He gave me his private cell number and we were to make plans a couple of days later for him to look at the job. So when I didn't hear from him I called him and he said I had the wrong number! I checked it against the one he gave me and the one that was in my past calls and it was not the wrong number. I don't know what kind of game he plays but it cost me valuable time. It seems their was no other handy men on Angie list.

Jim was very polite. He took his job seriously. Gave him 4 stars because he needs to return for some touch up painting. He was very need.

Meticulous. Project had its challenges and contractor thought them through before taking them on. Was also careful of wood floors, furniture, etc. Wood hire again and again.

James came right over and did a great job adjusting our shower door, fixed some flooring and installed a door knob. Highly recommended.

Jim Gibala was great. He came in and gave us an estimate and then when he came back to do the job I started adding extra painting, which he did. He gave us exactly what we wanted. Everything looks good. They painted both bathrooms including the ceilings, 2 large walls, the kitchen and ceiling, hallway and entry and ceilings and also the ugly red brick fireplace is now white - ish and it is gorgeous. He also did some caulking for us. Oh I almost forgot - His first day on the job he noticed some small patches of mold in the one of the bathrooms which concerned him. He suggested we replace the fan/vent/light ceiling fixture. On top of replacing the unit, he went into the attic and cleaned the vent as well. And bonus - the new fan is much quieter with a better light. We will have him back when we do our next painting job.
