Went great - I was very happy with price and quality. I'll use them again in 2 years to redo both decks once more.

We were very satisfied with the entire experience. They came to the house the next day when an estimate was requested. We selected a date, we were surprised to have a knock at the door at 7:30 AM. very good experience, we will use this company again in the future.

The best service I've had in 22 years. Jose was outstanding.

I called in late March for an estimate. Mid April the owner came out and left a estimate in my door. I called to arrange the date to do the work and also mentioned all of my concerns about the work. I was told no later than Mid May for the work to commence. Mid May came and due to weather, I was told the work would begin the 2nd of June. I called to see if I could get the 1st of June and he agreed. I moved all the patio furniture inside the night before. June 1st came and I get a phone call, the super on the job had to be called away due to a family issue. The owner asked if he could change the start date to the 8th. I agreed, though we would be out of town, I really had no options except to either extend the waiting or get it over with. The deck was finally powerwashed on the 8th. It looked clean and no damage was done to the grill left out or the flowers in the planters. I expected them to come back on the 10th, I called to confirm and was told, no they would not be there, the had other jobs to do.It was then the owner mentioned to me what color did I want for the stain, I was surprised this came about so late in the game, we had already discussed matching the existing color. So I went to a few paint stores to get color cards to pick a color, something I expected the professional to do. He told me to pick a water based stain, I did. I called him with the color selection, he told me that he thought an oil based stain was a better idea for my deck. So we finally settled on an oil based color. And the following week they scheduled me in. I believe it was about 5 days later when they came to stain. They helped me move our heavy patio table inside along with the grill. I was concerned about the small propane tank on the grill coming inside our house for a few days, and the owner told me that the super would remove it and leave it outside, however the super assured me nothing to worry about and moved the whole thing inside. They moved the planters down to the ground below. I was expecting some sanding to be done with a power sander as the owner led me to believe, however when I mentioned sanding to the super, he pulls out a few pieces of sand paper and does a quick job of it. Staining started quickly and I had to remind the super to hammer down the nail pops which he forgot to do. Again they did a very quick job of it and missed a few. The staining went well, though they left drips on our deck lights. I mentioned this to the owner when he called to check up. He said they would come back in a couple of weeks and take care of that and a little caulking that I had wanted done that was not done because the owner had not told the super to do it. It has now been 2 months since the work started and they have not come by nor called. Lastly the oil based stain is a bit sticky underfoot still and I guess that is the nature of the oil based composition. It has also taken quite a while for the smell to dissipate. Overall, the deck is well stained, but it took an awful lot of effort to get there and still things are not perfect.

They were professional and knowledgeable. They listened to what exactly I needed done.

I called the company and the owner, Mike was responsive in returning my call and setting up an appointment to provide an estimate. He was able to give me an estimate on the spot and left a color chart with more than 50 stain colors to choose from. He confirmed the appointment date/time the day before and the two man crew was on time. They power washed the deck and returned a few days later to sand and stain the deck. After they power washed as much of the paint away as possible, I noticed one rotting board. I called Mike and he said the workers could replace it for a small cost. Before sanding and staining, the crew hammered down nails, replaced the board and moved heavy furniture from the deck. We had been asked to move all small items before they arrived. The crew worked efficiently and did a great job. I wasn't home when they finished; they closed the gate and left the remaining stain. Mike was professional, explained the process and returned phone calls in a timely manner. When I had a question for the crew while they were working, they contacted Mike immediately to get the answer. We would definitely use this company again.

They were very efficient. They were set up so that they could come and do the work, even when i wasn’t there; which was good. I have a very high deck and they were prepared to access it without having to come into the house. They didn’t have to bring any of their materials into the house. They did everything from the outside. Given the time of the year, I think they did what they could do. It was the busy time of the year. They were able to get in within the reasonable timeframe of the year. They did what they were going to do. I would advice them who are getting ready to do this work, to ask for samples. That’s the only area I would recommend on. They had options of what they do. I think they should get wood samples and advice what they would do. They don’t have an office with a secretary. You have to wait for the owner to get in touch with you. I would ask them to get some samples to look at before deciding anything. I would use them in the future.

We called American Powerclean and they were able to come fairly quickly to give us an estimate for the work to be done. They showed up on the agreed date and pressure washed the deck and privacy fence. A week later they came and sealed the deck. Overall we are very happy with the work and the look of the deck.

They gave us estimate and we ended in having them clean our deck. They seemed very nice. Their work was done nice and they did a great job. The person that we were dealing with was very responsive. All in all I had a very positive experience. Their price was reasonable because our deck is really large and there is a lot of detail work on it. We didn’t any other estimate and we were satisfied with their estimate.

They did a fantastic job on the deck. I would have them come and do my deck again. However they were less than what I expected them to do. The job that they did was not as good as what I had anticipated. I think the deal is, the man who owns the company is good. He’s a good businessman. I think he runs his business pretty well. I think the problem is with the employees at my house. He came by and looked and gave me an estimate. He dropped the estimate off and then he came on a particular day with the guys to just show them where I lived I guess. He looked at everything again and he made sure that the water worked in the back. We ended up using just the front faucet. Then I paid a lot of money to get the faucet done. He had said originally that it would take them the better part of the day to do the siding and the deck. When he came in the morning with them, they were going to go and do another job that was small. It would have been probably just a deck or something else which was small. I thought they would be back right after lunch and spend the whole afternoon on my house. They probably spent two hours or may be three. The guys who worked told me that technically they should have brushes or sponges of some kind on a stick. However they should really rub most of the siding to make sure they get everything off like holes or insects that were stuck on. I don’t believe they ever used a brush or sponge and not anything that I heard of because I was inside and I didn’t see anything outside. I think that they didn’t do as good a job as he thought they were going to do. I did not complain and I just paid him; and I thought that I would not be using him again. I thought they were expensive. They charged me $200 for the deck and $300 for the siding. Then they did such a bad job on the siding. If they had to be here the whole day, they would have probably done a better job and it would have been well worth it. I feel like I was robbed. They did fantastic on the deck and they didn’t do so great on the siding. I would probably call them only to do the deck again in the future. I thought he was very responsive. The owner is great. There were two particular people who did my house. The owner came and watched them do the work for twenty to thirty minutes. He should have just surprised them and not told them the time that he was coming. I will use their services again in the future.

All together, they charged me $3000 since there were 8 closets. It wasn’t perfect, but they did a good job. They were really flexible in scheduling the work. This was before I moved into the condo and there was a lot of stuff going on. I had my floors refinished at the same time. They were willing to work around. They painted before and then they came in after the floors were refinished as well. There were some issues with the floor refinishing job and so, I had to delay them a couple of days. They managed to do it. They also accommodated at the last minute since I wanted the shoe molding done. I really appreciate how flexible they were in changing their time of coming out as well as accommodating with the last minute addition that I needed done. I got one other estimate and it was about the same price. So, I figured that they offered me a competitive price. I also did call them for power cleaning my deck and the price that they quoted me on that was the same as the company that I ended up using. So, I think their prices are competitive. Their quality wasn’t 100%, but was 90% for the overall amount of space that they covered even though there were a few little mistakes. When they said they would be here at 8, I thought they would be here at 8:30 or 9. I thought they would be behind schedule, but they were here exactly when they said they would be here. They were a little snippy, but that was because of the additional thing that the guy ended up having to do. He had to install baseboards in 8 different closets with different sizes. He found out that morning and then he had to do it. So, I could see why he was a little irritated, but there was nothing nasty or anything. I would definitely use their services in the future too. In fact, I called them about power cleaning the deck. I would have used them, but they couldn’t come out for another two weeks or so because they had many clients. My deck was looking really bad too.

Approximately 3 years ago a carpenter applied a bad batch of Cabot's sealant to my deck. Last year I had my deck cleaned and sealed but the bad sealant was not completely removed and my deck looked terrible. I had never had this problem in the past. I called two other power washing companies in addition to American Powerclean and I wanted the power wash company to see the bad sealant when they gave the estimate as I was concerned that a stripper might not remove all of the bad sealer. The two other companies gave me estimates over the phone but Mike Corbett personally came to my house and looked at my deck before he gave me his estimate. Three weeks later a polite and professional member of his crew came to my home and meticulously stripped and power washed my deck. He was also careful to cover the plants around the perimeter of the patio below the deck. A week later my deck was sealed and it looks beautiful! I would definitely recommend American Powerclean to anyone.

The business never answered the phone or returned calls when messages were left. We were never able to schedule an appointment!

Went smoothly. Done as promised. Cost more than I thought it would, but that was the estimate. No complaints.

I thought their price was good. They were on time and their pricing was very good. They got it done in one day. They did it without having us involved. They did the job and left a receipt and we paid it by check. I would highly recommend them.

I was satisfied with their service. There was a complicated piece in there and they offered to fix it and I waived them off. They were very good. They did the power cleaning, but ironically the hose left some blue marks on the brick. When the supervisor came he absolutely said it could not have been the hose, but the workers said that it was the hose. He said that he would get someone out and then finally when someone was willing to come and it was so close to the party. I looked it and it did not look like it was there, so I said no problem and they said to call them if anything needed to be fixed. I never called and the blue is still there, but they did everything right. The worker that came was excellent and he worked hard. He stayed within price and the price was good. They fit my schedule and there was a supervisor when the guy arrived and them it was checked before they left. They were very professional.

I had my deck sanded and sealed and I was very happy with American Powerclean. I had called for a quote and they called me back within a day or so. When they came out to look at my deck (which took a few weeks because of rain), they said it didn't need to be pressure washed, so they just sanded it and sealed it - AND THEY KNOCKED $100 OFF THE COST. That was GREAT! I would definitely use them again in the future. I gave them a B on quality only because I noticed a spot on the outside of the railings where I could still see some writing on the wood, but other than that, it looks pretty good and I hope it lasts me a LONG time! When it's time to be resealed, I'll probably call them again! Oh, one more thing - they don't take credit cards.... A minor bummer. Thanks so much, American Powerclean!

Mike Corbett, the owner, was responsive when I had concerns about the marks on the vinyl siding. He inspected the work and determined that the marks made by the adjacent trees brushing against the siding over a span of 11 years could not be removed. Other contractors would not have bothered to return to the job site after being paid. Mike's crew also went beyond the usual scope of work to remove a bees nest which was located too high up on the siding for me to remove.

They were very professional and gave a very fair estimate. We ended up going with another company because we could get in quicker but would have also used American Powerclean. They were our second choice. The estimate was reasonable and included high quality products.

This was great. I called and made an appointment realizing this is the season for their business. An appointment was made for Wednesday but when one of their customers did not have a back yard hose readily available, so they called and came to our house on Tuesday. The deck powerclean was great. With regard to stain, I asked for Mike's opinion and he said that I needed to select the color stain myself but could advise on the color. For example I asked about the cedar stain but he said that with his experience, the color comes out a bit orange so I decided on the redwood. Trying to get that accomplished took a couple of weeks because of the rain we recently had. They came out on a Sunday and the guys were very professional and knew what they were doing. At first the color seemed a bit red but Mike advised that the color will darken and if I was not happy, they could look at a solution. He also asked if I was happy with the work performed and I said absolutely. After a few days, the color darkened and it came out great. Thank you. I am now calling Mike back to get our back yard fence powercleaned and stained the same color. Thank you for the service and will keep him on my list for periodic clean and service.

Overall, the experience was excellent. They spent an extraordinary amount of time doing the work, and I was quite impressed. They did more than they actually anticipated, so they were there for pretty much the whole day. They completed everything and I'm very happy with their services.

I rate the house power washing excellent. The deck power washing was very good (my deck is 13 years old so kind of hard to tell). I still showed some of the old stain after the powerwash but its a balance between cleaning every spec and not taring up the wood. They did a very good job of staining. I'm thinking I should have picked a slightly darker color of stain but that's not their fault. In general, I was very happy with their work. I recommended them to my neighbor. From the date I called to the date they performed the work was 3 weeks plus an extra week to stain the deck due to it raining everyday. Probably the only thing they could have done better is call me sooner in the 3 weeks from my call to their doing the work to give me an estimated start date (they called a week before but I went for 2 weeks not knowing if I was even scheduled). They also didn't call to let me know they would be back 2-3 days after the rain stopped to stain (a 30 sec phone call would have been nice). Still very happy with them and will use them again.

They did a great job. They did exactly what they said they would do, cleaned up afterwards.

I contacted American Powerclean and received a call the next day and scheduled an estimate. Mike came out and provided an onsite estimate which ended up being exactly what I was charged. He was very up front that it would take a couple weeks to schedule an appointment but as it turned out, there was a cancellation and was able to get an appointment earlier than expected. The crew did show up a few days early though due to the changing weather patterns which was a surprise. The only advice I have for anyone using American Powerclean is to be ready to go when you make the appointment as things changed quickly in my instance. I didn't need to do anything to let the crews work, but it was a surprise nonetheless. As can be seen with my rating, I was floored at the amount of work they did and how well it was performed. The crew restored my decks and patio to a state that didn't even look recognizable. It looks brand new. A few days later, the crew came back and sealed my decks to preserve the state for a few years. I will absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone. The rates were reasonable considering how much work was required.
