I had my Hoover Bagless vacuum for years. While I thought I was keeping it quite cleaned---it finally stopped working properly. I took it to Vacuum Zone for an estimate--which I received back the same day. One of the filters needed to be replaced & there was a lot of clogs within the unit. The service man I dealt with was very friendly & knowledgeable. He was able to get it back working like new within a few days.

I was very pleased with the service at the Vacuum Zone. The owner explained what needed to be done, quoted me a price and had my vacuum cleaned and repaired running like new 2 days later. Excellent service, highly recommended.

Description of Work: I accidentally sucked a piece of clothing into the hose of my canister vacuum and it got stuck. Then I tried to use a hanger (a no-no) to free the clothing and it got stuck. They fixed the issue promptly and I used a local coupon for the service.

Very well. I have bought at least 3 vacuums from Vacuum Zone and have serviced two of them there. Ahmad is professional, identified the problem very quickly and gave me a fair estimate. Turnaround time was quick. More importantly the repair was done correctly. I have absolutely no complaints, and I will continue to go to Vaccum zone for all my needs. I don't really live close to them, could have taken the vacuum cleaner to a another place but to me it is worth the drive. Whether you are buying new and want some professioanl advice go here. Or whether you have a problem and want it fixed correclty, go here.

A painting contractor used my vacuum to clean up after he finished painting. The vacuum never worked right after that. I took it to Vacuum Zone In Burke and found it was clogged up with debris from the painter. It was thoroughly cleaned, some parts replaced,, and returned to me in tip top shape when he said it would be. I was very impressed with his honesty and timeliness. Also the price was much less than I expected for the amount of work he did.. I would definitely go back whenever I need work done again.

In January 2014, I purchased a Miele Olympus canister vacuum, plus a hardwood floor attachment, from Vacuum Zone in Burke, VA. Prior to purchase, I researched local Miele retailers on the internet. I identified Vacuum Zone as a nearby retailer, noting their return policy of 30 days. Upon return home and short use of the vacuum, decided that I did not care for several features of the unit and that I wanted to upgraded to a higher level (and more expensive) model. I contacted the store where I had purchased the vacuum the very next day and was told all sales are final and that I may not return the vacuum for refund or exchange. I explained that the company internet site stated the policy was a 30 day money back guarantee. This website lists the Vacuum Zone retail locations, and makes no statements that the policies listed on the website do not apply to the retail locations. The response I received was that the “website is not active” and that there is a sign in the store that says all sales are final. I stated that the website is “active” (www.vacuumzone.com), and that I had not noticed the sign that states all sales are final (there are many signs and displays in the store). I further stated that, given the expense of the item, they should verbally inform their customers prior to purchase that the item may not be returned rather than assume their customers will note the sign in the store. However, Vacuum Zone continued to refuse to refund or exchange my purchase. Upon ending my conversation with Vacuum Zone, I went to their website and captured screenshots of the page with their stated return policy. Several days later, I noted that they have changed their website to say “All prices, coupons and policies are not valid and are not in effect at any location until further notice.” It used to say: 30 Day Money Back Guarantee! At Vacuum Zone, we offer a 30 day money back guarantee on all purchases. We want to make sure your vacuum does indeed fit your needs. On all vacuums, you have 30 days to return the item for either exchange or refund. We do require that you simply ship it back to us with the vacuum in like new and acceptable condition. Damage to the merchandise due to abuse is unacceptable. We do understand that there may be wear and tear on the shipping box which is not a factor. After 30 days, all defects and repairs are covered under the vacuum manufacturer's warranty. Remember that we want you to be satisfied not only with your purchase but your whole experience with Vacuum Zone. Refunds On refunds, there is a nominal $15.00 restocking fee. Accessory vacuums such as bags, belts, filters, and tools should all be returned as well or they will be deducted from the refund. Credits will be performed within 5 days after returned items are received and inspected.

.The service was done in a timely manner. I have been going to the Vacuum Zone for over 15 years to purchase or service vacuum cleaners. I also buy my laundary detergent there so I am in the store frequently. Mr Ahmad is always there and the place always smells clean and fresh. I wish I could find other places that could measure up.

I was very pleased with my experience. I was given an estimate and approximate time it would take to tune up my vacuum cleaner and replace the hose and brush. I think the price was fair, considering the parts that needed replacement. The work was done on time and my vacuum cleaner is working fine now. Now I need to bring in my other vacuum for a tune up!

I went into Vacuum Zone to buy a vacuum to deal with construction dust that has spread throughout my home during an ongoing remodel. The manager suggested a Carpet Pro backpack for $499. I was surprised that he didn't think I should get a hepa vacuum since I told him that we have family members living in the home who have asthma and lung disease. His answer was that I should buy the Carpet Pro now, and after the remodel is over, come back and buy a Miele. I told him that I would think about it and get back with him. As I was leaving, he said,and quot;our prices are even lower than what you can find on Amazon.and quot; I checked. Amazon offers the same vacuum for $319 (free shipping), and Sears has it for $289. Another vacuum store in Fairfax has it on their website for $319. I had been willing to pay a bit more to support a local business with people who are knowledgeable about vacuums, and because I'd be able to bring it home today. Unfortunately, I won't do business with someone who promotes a product that, on further investigation doesn't seem right for the job, and then tops it off by lying to me.

My husband took our vacuum cleaner (a Kenmore Progressive) in for servicing on September 25, 2011. When he removed the vacuum from the car, he noticed the Handi-mate Jr. attachment had fallen off the vacuum and replaced it before entering the shop. When my husband picked the vacuum up a week later, the Handi-mate Jr. was missing. He asked about it and the owner told him he didn't think it had come in with one. My husband paid for the repair, took the vacuum and left. I called and inquired about the missing part a few days later. The clerk said he'd look and call me back. He did call back an hour later, saying he'd search and couldn't find it, and the owner searched separately but couldn't find it either. My husband knows he brought the part into the shop. When I explained this, the clerk said there was nothing he could do. I asked that the owner contact me to resolve the situation. He did not call. BOTTOM LINE: Not only is this business careless with the equipment it receives for repair, its owner does not bother to try and resolve problems. In my opinion, this is sleazy behavior and they won't get our business any more. They shouldn't get yours either.

My Miele vacuum had stopped working. Brought it to the Vacuum Zone in Burke, VA. It is a bit of a distance from my house, but figured I would drop by after work. It was a good decisions to bring it there. The vacuum is now running optimal for it's age. The staff is very professional and provided timely service.

Vacuum Zone was very helpful. Vacuum Zone checked-over/tuned-up my Kenmore canister vacuum. A broken attachment, used to vacuum upholstery and stairs, could not be repaired and would be costly to replace. Vacuum Zone recommended the purchase of a less expensive brushroller to effectively replace my broken attachment. In addition, Vacuum Zone stocks a wide variety of replacement bags and filters for my machine.

Description of Work: The power head of our tank vacuum cleaner had ceased to function. We took the vacuum to our local Vacuum Zone shop. We were given an idea of the problem, but asked that they give an estimate for repair. The estimate was what was charged and included the replacement of the hose and power handle, the filters, and a tuneup of the vacuum. The work was completed ahead of schedule and has proved to be well done.
