The work went very smoothly. The men were on time, careful to wrap/pack as necessary, and made good time moving things out to their truck. They disassembled and reassembled my bed frame quickly. They were attentive and professional the whole time.

Moving is always a stressful experience, and doubly so when trying to move during a pandemic! But Bill made the whole process transparent, easy, and straightforward. From our initial conversations discussing the work and the schedule to the actual day of the move, Bill was communicative and reliable, and was even flexible when I wanted to reschedule because of a tornado watch/warning in the area. The pricing is super fair and- best part- it's all listed on the website so there's no guesswork as to whether it's in your budget or not. Even with concerns about COVID-19, it was by far the best moving experience I’ve had yet and I will definitely be using Perfect For Small Moves again.

I was lucky enough to hire Bill and his partner for my move last week. This was not an "easy" job, as my apartment is on the third story with no elevator. I was lucky enough to book about a week and a half prior to my move. They arrived early, packed all of my items beautifully and without any damage, and unloaded in an incredibly small amount of time. Bill is professional, courteous, and hard-working beyond belief. He is an expert in his field and I could not possibly recommend a company more highly. 10/10 would hire again!

The best move I've ever done (and I've moved probably 16, 17 times in my career). Mr Lamb and the guys showed up right on time and got right to work. Everything was padded and the truck was stacked efficiently so nothing rattled around. On the receiving end, they unloaded everything and placed each piece of furniture where I wanted it. They removed all the excess wrapping and did a final check/clean up. The whole job took just under 3 hours and than included the drive from one house to the other. I never write reviews but in this case, the service was simply outstanding!

I cannot say enough good things about Bill and his team! Such a smooth, stress-free moving process across DC with a very competitive rate that can't be beat. I booked Bill's company for a move in June with my then roommate. It was a tricky move since he moved my things to a storage unit first and her things to her new apartment, but his team accomplished it all efficiently and without complaint. I was so happy with their service that I booked them again this August to move my things from my storage unit to my apartment. Bill is very responsive, clear, friendly, and hardworking. Perfect company to book with for moves in the DMV region!

I was more then pleased with the service provided by Perfect For Small Moves. Communication was excellent at all times even on the weekends. I had to change the pickup date once and there was never an issue with changing the date. They had to pick up furniture from delaware and deliver it to maryland. They were right on time and delivered the furniture in excellent condition. I cannot say enough about this moving company and its owner Bill Lamb. Price was reasonable for the amount of travel they had to go. You cannot go wrong with hiring this company. I recommend them highly, and will use them again if needed.

The movers showed up early and very prepared. They had all needed supplies including dollies, hand-trucks and blankets. They quickly dis-assembled the bed and organized our goods. Everything was wrapped and well protected. At delivery, they protected the walls and doors. They made quick work of the delivery and re-assembly of the furniture. Super professional!!

It was great! They managed to load up a 20' truck (it was about 3/4 full), drive 20 minutes to our house, and unload it in less than 3 hours! They were very hardworking, helpful, and professional throughout the entire process. They came prepared with their own truck (which they decided to carry a couple of my more fragile items for me rather than put on the truck) and their own blankets and straps to assist in the move. They didn't mess around at all - arrived 15 minutes early (actually beat me there by a minute or two) and got to work immediately. They did a great job of taking care of all our stuff - and as a result , we didn't have any "casualties" in the move. They took better care packing our stuff than I did! I would absolutely hire them again - and would reccoemnd them to anyone else that asks. Thanks again Bill!

Excellently. I called Bill at 10 AM and he was there at noon, as promised. I had told Bill that he and I could work together to move the cabinet, and he agreed; so I was Bill's "helper". The cabinet was heavier than anticipated, but with Bill's suggestions, he and I got it up the stairs with no dinged walls or strained backs. Bill's price was very fair. From both a safety and efficiency perspective, I'm glad I picked up the phone and called Bill. I will use him again when needed and will recommend him to others.

In both moves, Bill and his helpers were punctual, courteous and professional. The price was fair. They were willing to do whatever needed to be done, were very easy to work with and very accomodating with regard to my schedules. It went well. I contacted Perfect for Small Moves a few days before the service was rendered. Mr. Lamb was responsive and accommodated my schedule to provide assistance on a Sunday afternoon. Mr. Lamb and his assistant, Jose, showed up on time and wrapped the furniture pieces and loaded everything on the box truck. The items were transported from my home to a nearby storage facility. Everything was offloaded carefully and placed in the storage space. I was pleased with the high level of professionalism. Well done!

I have never worked with a more professional moving group. Efficient, organized, took extreme care of our furniture and belongings. They did not even take a break until I insisted they drink some water. Highly competent! I would definately use again and will refer them. I am a realtor and i have working with many moving companies. Mr. Lamb and his team were exceptional. Very fair pricing too!

They did great!! Our sofas were too big to go up the stairs, so the movers had to carry them out the back door and around to the front door and vice versus with the one going downstairs. I was very concerned about the leather sofas getting scratched going in and out the narrow doors. The team from the Perfect for Small Moves Company wrapped the sofas in blankets and then wrapped them in plastic. The sofas went out the doors without a problem and were moved with no scratches or bumps on the walls. I was very impressed with their work, so much better than the national movers I have used over the years.

Bill was so great and professional. His experience showed in how he focused and managed my move. He picked up the materials I needed and just added the expense to the final bill, and he did not charge a fee for that. His pricing is fair, especially for the experience you get.
