American Home Contractors were great. The project manager, Tyler, was professional and organized. He came out and provided a bid for the job. He spent almost an hour detailing the materials and process the company would use for the roof. He also provided specifics on all of the warranty options. The job started on time and proceeded as scheduled. The crew was careful and thorough.

The person with American Home Contractors that I talked to on the phone to set up my appointment was very friendly and courteous. On the day of the appointment, the technician who performed the work (Eric Shires) was on time, professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Prior to cleaning my gutters, he did a thorough inspection of my attic, roof, and gutters, and reported his findings back to me. He had taken several photos with his smartphone, and he showed me the photos as he shared his observations. He said my attic, roof, and gutters all looked very good, except for a few things here and there. He made a few helpful recommendations: stop using my attic fan (because it was short-circuiting proper ventilation of hot air through my ridge vent), consider installing new gutter guards (because the ones I currently have are of cheap construction and not properly secured in place, which was confirmed by the photos he showed me), and repair a small hole at the underside of my roof where the fascia meets the roof. Several feet of gutter in the front of my house was filled with twigs and roof insulation (which he showed me a photo of), and Eric believed this was done by a squirrel who was able to get into my attic through the small hole to retrieve insulation. Since the gutter guards weren't securely fastened, it was easy for the squirrel to move the guard out of the way and essentially build a dam in the gutter. Eric then cleaned out the gutters, after which he reported back to me to let me know he had finished. He indicated he had about half an hour before he needed to be on the road for his next appointment, and then he went "above and beyond" by offering to try to close off the attic hole for me. He did just that, and then showed me a photo of the finished work. I was very appreciative of him offering to do that, especially since it was outside of his scope of work. The following day, I was emailed a zip file with the photos that Eric had taken during his inspection. It was nice to have the photos for my personal records. All in all, I was very impressed with American Home Contractors, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. Highly recommended.

Doug Haseltine came right on time. He was very courteous and professional. He took photos of my roof and attic to explain to me any problems that existed. He was a pleasure to work with and would hire him again.

Doug did a very thorough inspection of the roof and attic, took pictures of areas needing work and patiently answered all of my questions. Good service.

Doug was the definition of professional and helpful! We knew that our roof had an issue when we had our home inspected and have been looking for someone to perform the repairs that we could trust. Contractor (Doug) was friendly\professional and came right on time , he provided detailed inspection of all exterior including roof , attic and explained neatly what other problems exist in exterior , advised on how to fix some minor problems. Gutters were cleaned up , tightened up and cleaned the dirt after work,

The came on time, were very professional and pointed out some items that needed to be taken care of, but didn't really try to up sell us anything. Eric was very professional and did a great job. They provided a great value to us.

During recent wind/rain storm my roof and siding were damaged. I contacted several companies for estimates. American Home Contractors were very responsive to all my questions and I feel that they gave me a good price, so I went with them. Also, based on previous reviews I felt confident that they would do a good job. I am very happy with my new roof and siding. They also replaced two skylights on my porch, and all of my shutters. The neighbors have all commented that my house looks great.

Chuck was punctual and very courteous. The cost of such jobs depends a lot on service provider's honest assessment and I give full credit to AHC for keeping my costs as low as was needed.

Great service, rescheduled many times due to weather but was able to complete the service. also provided pictures of the roof to show the condition.

I guess it was a fair estimate. They gave me general information.

The service was excellent. My tech was professional courteous and informative. I didn't feel sold like I have with other offers I have purchased.

Well. The only issue was they forgot to tell me the day they were installing to new roof that they were coming.

Tyler was very professional and reasonable. He explained the various options and I did not feel pressured during the initial consultation. A couple of weeks after the contract was signed, the roofers came and did a good job on the roof and gutter replacement. There were some issues with the portico repairs, but Tyler made sure my issues were addressed by having the staff come back to fix the issues. At the end, I was a happy customer. Seems like a reputable company--I would recommend.

I paid for the service in Feb. 24th but had to postpone the service 4 times due to weather and unforeseen issues. Ms. Jocelin from the office was very responsive to accommodate My need. The technician, Mr. Doug Haseltine, called when he was on the way. He really spent time to inspect the roof and the attic, took pictures, explained to me the condition of my roof/attic and what he was going to do and why. I believe he went above and beyond to earn another satisfied customer. Great service.

It went well as the contractor was very diligent and conscientious of he was doing and recommendations of what could be done.

AHC was outstanding from beginning to end. Tyler was knowledgeable and helpful in guiding our selection and sale. Carlos and the crew were excellent - punctual and professional. They did an outstanding job from start to finish.

Eric from the Fairfax office serviced our roof maintenance and inspection. He surveyed inside & out then shared many pictures & even videos to ensure we understood exactly where and what our roof needed. As new home owners, we appreciated his 101 explanation on ventilation, roof materials, etc. We did not have any leaks or damage prior to the visit, but Eric went through to patch any potential future issues to prolong our roof. We ended with a life estimate of our roof & overall insulation, but no pressure to buy additional services. Also, scheduling was easy.

Although our roof is getting older, they were very honest in telling us it still had some good life left.

Doug came on time, made a thorough inspection of problem areas, gave good recommendations.

Eric S. at American Home Contractors was terrific. He not only performed a check-up on my gutters and repaired the gutter that was leaking, he also took several photos of entire roof and chimney to point out problem areas of which I had been unaware. Very professional, helpful, not pushy. A pleasure to deal with.
