with no re-work needed. Aesthetically, everything looks great. The one thing I would do differently, and recommend regardless of whose estimate you are hearing, is to ask both: "what kinds of debris will this work generate?" and "how much of it do you clean up, and how?"

It was very good. They kept me informed of what was happening. They showed up when they said they would and took as long as they said they would. They were easy to deal with and they returned my calls. The house looks great.

I am somewhat satisfied with the job they did, not 100% satisfied, just somewhat. I think we are seeing problems with the roof about a year after they did the work where they hammered in the jacks. There may have been a little damage there. But, the work that they did was OK.

We interviewed 5 companies and it came down to Century and Creative Windows. Century had a bit lower price and quoted us better windows (Simonton 5500 vs Alside Excaliburs). Both had excellent reviews and were very professional, courteous etc. during their presentations. Of all the people we had do estimates, Mr Kim was the only one to specifically identify rotted wood that needed replacement. Century also would install almost any siding/window we could find, they were not limited to 1 or 2 manufacturers. Went with Century. They started right when they said - about 4 weeks after we signed the contract. Workers were on site at about 745 everyday and worked until about 7 PM. The first issues we had were that of the first 9 windows installed, I found issues with 6 of them, some very minor (e.g. rough caulking) to some more serious (e.g. double windows were uneven, defect in a bay window or some were very difficult to open). They fixed everything I found, except bay window as we're waiting on the distributor to come by (they did call). The problem was that I felt I really needed to check EVERYTHING because of these early missteps. The siding seemed to go up just fine and they were very attentive to replacing any rotted wood before covering with trim etc. The house looked like new when finished. The entire job took 6 days (Monday - Saturday). There are a couple of little things that I'm not completely happy about (e.g. they left windows on the lawn which ended up burning the grass and some trim work looked a bit "funny"), but all in all they did a real nice job. They did an excellent job of cleaning the worksite after each day and upon completion. In retrospect I wish someone would have pointed out that vinyl windows may look a bit funny in certain rooms of our house b/c there are no window treatments and they standout (i.e. I would have put wood or simulated wood windows in certain areas), but none of the 5 companies pointed that out and in the end that was my fault. The workers were very courteous and friendly and the foreman said if anything needs fixing at anytime - they'll do it. Hopefully we won't need to call them!

Mr. Kim quickly scheduled an appointment for an estimate and also came out quickly for a second visit when we requested he add two windows to the original estimate. He was very helpful in selecting the materials and explained in detail the work his company would perform. The work was scheduled promptly and was completed in less time than originally estimated. The quality of the installation was good and a few punch list items that were missed on the original installation were completed promptly, within the same week as the original installation. The team cleaned up the site each day and did a good job of containing the mess. I couldn't have been more pleased with the work and the professionalism of everyone I dealt with.

Mr Kim was very friendly and knowledgeable about his product and provided an excellent estimate. However, when I sent back the contract as an acknowledgment of service, I didn't get any response. I had to call them to get them to tell me it would be a couple of weeks before they could do the work. Several days later I arrived home to discover scaffolding in front of my house and a message on my answering machine indicating that they will be working on my house the next day. When I called, I was told that I did not need to be home for the workmen. When I got home after work, I discovered that to get to the back of my house, one of the workmen climbed over our privacy fence, opened the gate and dragged in his ladders and proceeded to work. Since I wasn't home, I didn't make any comment about that. However, when the gutter installer showed up a couple of days later to install the gutters, he spoke to my husband (who was home). A short time later, my husband watched in dismay as the installer proceeded to climb over our privacy fence, open the gate, pull in his ladder, slap them up against the second story deck and proceed to climb up. He never mentioned that he planned to do this, never asked for entrance to the back - nothing! I immediately called the company to report this incident. I was extremely angry - in addition to the standard consequences of those kinds of actions, we have a doberman that would gladly take the legs off of someone he didn't think belonged on his turf. The young man that took report agreed to talk to the installer, and that was the last I heard. I made comments on the critique sheet they included with the bill, but didn't hear anything back from that either. Because of these incidents, I gave them only fair marks for responsiveness and overall experience. In spite of the above issue, their work was excellent; everything looks wonderful, including the gutters. They were efficient and quiet, and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely hire them again should the need arise. Unfortunately, all that new vinyl makes my 20-year old aluminum siding look tacky!

The work was started promptly when promised and completed in 4 days. Mr Park and his crew started promptly at 8am and worked until 5:30pm each day. They worked very systematically and carefully and at a steady pace. The crew cleaned up at the end of each day. The siding looks very nice, the gutters work well and we are very pleased with the job. We recommend this company for siding and gutter installation.

It was a big job and they did it superbly with an efficient team. They seemed to know exactly what to do and when to do it - and paid attention to details. They did an excellent job cleaning up the debris as well. Their price was among the lowest I got of four estimates - and I did not have to pay one cent until the job was completely done. My only disappointment? The shrubs in front of my porch took a beating - I am hoping they will rebound. So, my only advice would be to urge to workers to be very careful around any plantings that might be in the work zone. Other than that - excellent job and I would highly recommend them.

They gave me a great price and did the job in only 2 days. They came out the first day and scraped off the old roof and laid the tar paper. Then the second day they installed the roof and cleaned up all the debris. They didn't even charge extra for the special surrounds needed for flashings on my roof.

Estimate was scheduled for 12:00, and I took off from work to be home for the estimate. At 11:45, I received a call saying that he would be late, but would be there, no later than 12:30. At 12:45, I called them back to cancel the appointment, so I could go back to work. The estimator ended up meeting my wife on her return at 3:00 pm! My wife talked to the estimator for a short while, and he was able to give a very competitive estimate, that prompted us to give them a second chance, however we decided to go with a different company, due to the problems we had getting the estimate.

The company did a great job replacing our roof and putting up new siding and gutters. Work was done on time, on budget and minor problems corrected quickly. They ordered the wrong siding (4") but quickly sent the wrong siding back and ordered the correct siding (5").

It took 2 weeks to get estimate, but Mr. Kim was most professional. He was our middle bid. His crew showed up on a Tuesday will all the scaffolding, ladders and equipment. They began the next morning and worked at least 10 hours everyday for a week. They kept the area clean and were most helpful with any questions I had. It took 5 days from start to finish. We are very pleased with the job and would recommend this company to our friends.

Got an estimate for window replacement based on reviews on Angie's List. Estimate performed by Mr. Kim, president/owner. Existing storm windows were poorly installed resulting in rotted window sills, and extensive wood rot existed on nearby surfaces that were painted when damp which sealed in moisture & rotted the wood. Rot was evident so this was not an attempt to sell more services than requested/needed. We were given separately and estimate for window replacement ($5K), & replacing rotted wood & capping all exposed wood surfaces ($3K). We were unaware that the company offered a 15% discount for winter work (ending March 31) and 10% for spring work (ending June 8). Had we known about the discounts, we would have gotten an earlier start & been able to visit their showroom.

Mr. Kim came to measure and give us an estimate, and he left us with numerous samples and suggestions so we could play with colors at our leisure. We came up. With many more questions so Mr. Kim came back a second time to "educate" us and make sure we were comfortable with this big decision. The installation supervisor, Mr. Lim, was skilled and personable, and he showed great care for details. For example, when he was covering the bathroom fan exhaust he discovered that it had been put in originally with no screening to keep out insects, so he took time to fix that oversight before continuing. We certainly felt our home was safe in his hands! The work took longer than originally scheduled but that was the fault of the weatherman, it rained on four days that the five-day outlook said would be dry. When the work was completed all debris had been cleaned and hauled, and our home looked wonderful.

We asked several of our neighbors and Century Siding had done their homes and they were very happy with the work. Mr. Kim visited our house, showed his products and explained the different options. My wife was very concerned about colors and style so we did not do a contract at that time. Because she was having trouble deciding on colors based on the small chips initially handed out, she visited the showroom and asked if there was anything bigger. Mr. Kim's assistant came back with six pieces of siding, each 15 inches in length. Now we could make a color selection. The roof was removed and replaced in a day. For the siding they called to let us know that they were delayed on a prior job due to weather. The siding, gutters, shutters and wrapping of the exposed wood took five days. They did not remove siding they could not replace the same day. All word was performed professionally and cleanly. They did not collect any money until the job was completed and we were satisfied.

They were just fantastic! During the estimate they provided me with three pages of references. My home is a three story townhouse which is high.

My overall experience was very positive. The work was done correctly as promised, and as expected. The 2 gentlemen that made up the ''crew'' were obviously experienced and proficient at installing siding, insulation, downspouts, and gutters. They were careful to install everything just right. I even saw them recut and reinstall pieces they were dissatisfied with. It took a little bit longer than expected, but that is fine when you understand that they are holding themselves to a very high standard of excellence. And it shows. The look is fabulous and makes our 1955 home look like new. They also installed 5 new hidden brackets with a large, difficult drill bit for our new window box at no additional charge to us. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE CONSIDERING HIRING FOR INSULATION UNDERNEATH SIDING, SIDING ITSELF, GUTTERS, DOWNSPOUTS, MOLDINGS AROUND WINDOWS, LIGHT FIXTURES, OUTLETS, CAULKING, ETC. They work very hard and are 100% professional.
