Eric came in time. Did the inspection from inside out in first 15 minutes. Showed all the pictures and gave an idea what he will be doing. Then he was up there fixing things and again showed the pictures of what has been done. Eric was very professional, communicated very well and the work done was completely satisfactory. I must say, do not hesitate to use this service if you need to get your roof inspected and fixed.

They arrived on time, did a thorough inspection of the roof and inside the attic taking pictures that they reviewed and shared with me. They repaired the two missing shingles as well as some loose spots on the ridge vent. They pointed out some other problems and made recommendations on what to look for and what should prompt me to make other repairs or replace the roof. There was no pressure to take on additional work at this time.

Purchased the gutter tune-up deal. Eric Shires came by and did an excellent job! He took before pictures, walked me through any issues. Once he cleaned everything he took after pictures and even took video of water follow through the extended downspouts!! He was also very helpful in recommending what repairs/upgrades I needed.

THE GOOD: Scheduling the initial appt was quick and easy, and the tech. came on time, took care of the minor leak, and took pictures. Technician was very polite and professional. THE BAD: Had to follow-up with office five separate emails to get copies of the photos taken as promised and repeatedly requested detail on what the findings of the roof inspection were so I could set-up next steps. Office simply told me to get an estimate set-up for a new roof (on a 10 year old roof) with no additional detail. Followed-up once more to request more detail so I could determine if in fact I might need a new roof and never heard back. Responsiveness is key and I feel like they did not follow through.

Minutes after purchasing the deal, I received a call from Monique to schedule. On the scheduled day, Eric called before our appointment and told me he was running late, which I really appreciated. When he arrived, he told me exactly how he was going to do the assessment of our roof. He took lots of pictures to showed me the issues he saw. He explained in detail each issue and how he would recommend fixing it. After assessing the whole roof, he explained to me how he was going to fix the blown off shingles. When he completed the work, he showed me pictures and explained what he did. It was exactly what we talked about before. I never got the feeling that Eric was recommending work that we didn't need, which I really appreciated. I would definitely consider Eric and American Home Contractors in the future.

Excellent experience. Spoke to them and was scheduled for roof inspection (they call it a tune up) the following week. Eric came out and did an outstanding job that included going in the attic with photos inside and out. Great job

it wasn't so much of maintenance as a pre-sale call for roof replacement. It took multiple times of asking and agreeing to a roof estimate for him to actually do the touch up work, which not all of the items listed in the package were performed. All he did was job a bunch of sealant for $150. He didn't even look for immediate issues the first time he was on the roof. Oh yeah, I'll be sure to leave Eric feedback, since it impacts his bonus. The roof replacement estimate was way worse. The guys didn't have an interest in discussing some very specific requests for estimate, ignored/blew off damage for replacement that the technician cited. Then had the gall to size me up for as much as he thought he could charge me for an estimate. AVOID THIS PROVIDER.

The technician was responsive and conscientious and did what he could to improve the issues with my shingles. He put on new collars on the chimneys, checked the attic fan, and inspected the roof inside and out. I would call them again.

The technician showed up as scheduled and was very professional and friendly. He went through the attic and inspected the roof. He provided a large collection of pictures showing various aspects of what he found. Outside of the standard service, he also very kindly cleaned out one of the gutters that had a major pine needle clog. We later received an estimate to replace the shingles on the roof from this company, which we then contracted with for that work. Will provide a review on that experience once it is completed.

Tyler Griffin, Va. President, was incredibly professional and both roofs are beautiful. Tyler oversaw everything personally making sure everything went smoothly and was done to perfection. We were so impressed and have already referred him and his company to several friends. He is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions or concerns. The work was completed in a timely manner and our property was left in mint condition. It was quite a large job and we were very pleased with our result. Rest assured, you will be happy with your project if you go with American Home Contractors.

The work performed was extremely thorough and I was offered up plenty of photos along with a report at the end of the inspection. Solid work!

Great overview and repair service for roof. Eric was great and explained everything, was on-time and thoughtful

When scheduling, the contractor did state that the offer would not include "leaf guard, gutter helmet", etc., type covering, as I have on one gutter. But at the scheduled meeting for the work, the serviceman stated that it also would not include the other gutter, with its simple screening. And their gutter cleaning under the offer would NOT include hosing the gutter, just use of a leaf blower! I had a gutter clogged with wet "helicopter" leaves. So the advertised deal was useless. Upon extra payment, I got the one clogged gutter cleaned. Serviceman was polite and did do a quality cleaning. But I was stuck paying an above-average price for cleaning one 50-foot gutter, having already set aside half-a-day for this scheduled "Angies List deal".

After 2 aborted attempts due to rain on the day of the appointments, we had a good day. Doug came over and did a great job of cleaning everything out. We had gutter guards which created a little extra work but he worked around them and restored everything to its original condition. Easy guy to work with. Can't say enough about the office. Monique was on the phone with me not more than 2 minutes after I had purchased the deal. Wow! And she sent me emails and phone call reminders of the next-day appointments each time we were scheduled. It was so easy to work with her. Will definitely add this firm to my "Good" list.

Eric was knowledgeable and has explained me about how roof venting works. He was patient to double check the roof, crawl into attic and see to it that everything was fine.
