Mike and his team of movers did an exceptional job of moving us from our home in Leesburg, VA to our new home in Ashburn VA. His hard-working professional team arrived at our home in Sep11 to move our household goods and furniture into storage for 9 months. Each of his workers shook our hands and worked tediously to ensure our belongings were carefully wrapped, moved and stored in crates. They worked quickly, but were very careful to ensure that no damage occurred to our belongings. Our furniture was placed in storage for 9 months, and delivered to our new home in Ashburn. Again, his team arrived, shook our hands, greeted us with a smile, and quickly worked to unpack and place our furniture in our new home. No damage occurred to either house or to our furniture. The prices were extremely reasonable (we had multiple estimates and Mike was the the cheapest) and the quality of the job was extraordinary. This is our fourth move, and by far, American Movers was the most professional company we have used. His friendly, professional and hard-working team made this a stress-free move. We HIGHLY recommend American Moving & Storage.

A great group of people. all my belongings and moved it from one state to another. There was a snow storm on their way and the team started driving unscheduld to avoid the weather and a delay.

Mike from America moving was great. He understood how difficult it was to empty a house after 20 years. The packers and movers were punctual, very careful and courteous. Nothing was lost or broken. They even put boxes in storage for and in my attic.

Everyone, from the office staff to the moving staff, was incredibly professional, courteous,caring and kind - so easy to work with.They took care with all our possessions, treating them like they were their own.We were amazed by their efficiency with loading and unloading.They were prompt in arriving to pick up as well as delivering - beat their estimated time on both ends.These guys are great, I actually felt guilty just sitting there while they moved everything!They took the time to make sure everything went where it was supposed to.They even gave excellent advice as to how and where to place certain items, and we listened because it worked.They had to move some extremely heavy furniture upstairs and pulled it off without a hitch or complaint - don't know how they can do it.Managed to place a king sized bed in a second floor bedroom that would not fit up the stair well - used ropes to bring over the upstairs hall banister, so creative and effective.For us it was completely stress and worry free.I would definitely use them again! Storage was provided for furniture and belongings not immediately utilized - excellent service and smooth transition from storage to home after a few months, everything in perfect original condition.

We’re from Colorado and we thought we’d live here for a couple of years and then head back, but we ended up buying a house. We were living in Springfield and we rented a house and the people that owned the house were in the military. They found out that they needed to be back into their house; so within 4 months of moving from Colorado to Springfield, we had to move again. We hired this company before and so we used them again. Everything has gone well because moving is hard and it needs to be done quickly. We had boxes that should have been in the garage, in the basement and vice versa. They were very professional and they worked very quickly. I believe the owner of the company is very responsive in terms of us being able to call him and ask questions about how to pack some things. I think their price was reasonable. I liked the job they did.
