Description of Work: We had two Tabriz oriental rugs cleaned and sanitized (9x12 and 6x9). Both rugs came back within two weeks and they were much cleaner and in great condition. Pickup and delivery were courteous and helpful. I would definitely use Ayoub Carpet again for my other oriental rugs.

Description of Work: When we went to the Chantilly store to get an estimate, we thought it was great. The lady at the front desk told us that it would be approximately $800 (total, and we brought measurements) to replace the carpet in our rental condo (living room and hallway only). We thought that sounded reasonable, so we booked it. When I showed up at the condo for the salesman to measure, he told me it would be around $1300. $500 more than the original estimate seemed a little ridiculous to me. Unfortunately we had to still book for Ayoub to install because we had new renters moving in. This issue caused a huge problem between us and our former renters who paid to have the carpet replaced. They thought the price was unreasonable as well. In hind-site, I would have gotten quotes from multiple places.

We understand you being “sticker shocked.” However; the price that was quoted in our showroom was based on square footage that you provided us. When our associate came to your home to measure, there was a large difference between the estimated and actual square footage, which is why there was a large difference in the estimated price versus the actual price. We’re sorry that you were under a time crunch that didn’t allow you to shop around. If you had, you would have found our prices to be competitive with other showrooms for the same brand of carpet and the actual square footage. That being said, Ayoub doesn’t end our relationship with our client after the installation of new carpet. We are here to professionally clean your carpet and keep it looking “Like-New” for years to come. A sales associate will contact you today to offer you a cleaning gift certificate of $200 to go towards the cleaning of the carpet when the current tenants move out to help offset the unexpected price difference.
