The estimating was clear and straightforward. Mike gave me a full description of the process and the chemicals involved, which were specific to my problem of mold growing on the outside of the house. They came on the day promised and the house looked great. I have extensive gardens all around the house, including large rose bushes on trellises and there was zero damage of any kind to anything. They came back out and for a very small charge painted the shutters on the house which had faded due to sun exposure.

They provided good service and on a short time-frame. Estimate was complete and the finished work came with no surprises. They would have rated an excellant, however there were several spots on the deck that had to be redone... office staff was very responsive, I think it just may have been a bad day from the actual workers standpoint, but in the end, everything was fixed/ touched up and we were very satisfied with the work.

Excellent. I call Mike anytime I have a listing that needs power washing. He does a great job every time.

American Powerclean came and gave us an estimate beforehand and they were pretty true to it. They were very honest in their dealings as well. They were a pretty fair price for what they had done. I would use them again in the future. I felt the cost was reasonable for the quality of work that they provided. They were very responsive, they did exactly what they said they were going to do for the price they said they would do it for.

APC was professional throughout. Kept me informed, was able to work around a scheduling issue, meticulously cleaned the siding and other parts of the exterior. Very pleased with the results. Definitely use again.

After I called them, they came to look at the house one day while we were gone, and left a written estimate. Took a few phone calls to make sure they had understood what I'd described over the phone and written the estimate accordingly. (Turns out they had understood just fine.) They gave an approximate date of service, but because of rainy weather weren't able to get to it for a week or two after that ... not their fault and no big deal since we weren't in a rush. Billing and payment was simple -- very pleased and will most likely use them again.

We received several estimates to have our upper level trim painted and, overall, they came in with the lowest bid and were as professional, or not more professional than everyone we contacted. We provided the paint. We had some boards that looked like they might be rotting and they repaired all of them as part of their prep work. Everything turned out great. We didn't have to wait long to get scheduled in and they were very efficient in getting the work done. They did a great job cleaning up everything afterwards, leaving the outside cleaner than when they arrived (in regards to blowing and sweeping debris.

The showed up on time. Did a great job.

All of the decks in my neighborhood are quite small (under 100 square feet) so I was charged the minimum price ($350). This was the cheapest rate that I could find around town. The job was performed very well -- I hardly noticed that they were even there.

CALLED MIKE TO SET UP APPOINTMENT -- HE CALLED BACK WITH DATE. MIKE'S PEOPLE ARRIVED AS SCHEDULED AND DID A GREAT JOB ON THE HOUSE CLEANING. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I USED AMEERICAN POWER CLEAN AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE HIM IN THE FUTURE. ALSO, I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO MY NEIGHBORS.

My mother recommended Mike to me - she's had him pressure wash / seal her deck for over 10 years now. It was early November and I wanted to get the job done quickly. I sent Mike an email detailing what I wanted done. He called me to confirm my address and stopped by later in the week with an estimate for the work. One week later he came out while I was gone and pressure washed / sealed the deck. Very prompt, responsive and quality work. My deck is about 400 sq feet with stairs to the ground.

Called and got estimate right away on power cleaning our deck and getting it sealed. They came out on day promised and cleaned our deck without anyone needing to be home. Got home and was VERY pleased with the way the deck looked. We had not had it cleaned for many years and it looked great. American Power Clean then came out a few days later and sealed the deck. Great service and very easy to arrange! Would use them again!

The estimate was made quickly, and work scheduled promptly. Crew was polite, thorough, and efficient - they worked around brand new landscaping and climbing vines. Everything looks fantastic - couldn't ask for more. We definitely will engage with American Power Clean again.

In the past we have had many problems getting the deck cleaned and stained. Mike had to postpone the job for a day, but called to let us know what was going one. His crew completed the deck cleaning in one day. The weather was not cooperative and right after staining the deck we had a downpour. Mike agreed to reapply the stain. The job was well done, and considering weather problems, was done in a very timely manner.

Very easy to work with and they did a great job! Cleaned up afterwards and were on-time. Would definitely use them again in the future. The entire price was very reasonable and fair.

They were quick to come out to the house and provide an estimate. The workman were professional and did a great job staining and sealing the various woodwork. Power cleaning crew was also great. I will use them again.

Excellent. Exceeded expectations. I was on a short time frame, they worked around my requirements, including flexing with regard to other contract work being completed at the same time. Extreme attention to detail. Thorough, no sign that they had been there other than a finished product (the deck, the shutters). The kind of quality, repsonsiveness, value and integrity I needed at a busy time. My house looks GREAT! They are an example of why Angie's List is such a great success. They take their reputation seriously, but earn it by providing reliable, value-oriented quality work.

I left a voice message and also sent an email detailing what I needed done and the tight timeline I had to work with (I'm selling this property and needed to have the work executed prior to closing). Mike returned my call later that day to let me know that his schedule was completely booked till the end of August and he wouldn't be able to work me in. I told him that I was able to find a company to do the power wash but not the additional small repair needed. He gave me the contact information of someone who might be able to help me out. I was so impressed with his helpfulness and the fact that he called me back to let me know he wouldn't be able to do the work in the timeframe I needed, that I asked him to provide an estimate for cleaning and staining the deck on our primary residence. (With no execution timeframe issues.) I haven't had work performed by this company, but I can comment on the communication and professionalizm and they are top notch.

The job was carefully and expertly done. The only hitch was the one day when we were told the job would begin early in the morning but didn't start until I contacted Mike later that day when no one had arrived. The power washing was completed that afternoon. Since we have a second story deck, it wasn't easy to either move the furniture and grill around to accomplish the job or actually remove the furniture from the deck to the lawn below. We left that to the worker although we did replace the furniture after the stain had dried. We are very pleased with the price and the results.

It was the second time we had used them. It went really well. They did an excellent job. The quality of the work was very good. They were very thorough.

I had American PowerClean clean two decks and two sets of stairs as well as remove mold from shutters and brick on my house. Mike provided the estimate the day after I left him a detailed voice mail, and the work was performed about 3 weeks later. They not only did an immaculate job on the decks, brick and shutters, they left no muddy mess, footprints in flower beds, etc. My house literally sparkled! On my recommendation, a neighbor with badly mildewed light-colored brick also hired them and was extremely pleased. I would absolutely recommend American PowerClean!

Initially things got off to a rocky start, but Mr. Corbett went above and beyond to make things right. At first glance it appeared that he (and his crew) did a very good job but on inspection not so much. They power washed the top boards of the deck against the grain leaving a fuzzy appearance and splinters all through the upper boards. The seal and stain at first glance looked good but after a torrential rain the evening of the seal and stain it does not look, at all, like a professional job. The latter I can not blame on the company for the weather is always a question mark in this area.

After seeing good reviews on Angies List, I called for an estimate on a deck refinish and exterior trim paint. The deck was a bit more complicated than the usual power wash and seal, since I needed an old dark stain removed - they informed me they'd need to use a fairly toxic chemical for stripping, which caused me some concern since the deck is located directly above a koi pond. But they were great - walked me through it, stressed that they'd cover and protect the pond, and gave me a very reasonable estimate. The finished product is excellent and I'd certainly hire them again. One down side: the manager didn't show up to walk through the project with me when arranged, and as a result we conducted all our business over the phone. Had we walked through it first, we would have been able to discuss some minor deck repairs that I had in mind. As a result, they didn't get done.
