All went great - got an estimate over the phone and follow-up email where all was explained in detail. Crew of 3 guys (Alex, Chris, and Ryan) called 30 minutes prior to arrival as planned, were polite, professional , and efficient! And extremely careful removing large/bulky items out of our basement that has tight turns and narrow doorways - not a scratch or bump during the whole process! We filled the one truck with most of the stuff and will definitely call them again when we are ready to get the rest of the stuff out! I was VERY pleased with the entire experience with 123 Junk and just wish other companies could be more like them! Thanks for a great job well done!

Crew of Caleb, Jerry, Luis and Phillip arrived on time and did an excellent job removing a hot tub. They had to dismantle it but did so quickly and left the work site cleaner than it was when they arrived.

They were very responsive and made an appointment to get my junk today, they give you a price quote on the spot and you can take it or not. I did take the offer and was very pleased with the two men that came to collect my items. I was also interested in them because they do donate goods.

I received a bid from this company which was twice the cost of others - $298 to remove one piece of furniture from Washington, DC. I was referred from another organization, which had indicated a lower cost. When I asked the person (Collin) why there would be such a large difference he said that it would cost $149 in Northern Virginia but that DC had more requirements. His tone was arrogant and overall he was quite rude. He did not ask about any of the specifics (stairs, elevators, parking) just quoted one exceedingly high fixed fee and told me to "call around" and I would see it was fair. I received several other quotes, all in the $125 range. If you live in DC, this is not the service for you.

Couldn't be better. Patrick and Martin were all business. Careful about removing the items, pleasant to talk to, totally professional.

Great work. The haulers appeared near the beginning of the two-hour window (calling in advance) and removed the debris at the price that had been initially provided to me via e-mail. I was very happy that they were able to take everything, including tree branches, scrap wood, scrap metal, and even old lawn furniture, and they did it in a very short amount of time. I would definitely use them again.

Went perfectly. Paul and Jay took care of everything just like I asked. They were fast and worked hard without complaint. Explained all the details about possible donation of my "junk". Were able to quickly estimate my cost with no surprises.

Service was timely, and two young men were very polite and prompt. In fact I would give them an A. However, after I paid by credit card several thousand dollars of illegal charges were made to that card, including money transfers (123junk was the only unusual/not typical purchase on that card before the illegal charges). ****** I recommend that if you use this company you pay by cash or check.*******

I hired 123 because of the great ratings on Angie's List and also I like the fact that they try to 1-donate, 2-recycle and as a last resort, 3-throw out. I was pleased with the person who answered my call to request the quote and make the appointment. He was very thorough and polite. The 2 guys they sent out were punctual and courteous. I believe the price paid was fair especially with the $30 Angie's list coupon applied.

We had sorted the accumulated trash that needed to be hauled away... We selected 123Junk on the basis of Angie's list reviews, and made an appointment. The showed up early, after confirming it was okay, and made an estimate. We accepted, and they hauled about five cubic yards of old appliances/lamps/stuffed animals/desks/benches/etc. The crew was pleasant, efficient, and the service was reasonably priced. They cleaned up afterwards, too. Great Service, good price, and very effective. We'll use them again for our next cleanout!

Absolutely the best!!! As part of downsizing from a house, I used 123Junk on 3 trips over 2 months, with a total of 3 full truck loads of junk. The crews on each occasion were friendly, professional, careful not to damage walls and thorough. They were on time or even a little early. They had to take a lot from the basement and were pleasant about it all. On each trip, one member of the crew was responsible to packing the truck to ensure that I was getting an honest load (they charge by volume, not the hours worked), and I did get a full pack every time. Overall, 123Junk has done a tremendous job in hiring; all the guys were terrific!

It was great! . They understood without being told that there had been a loss in our family and that this was a difficult matter, and handled it with kindness, respect, and sensitivity. Further, the price was clearly set and quite reasonable.

Excellent both times. The crews were punctual, efficient, careful (no damage to anything while ******* some heavy stuff out of the basement), and friendly. I'd received estimates from 123Junk over the phone both times and the crews, upon arriving, provided prices before starting; the phone and on-site numbers, in both instances, were the same. I was attracted in part by the company's statement that it provides items to charity, if possible. I haven't heard if any of mine were. The cost was about $460 for the first pick-up and $159 (the minimum) for the second. I was called after both visits to see how things had gone. I have (obviously) already used them a second time and will use again.

They were excellent -- from the first time I contacted them to their following up after the work was done. They are extremely professional and smart about the way they work. They took an enormous amount of goods of all sizes from my garage, including some large pieces of furniture. They worked very diligently and cleaned up remaining debris beautifully. They didn't leave anything undone. It was really impressive. The price ended up being a bit higher than I expected, but given the way they work, I'm sure it was justified. I would definitely use them again.

The two-man crew was on time (actually, a little early), friendly, efficient and very hard-working. We went over the to-go items and they provided the charge up front (which was the same as what was estimated over the phone based on my describing what I wanted taken). A couple of items (e.g., the treadmill) had to be disassembled because they would not otherwise fit going up the stairs and there was a nominal charge ($10 or so) added for that which they told me upfront and seemed entirely reasonable. I don't know if any charity will want any of our stuff but I am pleased that at least that possibility exists. Excellent job. Definitely will hire again and would be pleased to have the same crew.

It wasn’t easy, but the two young men worked at it until the air conditioner was finally free. Because it was wedged in so tightly it took several minutes of pushing and pulling to get it all the way out. They did so without complaint. And they efficiently removed the other junk items I had gathered together. I was impressed both with their willingness to take on a hard job and their professional demeanor. Getting that old, rusty air conditioner removed was worth every penny, and I highly recommend 123Junk.

The crew arrived early. They called to ask if they could arrive earlier since the previous job went faster than expected. . I agreed and they systematically sorted the the material into metal , plastic and items that could be donated. The two workers were courteous professional and hard working . The guys showed up on time, we’re very courteous and professional, and they worked much faster than I expected. They packed an amazing amount of stuff into their truck ... everything I had hoped they would take. All around great experience and I’ll be having them back soon for @ “round 2.”
