Although I was impressed initially, soon into the work there were significant delays and Atlantic Tile (Dennis and Antonio) abandoned the project and failed to communicate any further.

We reached out to multiple contractors to get quotes for a kitchen remodel for our townhouse. This company gave us the best quote. Although they didn't have any reviews here yet, we decided to take a chance. We are very glad that we did! The remodel went very well and we are extremely happy with the results. Atlantic Tile had to deal with a small, cramped space, and they had a lot of good design recommendations to deal with it. Additionally, they turned out to be good at adjusting plans when reality interferes. We had to deal with a change about halfway through the project when they found an HVAC duct where we had been planning to knock down a wall. With Dennis's help we altered the design slightly, and it actually REDUCED the price of the project, while still opening up the kitchen like we wanted. The one caution I would give is that their schedule was kind of crazy. We thought they would be working from 8am-5pm weekdays, but a lot of times they were here late into the evening. A couple times they even worked on Saturday. The job was done in four weeks, so the timeline itself wasn't an issue. It did become a challenge when they stayed late, however, because our townhouse community has very limited parking. Overall I would still give them an A because we were very happy with the end product, and Dennis was very responsive and good at interpreting what we wanted. They also sent their project manager back out a few days after when we thought we had damage on one of the appliances. (It turned out to be nothing but a missing lightbulb.) We will probably contact them again if we ever decide to tile the bathrooms. This company was a great deal! UPDATE - 1/27/2021: We were initially pleased with the look of the remodel, but over time problems came up. We noticed the floor tiles popping out of the grout early on. Given that these are stone tiles, that creates a trip hazard as well as exposing sharp pieces of grout to scrape your feet on. We put up with this for a while but finally contacted the contractor in late 2020. We made an appointment for them to take a look before Christmas. They never showed. We contacted them again after Christmas, someone finally came out, and we never heard from them again. We tried to follow up several times, warning them that if hey did not respond we would contact Angie’s List, but we still don’t have an estimate from them for the necessary fix. Meanwhile, I’ve had two other contractors take a look. One quoted us $1200 to re-install the subfloor and install tiles (that cost does t include tiles.) The other hasn’t sent a quote yet, but they were talking about needing to rip out all the cabinets and move the appliances in order to re-lay the floor properly. Either way it will cost a lot of money and cause us major inconvenience to address this. Further research into this company on other platforms, including BBB, as well as more recent reviews on this one suggest a highly suspicious enterprise, or at least an unreliable one. We knew it was a risk to choose the cheapest bid: you get what you pay for. And if you want something done right, you have to put in the time and money up front. We have learned that the hard way. Don’t make the same mistake we did! Other more minor issues that came up after install: Piece of crown molding fell off top of cabinet. (We glued it back on.) Granite counter is uneven where the two granite pieces join, leaving a dangerous sharp edge running from the lip of the counter to the wall. One of the cabinet door hinges was not properly installed and the cabinet door doesn’t close Grout is also coming out of the backsplash where it meets the counter.

Stay away from this company. They are dishonest, do not care about you the customer ( unless you are writing a check) and the quality is horrible. Check out the Yelp reviews and other places. You will regret hiring these people. We had a simple 3-4 week bathroom remodeling job that has taken 3 months and is not complete and they have no desire to complete as they have our money, Pretty much everything from tile to plumbing has been re-done 2-3 times as they do not have true craftsmen on their payroll but hire "warm bodies" to do "something". They will destroy adjacent areas in your home ( and blame you for it), door poor quality installations, use/steal your tools, not communicate with you as they should and ultimately just demand more money. The company appears to be on the brink of bankruptcy from post I have seen elsewhere.

Late or no-show on a daily basis. Wife liked the designer, did a great job on that aspect. Everything else went downhill with the execution. They demo workers used our personal vacuum to clean up, contractors used to cut tile left a mess on our driveway and cars, days they said would work never came or bothered to call. Stay clear of this company, poor quality and value of clients time.

Terrible. Run from these guys. Here is my recently posted Yelp review: These guys are awful. They took 1/3 deposit of a $82,000 job in early September 2019, another 1/3 deposit a few weeks later after demolition and then couldn't give us a date for the cabinets coming in. They finally admitted they used our deposits for other jobs, couldn't order the cabinets because they were having cash problems and blew past the target of finishing by Thanksgiving of 2019, finally finishing the job the last week of April 2020! I forced them to sign a waiver and agreed to non-disparagement if they gave us a sizable discount and finished the few items left in touch-up. We got the discount, but after reaching out twice to Dennis asking for them to come back for the finish touch-ups, no response. I ordered the missing/incorrect items myself and hired a company to take care of the finish items. [NEW] They tell you they have their own in house workers, but they use subcontractors. In actuality, the subcontractors were excellent, it is the Atlantic company that is awful. Do not believe a word they tell you. At one meeting, I complimented Dennis on his new Mercedes, to which he replied, everyone in my family drives Mercedes, nothing else. I now know how they can afford them. There are hundreds of honest contractors out there, steer clear of these guys. They deserve an F minus.

Pamela and Dennis helped us redesign our kitchen and master bath. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and honest about the process, outlining each step for us in writing. They offered great ideas for ways to give our kitchen a more modern look using the space we have. Pamela took time to help us pick out our tile, cabinets, countertop, and backsplash and went over 3D drawings and the contract, while we enjoyed their Turkish coffee, cookies, and candy! I look forward to posting before and after pictures when the work is complete!

Sent SOW to a number of contractors (via Angie's List), including Atlantic, for floor replacements in two bathrooms in a rental property. The SOW mentioned additional add-on work of three full bath remodels in my primary residence for later in the spring/summer. For both jobs, I communicated that I would be providing tiles, toilets, cabinets, and mirrors while I expected the vendor to provide labor and construction related materials. Heard from Atlantic via email (still have if you would like to see) almost 4-6 weeks after the "request for quote" was posted. They blamed the delay on an issue with getting email via Angie's List. They inquired and requested an appointment about the additional add-on work. Given I understand the delay was due to an issue beyond their control, I scheduled a meeting with Atlantic, The representative showed up late for the appointment; we toured the house reviewing the detailed SOW for the job. I also showed him the materials (e.g., tile, custom cabinets, etc) that were stored in my garage. The gentlemen took pictures, thanked me for the detailed information I provided and told me he would provide me a quote for the documented scope within a week. When I did not hear from him after two weeks, I called him. He answered and he apologized for not keeping his word. He told me that he would get me the quotes by the next day. That was about 3-4 months ago thus my ratings.
