The Triton Group was was very professional in the services they provided. The owner, Kuldar Kurrick, was punctual in arriving to my home, and gave the promised analysis and conceptual drawings. He spent alot of email time as we discussed the possible slope for the new bricked in sidewalk. His plan was to apply the cost of the "Angie's Deal" against the cost of the job if a contract were signed. The final result was not using Triton but following through on a prior missunderstood conversation with my brother for his completion of the job. I have no doubt that Triton would have completed the job to my satisfaction.

And after the job had been completed and we were ready to pay because they had done everything we asked of them. They came back. We were still having water issues, and the beautiful patio they created was covered in mud. But what was really impressive is they were not ready to take payment, they came back, regraded around the patio, brought sod in and worked hard to ensure that there would be no more drainage issues. We have had several hard rains since then, with no more drainage issues. We would definitely recommend them. There was a small issue with the timing, the pavers we order were not ready by the time we they started. This appears to more be an issue with the supplier to the provider. While they did take more time than intended, we would definitely use them again and recommend them. The overall job is fantastic.

The start of the work was delayed a few weeks due to stormy weather possibly causing schedule back ups. Over the span of a week and a half they: 1. removed a small concrete pad, 2. graded the area for a horizontal suface, 3. laid and compacted multiple layers of gravel, 4. they laid the stone pavers and added sand. 5. They also put a drainage tube from our downspout out to the hill in the backyard. 6. After the patio was completed,they laid sod and grass seed around the patio. During the process, they were careful to be neat about their work and storing their supplies. They beat a bit of a path through the front yard carrying supplies and gravel. However, it wasn't too bad and the grass recovered quickly. Great job to Kuldar and his crew!

Kuldar was easy to work with. He helped us design the plan and came to the sight a few times for this. The price was fair. Contract was written up with clear contract terms. Excellent quality work. Workers pleasant and professional. On time, worked consistently hard to finish the job. Did excellent quality work and were easy to work with.

Kuldar and Triton Design Group rocks!!! We bought an Angie's List offer to have Triton Group install a patio - we extended the plan to include a larger patio area, walkways, river rock, and mulch. Kuldar was very responsive and was spot on with the start date and expected completion date. Jose and his crew were exceptional - they took pride in everything they did. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the work, and you can't beat Kuldar's price - he beat several other contractors, but more importantly, the quality is unbeatable. Triton Design Group will be at the top of our list for future projects.

Kuldar and his crew arrived as arranged and worked steadily throughout approx 10 days. There was excellent communication and the opportunity to discuss options as site conditions were exposed. Also Kuldar and the crew successfully coordinated efforts with a neighboring property owner. Materials were of excellent quality and workmanship provided from design through construction was consistent, highly skilled and professional.

It went well; although we asked the provider to draw up a 'complete revamp' plan and a 'keep the structure the same' plan; and he only did the 'complete revamp' plan. This was disappointing, as we would have paid him extra had he said anything. He said, "Ok", but never did it.

Kuldar, the owner, was extremely responsive all the way from the estimate to completion of the job. His staff was professional and really worked hard to get the job done. They did a great job! I am very happy with the patio!

Quality of job: Very good Quality of support from the employees in answering question while doing the job - Very good. Actual work and finished product - Very good Areas of improvement: Kuldar [I think he is the owner] couldn't spend much with us in finalizing the stone. I keep hearing that he is very busy. I am sure he is busy but he could have joined us while we pick the stone atleast once. He made mistake in estimate and that was brought up on last day of payment. Estimate excluded area of step while installers installed the stone under the step. Had to argue with him. Eventually I paid cause the other option was that he will break the patio and remove those stones and do it as per the sq. feet mentioned in the estimate. We had couple of square feet less than what we paid for. We didnt complain but his attitude could have been better.

The porch, sidewalk and driveway look marvelous and they made it look nice in the end. There were some issues though, but every problem that we brought up to them they were responsive to. This job should have taken about a week and a half to complete, but it took them about 3 weeks to do. Where we had moved the sidewalk to make it more rounded, we increased the size of one of the planting beds. Instead of using all that nice filter that they dug up, they used grass and waste material to fill that bed. There was also an electrical wire running to a light post that served 2 purposed; it is a light detector and there was a 3 prong outlet that the workers used that for their equipment. When the sidewalk was finished there was no electricity to the post. They knew electricity was running form it at one point, but when it stopped they then just used the outlet from the back yard outlet without letting us know ahead of time. They just left it and did not tell us as the customer. The company did have to send someone out to take care of the problem. Who they sent out was terrific might I add. He made a minimal disruption of the sidewalk and he found the breach in the line so that we were able to use the sidewalk the whole time. Two guys were working on the project, which is why I feel it took longer to complete. This company also uses black sand instead of brown sand during the repair. So I had to call them back to fix that. I want to mention that they already used brown sand on the whole project. but instead of using brown sand to match, it should have been clear to the guy making the repair that he should have used the brown sand to match. The final outcome was great and everything looked so nice. This company was very responsive to every situation by phone call and email, but the project took too long and we had to call them back a couple of times. I felt as though this company took every complaint to heart and wanted to make sure this didn't happen to any other customer and was a teaching moment for his employees.

The project went well. All of my questions were answered by the business owner before and as they arose during the project. When unexpected problems were identified, the workman stopped work, explained why and contacted his boss to see how to proceed. His boss (the business owner) discussed the problem with me and we agreed on the additional cost to fix the problem. Work resumed immediately. All work was done professionally. The owner responded rapidly to any questions and visited the site appropriately. Even though the project was relatively small, the owner made me feel that it was a high priority for him. The work site was left in good condition every day and everything was cleaned up well at the end of the project.

My experience was fine and he was very good to work with. He had a lot of good ideas and proposed using a lot of different plants. He sent us a nice color coded proposal and it was easy to read.

Went well, but realized the drawing I received was much like the draft I had done myself - just in more detail. Very expensive project that I cannot afford to do.

Kuldar came out and to talk to us about the job in the Winter. He missed the first couple of appointments only because snowstorms had shut everything down, but he did let us know each time and were never left waiting for him. Once we worked out what was needed (we increased the job about 30% over what was provided for in the deal), Kuldar provided a drawing we could use to obtain a required permit (we are in a historic district). Once the permit was granted, it took a little while to get started, as the bad weather this year had them quite backed up, but Kuldar did find a way to get us on the schedule sooner rather than later; they were able to start work two weeks after we had the permit. The patio we had them build was 12'x12', using Belgard pavers. The site had a slight ground slope, and they first consulted with us to decide how high to make the final surface. They then dug out the space by hand, just using shovels and a wheelbarrow to haul the dirt to the back of our yard, where we wanted some fill. They were careful during this process, both on the digging and on spreading out the dirt in the back. There were a couple of sizable roots, and they were careful to remove them with minimal disturbance to the remaining excavation. They then filled the space with multiple layers of stone, carefully packing it down, again by hand. There was a bit of a delay after this, it turned out because Belgard was out of stock on the pavers we had selected and had to manufacture a new supply (we confirmed this with the supplier). As soon as the new pavers were available, they brought them to our house and started laying them out right away. The gentleman who actually laid the pavers was just awesome, an artist. The pavers (Dublin Domino) are an unusual style with three different pavers (one unscored, and two scored at different points) mixed together, and it took time, thought and concentration to lay them out in an interesting, non-repetitive and pleasing pattern. He did a great job, and was constantly making minute adjustments to the base to keep the surface flat. After the stones were laid out, he installed steel edging, swept in polymeric sand fill, regraded the disturbed soil and seeded with grass, and removed all the debris. There was a pile of left-over pavers; we chose to keep just two of each type as spares, the rest they removed. Throughout this process, Kuldar was always quick to respond to my questions, either through the Angie's list messaging function or through direct email. The entire job, once started, took about two and a half weeks including delays. It took about three months from when we bought the deal, but most of that was weather and the permitting process. The resulting patio is exactly what we wanted, we wouldn't change a thing. We are very happy with the result. UPDATE, 3/21/15: This past winter has been brutal for all kinds of paving; the wet, cold weather resulted in widespread frost heaving in our area. However, the patio that Triton Design Group built for us last spring did not heave at all; it is as flat and even as the day it was completed. We continue to feel that they did an outstanding job on this project, and could not recommend them more highly.

Kuldar responded promptly after I purchased the Big Deal. He was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. We discussed my ideas and he had excellent input and suggestions. He took photos and I provided him with a plot map of my property. While it did take him a week longer than he said it was going to to provide the landscape drawing and quote, I did make it clear that there was no deadline or rush to get it done. Afterwards, I did have a couple questions about the type of trees he selected and he responded immediately via email with other suggestions. I would recommend his services to anyone in need of landscape planning.

I purchased an Angie's list "big deal" for $1,399 for a Paver Stone Patio, Driveway or Walkway - Delivered and Professionally Installed. The owner of the company, Kuldar Kurrick, contacted me promptly and came to my house within a week to figure out the job. He was easy to talk with, drew a rough sketch of a plan on the spot, answered questions, discussed potential issues, etc. He told me he would email a final plan and contract within the week, and he did. He was so thorough with his notes there were no changes needed, the price was as expected for the additional square feet over the amount stated in the deal. The weather this spring was rainy, so they started a few weeks later than initially estimated, but once on site work progressed rapidly. The workers were neat, courteous and professional. They came early and left late, displaying a kind of work ethic rarely seen these days. When questions came up, communication via email and phone was excellent. There was a LOT of dirt displaced and piles of materials on hand for several weeks. They took care to minimize any impact to the surrounding lawn and plants. They even moved one shrub out of the way, and then replanted it when they were done (without me asking them). The craftsmanship of the pathway is gorgeous. The landscaping was tricky as the back yard is quite a bit higher than the front. They had to figure out a way to navigate a slope and a curve - which they handled beautifully - and then somehow managed to grade the remaining back yard area so it all fits together. The pathway is beautifully done and looks so solid and smooth. Their work has transformed my back yard into an area I am proud to show my family and friends. I highly recommend Kuldar Kurrick and Triton Design Group to anyone who is looking for quality workmanship at a very fair price.

Mr. Kurrik responded promptly after I purchased the Big Deal. We made an appointment and he arrived on time and was very courteous, knowlegeable and professional. He spent alot of time going over my ideas for my backyard, taking careful measurements and pictures. He then provided the landscape drawing and quote as promised a few days later. I would definately recommend his services to anyone contemplating a backyard renovation.

Kuldar and his team were 100% professional and great to work with. His team did a great job working with us on the design and installation of our walkways. We couldn't be happier with their services.

Very responsive. The owner called us within a few days of buying the deal. Whenever I called he always answered the phone, instead of having to leave a message. Also, we asked for a quote in addition the what the deal covered and we had the estimate the evening after he came out. The installer was very knowledgeable and clearly knew what he was doing. I made a slight change to the design and he accommodated my request immediately. We are thrilled with the walkway, landing and French drain.

Everything turned out fine and it was pretty routine. I explained what I wanted done and he reiterated what I wanted. He did not give too many suggestions nor offering a whole lot. Scheduling was fine but it did take awhile to get a date scheduled. He was very up front with me and he was on time for the appointment.

he was on time, and professtional and thorough. Seemed like good quality, and he gave me many options to try to make it fir within my budget. He even reccomended other ways to get the materieals, or other companies to go with and warned me what to watch out for. We just couldnt make it fit our budget now. Hopefully next year!

We haven't had the work done yet due to the weather. I am a little disappointed as I thought I could see samples of the stones. He sent us to two different retail stores that he thought would have those stones but neither did. We drove over 100 miles to see them. I was surprised he didn't know the dealers. Other than that, he's been very nice, responsive, and friendly.

Triton did not take any shortcuts, but dug a full 8" deep and then crushed rock, sand, smoothing it out and ensuring the 1/4" slope for water run off. The worker was here every day promptly and worked to the evening. He only took off for the snow and of course the weekend (though he did work the last Saturday. They ensured that any damage to the lawn from their truck (it was soggy because of the rain and snow) was repaired, replanted grass. The area was just as clean as it was before they arrived. Excellent. The owner, Kuldar, was very honest and personable.
