Once the scope of work was understood (pictures shared) I was provided and estimate for the three small projects I had. I called Shawn at TexMedix. He came the same day and was able get my computer running again without lose of any data and at the same time improving its performance. He also was able to do some minor fixes to my wife's computer and answer my questions while waiting for changes to my computer to take hold. It couldn't have been a more satisfying experience. I have used TechMedx for my personal computer problems for at least five years after using other computer service companies. They have never failed to solve my problem. TexHedix is a two person company, Dawn handles all the less difficult problems that can be solved remotely. Shawn handles the most difficult problems that can't be addressed on line. I have never failed to have my problem solved. I have also learned a lot from both of them. They are worth every penny.

The work went well: 30 minutes to plug the drive into available electrical sockets and cable outlets, connect the drive to the iMac, and install the software. Following installation, the technician showed me how to open the drive to insert a disk. He also showed me how the drive appeared on the screen. The technician was also a good conversationalist and engaged me in productive discussion about various subjects while working on the task at hand.

Very well. Shawn was on-time for his appointments to my house, and I got the sense he wasn't trying to sell me anything I didn't need.

I love them. He is the nicest guy. Sean has been to my house many times. I have had alot of phone conversation with him. He is the best. I had verizon.net and aol was taking over verizon.net. He ad to re-do my email. He charged by the quarter hour. It wasn't a whole heck of a lot. I think it is a standard rate. I have been a customer for a long time. I can't remember; it was under a $100.00. He billed me by the quarter hour. Sean is the guy. He owns the company. He comes out and he knows computers. He just knows everything about computers. Some people are into sports; he is into computers. He just knows everything and he can fix it. Alot of times he can fix it on the spot and which 99 percent of times that has happened, but once in a while he has had to take my unit back to the shop to work on because it was an extensive chang-over or something. He just does everything. He explains everything. He is just very nice, clean. His wife works on the phones, and she is just very nice too. He comes to the house.

Shawn is the ultimate electronic professional. He not only disconnected everything, he explained everything he was doing. He set aside items we needed to return to our former cell carrier. He organized things we'd need in our new house so they'd be accessible and easy to use. He made everything understandable.

Shawn Wyatt was terrific. He immediately diagnosed the problem - a damaged hard drive - and clearly informed me of the most efficient way to remedy the problem and retrieve my data. He took the computer with him and returned it the next day, This quick turnaround was necessary because the laptop is my primary business computer. The computer now runs flawlessly. I also had Shawn set up a new router for my home. He handled this expertly. He is now my go-to guy for any and all computer and computer-related issues. Great work!!

It didn't go well... wasted $65; what was suggested is not what I wanted but what he stated he could do. He also wanted to put holes in the wall to run cables, when other vendors stated they could use the existing cable or cat6 to each out let. Also, I was told I would receive a conformation email and missed our first appointment. Later, I was told that was something they don't do, but when I asked why did the receptionist ask for my email; no one knew.

I will use them for all my computer service needs in the future. So happy to have found TechMedX. I plan to hire them for their monthly-service-option as soon as my Dell support service expires.
