He and his co-worker were prompt, punctual and polite. They brought the correct equipment. Everything was placed where requested. The quote he gave was accurate. No hidden fees. All in all, a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend.

They were wonderful. Bill Lamb was responsive when first contacted and worked with me to coordinate schedules for the move. He was extremely professional and stayed in touch with emails, phone calls and text messages to plan and confirm the move. The day of the move, he was right on time. He and his partner took such special care of the china cabinet. They wrapped it with moving blankets/pads and then in plastic wrap to ensure that it was secure for the move. They unwrapped it at the end location, placed the cabinet and left no mess. I highly recommend this company. Their attention to detail and professionalism gave me peace of mind and made the move effortless.

Excellent work ethic; great organization skills: proficient in moving techniques; calmly and quietly takes charge and is in command of the entire operation; efficient and careful not to hurt furniture or house (floors, walls, etc); professional and business-like demeanor with good communication skills; highly respected by his crew. I feel I lucked out when I blindly found Bill from his ad on Craig's List and hired him to move my things from one house to another. He is honest, his prices are more than reasonable, he gets the job done and does it well. I cannot say enough about what a good experience it was to put my moving needs in Bill's hands. I needed to move my grandfather's sliding glass-front law book case to my new house and was very concerned it would not make the trip intact. The bookcase was old, fragile, put together by pegs, and had to be taken apart in 4 pieces. Bill expertly disassembled and reassembled my priceless antique with such care and precision that you would have thought it belonged to HIS grandfather, not mine! This is just one example of many others that shows why I appreciated having Bill move my things and the trust and confidence I have in his abilities. One of the great things about finding Bill is that I no longer feel I have to call on my very busy family members to move household things for me. Instead of waiting until they can lend a hand, I will now call Bill to do the work. I plan to call him again soon to move some heavy things from upstairs to the basement, to move some heavy yard furniture and pots of plants in the garden, and also to transport some furniture to my son's house. Bill is a one-of-a-kind find. I would recommend him highly and without reservation to family, friends, and to anyone contemplating either a large or a small move. You will not be disappointed if you ask him to coordinate and carry out your large and small moving needs.

I called Mr. Lamb for a last minute move, and he was there at my request in only one hour. He and his co-worker worked non-stop through the rain to load up my boxed things in Swannanoa, NC. Then they both drove 30 minutes to Marion, NC where again they both worked non-stop in the rain to unload my things in the house I moved to. Both of them knew exactly what to take first and were very careful as well as organized in loading and unloading my belongings. I would definitely use Mr. Lamb's Moving Services again and recommend them to my friends and family.

I was impressed with the fact that they showed up BEFORE I got there with the moving truck. They assessed the job, decided the best way to load the truck, created a strategy for staging the heavy items, the boxes, the smalls and all the fragiles that were not completely wrapped (like the lamps) and began very methodically placing things in the truck like a giant jigsaw puzzle. By the time they were finished, everything fit together perfectly. Because of the due diligence they took in the pre-loading, there was no breakage or damage to any of my pieces, including some of my antique furnishings that had glass fronts and glass shelves. I was impressed since I move frequently and always sustain some level of damage. These guys got 5 stars for being careful!!! This company also has a website and I left a review on their website and said this: ?I chose Bill to be my mover based on the testimonies I read from others. He was reliable and very affordable. In fact, his initial quote to move me turned out to be too low but he never changed his quote. I ended up giving him double what he quoted because he deserved it. Plan on extra time for the entire loading and unloading of the truck because he is so meticulous and detail oriented but we got through the move with zero damage!? ?Cheryl P. It couldn't have been better as Bill is both professional and courteous. He is punctual to a fault. You couldn't ask for a more pleasant guy to work with than Bill. His moving abilities are experienced and did not damage ANYTHING. For any future moves I'll always call Bill.
