Paul arrived early. After showing him the drywall damage, he went up in the attic to see where the water was coming from. He found a leak around our gas fireplace vent pipe. He then went up on the roof and verified that the original sealant had failed. He resealed vent pipe, replaced boot on a bathroom vent that was cracked, blew of leaves and branches from the roof, and did a complete roof inspection.

Great, Paul cox did a great job. Took pictures and walked the entire roof. On time and before the rain which was great. AHC are a great firm, I highly recommend.

For a second year in a row, we had terrible gutter overflow and needed it cleaned out. We live in a 3 level townhouse so DIYing a gutter cleaning is not something we want to undertake. We had American Home Contractors from Virginia come by again this year because we were very happy with their service from last year. Paul and Will were wonderful, very attentive and informative. It’s nice to have a supervisor show up on the job site. Even with the bad news about our aging roof, I got exactly what I expected from them and am happy with their work.

Dennis was extremely thorough and helpful while inspecting our roof and replacing a few shingles that blew off in a wind storm. After his inspection he carefully reviewed the condition of our roof with photos and a clear explanation to me. He proactively caulked some exposed nails to increase the lifespan of many parts of our roof. We called American Home Contractors for the $149 inspection and shingle repair and it was a fantastic deal for us.

It went great. They immediately recognized the make of our roof and the condition. The condition was bad (not a surprise) and the make was actually part of a class action lawsuit for early roof failure which was a big surprise. Because the roof had existing damage, we worked it through our insurance and got a new roof. We used AHC for the install. They did a great job on the install, and did an even better job when a wind storm came through 3 days later and ripped off a bunch of the newly installed shingles. Their price for the new roof was very fair.

The rain was a bear in 2018 so scheduling was tough. They got both jobs done with a lot of juggling by the foreman, Daniel D. Overall, the roof looks great and held up great to the following set of flooding thunderstorms. The shutters were installed as well with no isssue. A great experience, I highly recommend.

Dennis called ahead to let me know he was on the way and that he would be a little late. Dennis explained what he saw and what he was going to do. He blew out some debris in the rear gutters and and re-did some of the loose nails. Pictures were taken and a recommendation to get repairs done on the chimney was made.

Great company! Everyone is extremely friendly from the person who answered the phone to Paul who came out for my roof tune up. Paul called to see if he could come earlier than the appointment time which was great. He went over everything he did and showed me before and after pictures. Definitely a great value. I had a great experience with this company and have already recommended them to friends. When I need to replace my roof they will be the first call I make.

At first I was very happy with the responsiveness of this company. I called and an appointment was made. I was very specific about asking if someone needed to be present for the work to be completed and was assured that it could be done without us present. When I came home the day of the appointment there was a note on the door saying that they had been but could not perform the work because a homeowner was not present. I called immediately and was told that because the person was from a different office, they did require a homeowner. So, I made another appointment knowing I would have to be home. This appointment was cancelled by the company due to weather. I called to reschedule and they only returned my call after I had left several messages. Another appointment was made and once again canceled by the company. I attempted to reach them again but they never returned my call. I paid for the service because it was an Angie's list deal, but the work was never performed and I still have not received a call back from the company.

Dennis is awesome. This is the second time he’s come out for this and he was super helpful both times. He goes out of his way to make sure you know exactly what work was done and is very patient and thorough answering questions. Showed me pictures of the entire roof (ours is 40 feet above ground at some points) so that i knew exactly what everything looked like. He caulked some things which needed extra caulk (which i didn’t even know about) and even though the lost shingles went past the allowance of 10, he fixed everything for the quoted base price of $149. He even played ball with my dog while i wrote the check 😃 Super nice guy and i would call them again in a second for any work we need done in the future.

I had a leak in my garage roof that caused water to drip into the garage. The deal was for $149 to fix the leak and inspect the roof. They gave me a report on the roof and plugged the hole where the water was coming in. They were friendly, punctual, and seemed to do a thorough job. The jury is still out on whether the leak is actually fixed. The next heavy rain will tell the story. They were at my house for over 2 hours and came up with the same diagnosis that a friend of mine had comp up with - a piece of flashing from a gutter was poking a hole in the shingles. They didn't try to tell me other things were wrong which was my fear with such a low priced deal.

aul and Cal provided a roof Tuneup for my two story home. They were on time and finished in 45 minutes. They were very professional and explained in detail every aspect of the tuneup. I would highly recommend their services.

Paul did a great job. He went up on the roof and showed me picture of what needed to be fixed and explained everything before he did any work. I liked that he got my approval before doing anything just in case.
