Fine. They were very responsive, did a good job, and charged a fair price.

Contractor returned my call withing a day or so. We agreed on the work and the price and just had to wait for a good weather window to do the work. The first date that was scheduled had to be canceled due to weather. The work was done within a week or so of that initial date. Contractor kept in touch with me to let me know of the delays. The work was done to my satisfaction.

Mike came out to the house and left an estimate of the work to be done a day after I first contacted the company. I called back, accepted the estimate, and we agreed on the day the work would begin. They didn't show up the day that work was to begin. After I placed a phone call late in the day, Mike returned the call to say they got held up at another job site. The deck was pressure cleaned the following day. The sealing and lattice repair work was done 4 days later. The seal is a little difficult to detect, but I looked carefully and the wood was darker possibly indicating a sealer was applied. After observing rainfall on the deck, water doesn't bead like with sealers that I've applied. The lattice work looks kind of sloppy and unattractive. They claimed that they sanded the top rail, but I can't detect any evidence of that. When I complained, Mike did remove the $25 estimated charge for the sanding. All in all, I can do a better job myself for much less.

Called Mike the week my house was to be shown for the first time. He delivered a very reasonable estimate the same day. Did the work the next day. Finished sealing three days later (the weather was not exactly cooperative). He communicated very well and is very pleasant to deal with. Moved the furniture and grills on and off the deck. Cleaned extra decking between the deck and the garage that we did not discuss.

Excellent. I set up the appointment with Mike on the phone and told him my square footage. He gave me the price based on those measurements. He came together with the team a couple of days later, and stayed for the first 15 minutes to make sure everything was set up correctly. The guy who cleaned the deck was VERY thorough -- he must have taken 2 hours to clean the deck! After a few (dry) days, the same person returned to seal the deck, which did not take long at all. I sent my check in after the job was done. I was very happy with the work

Mike was easy to talk to. He dropped by quickly for the first estimate of cleaning and staining exterior. They did high quality work. It was a little difficult to get a response from him about scheduling exterior work since it was late in the season. I would have liked for him to contact me more often about updates on scheduling.

It was a smooth and easy process to get the quote. Mike is very helpful and came out to give us a quote. I was very happy with the work.

Very professional. Mike called and told me when he would come out for the estimate. He called me back with the estimate. Then when I agreed to have the work done he gave me a date they would be out to do the work. When there was a delay, he called ahead of time to give me notice and re-scheduled. They came out on the agreed date and did an excellent job.

The work was very good, all of my decks look like new again!

I love working with Mike because he is always prompt about returning my calls and if we don't connect, he will always leave me a message with pertinent information. I do the same, and that way the job can advance without a lot of waiting between calls. Time between work scheduled and job done is always less than a week.

The job looked good except that it appears they missed an area when sealing the side of my deck. Also, the pressure washer blew water and dirt under my back door and flooded my kitchen floor. I consider this my own fault for not placing a towel under the door to block the water.

I called and left a message, and Mike got back to me the next day. He gave me an estimate over the phone, and was able to schedule the cleaning when it complied with my schedule. The worker that showed up didn't speak English, so it was a little difficult to communicate with him, but when the work was complete, I was satisfied. I can't comment on the price, since I didn't call any other companies. I chose this company based on the number and type of comments from the list.

Just fine. Got two quotes. American Power Clean was a little lower than the other. Mike very professional in providing an estimate and getting work underway. Jose did a very good job and redid areas of garage where inner rust or dust had dripped after washing.

The crew was punctual and arrived when scheduled. There was a small mix up and the crew had to leave for a little bit, but it had no impact on us or our schedules. They finished in a few hours and the house looked great. I was particularly pleased with the deck and sidewalk as it made a 100% difference. The mildew and pollen was completely cleaned from the deck and we can now enjoy it again. The sidewalk looks fantastic as well. All the mildew/moss is out of from between the bricks and the sidewalk looks new again. We will definitely use them again next cleaning.

Please see the entry above. Mike alternated between sending one man to do the power washing, one man to do the sanding, and a team to do the sealing. All were polite and hard working. They took pains not to get any of the sealant on the timber tech flooring.

Made all of the arrangements over the phone with no hassle. The job was done promptly and correctly.

Excellent. Mike came promptly to give estimate, and scheduled work within a week. He also came out with crew to get work started, and crew was friendly and seemed very competent. Weather delayed sealing stage of work, but Mike rescheduled that within a few days.

Excellent job by the crew. Everything looks great! They even washed and sealed a wooden picnic table that I had on the deck at no additional cost. The deck is more than twenty years old and looks almost like new! The high pressure spray damaged two window screens that had been previously weakened by the last wash job, but the company got the screens repaired and we agreed to split the cost, a very fair deal considering the condition of the screens when they started. I would strongly recommend Mike and his team for any similar work.

We are very satisfied with the work that was done. The power washing was done early in the week, and a few days later they came to seal the deck. We were not home at the time, and did not realize the deck had been sealed, although we wondered because we found a business card tucked in our door. The next day we had a heavy rain and so much water pooled on the deck that I called Mike and asked that they come to seal the deck. He called me back and said they had sealed it, and that I should do the "hose test" to see if water would bead up on the deck. It did in some places and not in others, so he offered to come out and do a second coat because he remembered our deck was very dry. A few days later that was done, and it looks great. I appreciated his professional attitude and the determination to do the job right.

Performed work as scheduled. Worked around items on deck, didn't have to move grill or patio furniture. They did a great job, the deck looks really good. I would recommend them to anybody.

Company called back promptly, was able to do the estimate when I was not home. They were delayed a day by weather, which altered their ongoing work, but let me know and rescheduled. Did a fabulous job cleaning my deck and repairing several rotten boards. The deck looks like new, and they were careful to skirt around plants and left them undamaged.

My inquiry was responded to quickly, and the work was scheduled in a timely manner. The decks looked like new after the pressure washing, and they came back a week later to seal the decks. The process was explained well, all my questions were answered, my needs as far as not having to be present were accommodated. The job was very well done in all aspects and I would highly recommend this company.

This is our 2nd year using them after getting them from Angie's List. They are head and shoulders about anyone else we have ever used. Both times, they've exceeded what I thought was covered by clearing our railings and posts and outside of the deck as well as deck furniture. They couldn't be better.

They were very professional. Calls were returned in a timely manner. Questions and options were discussed and the work was done on time and met my expectations. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

One worker came to do washing, and he spoke almost no English. He understood the work, however, and I was able to explain with only some effort where extra cleaning was needed. Washing was done with relatively low pressure and a mild bleach-based detergent. After the cleaning, the deck looked almost new - all of the staining and green algae-stains were removed from the floor, and both sides of the railings, benches and stairway. The wood was not damaged in any way by the washing. I was very pleased with this result, only requesting the worker to hammer down the deck nails with heads sticking out. A different worker came to do the staining today, and he arrived and left without speaking to me. The sealing is generally thorough, but there are a couple of bare spots that were not covered that I will ask Mike to send someone back to do. The protruding nails were not hammered down, which I will also request again. Assuming these concerns are addressed, I am happy.
