Maple Leaf Rain Gutter Service Inc

I found their name in Angie's List, which gave me the option for an on-line quote. I selected that option, but Maple Leaf advised me they do not give on-line quotes and referred me to their website. I then contacted them directly and received a response that it would cost $150 for a house under 3,000 Sq. Ft.. I then asked about the 10% senior discount offered on the Angie's List website. Maple Leaf then responded as follows: "We no longer offer discounted pricing during our seasonal cleanings. We would honor the same regular price as we listed in your previous service in 2009 at $230. We have never advertised any Angie’s List discount, nor do we take orders through Angie’s List." First, $230 is an outrageous price, when everyone else is charging about $150 and it is a lie that I used their services at that price in 2009. The second lie is that they have never advertised a discount on Angie's List. I will be contacting Angie's List management about removing them from their website.

They cleaned the gutters and left no trace they had done the job. They listened to some issues I had noticed and resolved them to my satisfaction. They were great.

I needed a company that would do a 3 story townhouse and they were the only ones that answered and said they could do it. They told me upfont that considering they needed to use a 40" ladder that the additional cost would be $20, which I had no problem paying. I picked a day, they came out while I was at work, did the job and left a hang tag on my front door. I was able to pay via the address for the internet provided on the hang tag. Would I use them again, YES, DEFINITELY!

Everything went great. I live in a townhouse, and have a 3 story front, so a longer ladder is needed. Most of the companies I called could not do it, but Maple Leaf said yes. They charge a little bit more for having to use the longer ladder, but it was well worth it. Did not need to be home, and they left the invoice hanging on my front door handle.

Our family used this provider in the past several times. In the past, we appreciated their pricing, honesty, and report of any problems they found. Then all of a sudden, the company changed. This fall, they wanted to double the price for a pre-existing customer (that they say they will not do) because of the material that our roof is made out of (which by the way has not changed since we last used, or ever during their visits). They wanted to charge nearly double for a small townhouse roof because they determined that they could not walk over the roof to save their company time and had to carry ladders a few feet around the townhouse (something they had always done in the past anyway). Their visits have always been less than 15 minutes, so we complained and asked why. They offered to give us the old price back for one visit and then walked across our roof while we were home! Then when we complained that they violated their company policy to not walk on our roof and still spent the same amount of time the individual who responded in writing, mind you, says it is "human nature because their employees work on commission" and they are "sure" that since the employee was a roofer that even though he violated their policy he did a complete job and knew what he was doing. BEWARE if you have anything other than an asphalt roof or live in a house...they will try to charge you double. We feel that they should have offered a full refund for violating their company's policy and threatening to charge double for our next visit. Particularly since our neighbors have people who do the work for much less. Guess they don't care about retaining customers and all work on commission from customer service to their workers.

Maple Leaf put new gutters on my house nearly 15 years ago and I've been with them since for minor repairs and annual cleaning and inspections. I've always been very happy with the job that they do. There were a number of times over the years that I seemed to "drop off" their service list and I had to reach out to them and say "you forgot about me... again," but it's always been resolved to my satisfaction, but I've got to give them a B for responsiveness for that reason. I have no problem recommending them to my friends and neighbors, and in fact have done so many times over the years.

They provide superior service. Their crew members are professional and always knock on the door before starting the service. Their service is excellent. Ryan, the owner, is very polite and quick to respond to emails. This last time, they had promised me to perform the service by the end of the day on 12/20/2014. It was a Saturday, and by mid-day, they were not at my property, so told myself, they are not going to make it. However, they proved me wrong. They showed up just before sunset and finished the job. Maple Leaf keeps its promise!!! Quality service!!!

The cost is $209 for each cleaning for a large house. It is a very tall house too because it has high ceilings on three levels. It is simple to use. They e-mail you when their next service is coming up, then, you pre-pay, and then, they come. They always do come even if you pre-pay. The reason they do pre-payment is because people would forget to cancel the contract when they moved. So, they would go and clean somebody's gutters, but they did not live there anymore and the new owner had not been contracted for it.

Very punctual and did a very good, thorough job. The scheduling and payment systems worked very well. I would use them again!

Our gutters were overflowing during the heavy rains earlier this summer so I called Maple Leaf based on their excellent reviews. By the time I called they had many appointments ahead of me but their service was worth the wait. They quickly cleared the gutters on my 2-story house and cleaned up all the mess. Their price was exactly what they said it would be. It's pouring rain now and the gutters are working just fine. Maple Leaf will be my choice for future gutter cleaning.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. I e-mailed them a few pictures to let them know what has to be done, the time frame I need it done and the price I am willing to pay and they responded promptly (by e-mail) and our gutters were cleaned and fixed quickly and perfectly. The area around our house was cleaned up and the worker showed me pictures he had taken on his phone of 2 problem areas. I liked the whole interaction. No phone call was needed, no sales pressure, no change in price after the job was done. They just answered my e-mail, showed up with beautiful Maple Leaf sweatshirts and did the job I asked them to do (and more). The next business day their office e-mailed me an invoice with the previously agreed price. There were no surprises. Job well done.

I called Maple Leaf a few weeks ago (right before one of the snow storms) and they promised to put me on the list for gutter cleaning. The receptionist explained that due to the snow, they were running a bit behind. On Wednesday, they showed up and did a great job with the gutters. They kept the deck area under the roof clean and had no problems with my super high roof (we are situated on a steep hill and many gutter cleaners will not work on our house).

The service is especially nice after the leaves have finished falling but before winter hits. Helps prevent ice dams on the roof.

Appointment was easy to set up. One of their teams came whilst we were out and cleaned the gutters. They left a note to say the rear gutter needed replacement. We contacted the company about this but they don't do gutter replacement themselves so we had to find another contractor.

Requested an appointment online one evening. I received an immediate acknowledgement of my request via email, but no appointment time. Cleaners showed up around 9am the next morning, with no heads up. A+ for timeliness; D for communication. Thankfully I was home at the time they showed up. Guys seemed to do a good job and were in and out in about 30 mins. They also hammered my gutters back in; a couple spots had separated from the house slightly. Glad that they were able to spot this problem on their own and correct it. I'm sure I could find someone cheaper, but these guys seemed to do a good job.

Very prompt and efficient. We were out when the gutters were cleaned and arrived home to find clean gutters and a nicely swept sidewalk.

They are extremely professional. They do their work on a seasonal basis. They wait until the work needs to be done. They do a really good job. They can also point out things that need to be fixed.

Used the Maple Leaf website to set up an appointment to have gutters cleaned. They arrived the day scheduled and completed the work. I was not home at the time but they did the work anyway. The cleaned up the mess and actually the only way I noticed that they had been at my house was that I noted that someone had swept up my back deck. They mailed me an invoice and I paid by check. Overall very hassle free. My one issue is that I also have a detached garage with gutters. I had cleaned them myself about a week earlier so there was only minimal debris that had collected by the time they had come to conduct the service. I am not certain if they did not clean these gutters because they were already basically clean or if they just skipped them altogether. If they had gone ahead and cleaned them anyway I would have given them a superb rating. They also gave me the option to become part of their regularly scheduled program that will clean your gutters twice a year so I subscribed. As part of this program in the spring they sent me an email and invoice. I sent them a check to prepay for the spring cleaning. They invoice stated that they would come between later May and early June for the summer cleaning. Since this is being written in early May, I have not had experience with this prepaid service plan. On a side note, I had three companies give me an estimate on various types of gutter guards to avoid this type of regular gutter cleaning work all together. However, the cost of the gutter guards would equal 11.5 years of using this type of service. Therefore this is the more economical choice as I would not recoup my investment on the gutter guards for close to 12 years and suspect that even then the gutter guards, if not the gutters themselves, would probably need to be replaced making this service the cheaper choice.

I don't know when they came or if they even set a time to come out. They did the work when I wasn't home. I don't pay don't much attention gutters to be frank. There are a lot of trees around my home, so the best I can say is that my gutters are clean!

During the process of cleaning our gutters, the servicemen blew the gutter debris all over our cars, patio,front steps and driveway. They were supposed to contain the gutter debris. We had just had our driveway and patio cleaned for the Thanksgiving holiday. They tried to clean it up with blowers, but the dirt remained on all the window sills as well as many other areas of the house leaving it a mess. There response after our complaint was to become very defensive. They finally offered to refund our money after several unpleasant phone calls. We did not accept a refund and told them we would not use their services again. For the price we paid to have out gutters cleaned, we felt that the sloppiness of their work was unacceptable. They did not move to resolve this problem quickly and pleasantly in order to maintain good customer relations.

It's always great with them. I've used them at two different homes, and they've always been thorough, professional, and reliable. They give you a checklist after they're done and show what they've done and whether they've noted any problems anywhere on your roof - a nice service! When they installed the screen guards, they told me I might not need spring service - just fall. So, they're deeply honest. I really wouldn't use anybody else.

Company overall was excellent to work with. I arranged the service online and they gave me a discounted rate of $125. Called me to confirm, and helpfully talked me through how the service call would work. Work was done with no fuss and the company had an easy online payment system. Would definitely use them again!

Overall work was very satisfactory. They were on time and didn't rush through the job. They were sure to capture all the leaves and didn't leave them in the drive or lawn. They were care not to damage anything with the large ladders. They used their leave blowers to clear off the roof as well.

This is the second time we've used them and have been pleased both times. They are prompt, responsive, thorough, and neat.
