TechMedX is a totally professional operation--from calling in to their office to set up an appointment, to the in-home service and repair. Punctual, courteous, expert service from start to finish. I've used the usual computer service outfits, and they just don't measure up to the expertise and personalized customer service that TechMedX provides. In my experience, there's no one out there more knowledgeable, more adept at to "fixing the problems," and more able to deliver great outcomes, than Shawn, the company's owner. A totally first-rate firm.

Shawn made the necessary connections and told us how to/and how not to connect things if we loose the connections again. He answered two non-printer related technical questions for us.

Everything went unbelievably well, far beyond my expectations and far below the anticipated cost. On his initial visit, the highly capable and knowledgeable computer technician, Shawn Wyatt, expertly connected and set up my new all-in-one printer to work with USB and Wi-Fi connections on two PCs, as well as Airprint on my iPad. The HP software for that printer does not include an option to display a preview before printing, so he installed PrimoPDF and showed me how to use it as a very satisfactory print preview mechanism. On my request, Shawn diagnosed and fixed a longstanding system problem I was having with restart and shutdown on the older PC. He then tested the sluggish hard drive and confirmed that it was failing -- in part because the PC had so little RAM that the hard disk had been constantly overloading with temporary storage in order to compensate. So I asked him to order a new hard disk and a lot of additional memory. He also spent some time showing me how to get the most out of my recently installed Windows 10 OS on the newer PC. My total cost for that very productive initial two-hour visit ? printer setup and a variety of helpful suggestions, diagnoses, and fixes ? amounted to $185 including the $25 travel fee. A couple of weeks later, after the new parts he ordered had arrived at the TechMedX shop, Shawn picked up the older PC and took it back to the shop to clone and replace the failing hard disk and install the extra memory. My total cost this time around for all the expert labor, travel time, new parts (1 TB internal drive and 8 GB of additional RAM) and reinstallation and testing of the PC was around $330, or nearly 40% below the initial estimate. I should add that everything I requested and all the visits to my home were completed on time or earlier, and it was a great pleasure dealing with the helpful and friendly staff of TechMedX ? both Shawn in the field and Dawn at the office. I highly recommend the company's services.

Since I've had TechMedX accomplish my personal home IT services and Computer repair about 1.5 years ago, our home PC's and printers are working like new and remaining that way. I purchased a managed service plan (they offer 3 x different levels of service) to maintain my systems in excellent, working condition. I've also scheduled periodic home service calls to assess quickly and repair PC specific issue(s), all accomplished within 2 hours and at a reasonable cost. I've had them remove /add new software, check configuration and enable wireless printing to a few printers to name a few things. I also receive periodic emails providing professional advice on PC related issues, do's/don'ts for ensuring your equipment is performing at it's best. Planning in the future have them take my old hardware/hard drives, later they wipe/destroy;they also take all hardware and wires/cables/peripheral away for recycle/disposal. Shawn and Dawn of TechMedX are fantastic in providing both great customer service and professional IT support for my PC's and peripherals and I couldn't be happier. They are my 'home IT enterprise support for my PC's and IT needs!

After an overnight upgrade to Window 10, one of the user accounts on my home computer would not open and only told me it was because Windows "couldn't connect to the Group Policy service." It also told me to consult with my system administrator. Unfortunately, at home, that's me. I've solved most of my computer issues with some internet research but this time the solution appeared to require a change to my computer register which is way beyond my computer skills. I found Tech MedX highly recommended on Angie's List and gave them a call. They helped me the same day. They were very helpful in making sure I knew when Shawn, the technician, would arrive. Upon arrival, Shawn promptly analyzed the user profile problem and corrected it. Taking advantage of the fact that I had an expert in the house, I asked him to install an upgraded modem and check my external hard drive back-up system to make sure it was working. He was very efficient and professional and explained to me everything he was doing (and educated me on what to do next). I've found my go-to team for any future computer issues. P.S. They also address home electronics issues and I will use them for any I have in that area as well. Great service provider.

Shawn was patient, knowledgeable and an excellent teacher. When he left I was able to operate the system--thus far without difficulty. He said that I could call him if I needed additional assistance. Working with him was a pleasure and I highly recommend his services.

Great service call and support! Easily booked appointment with TechMedX ( Dawn) and Shawn who arrived earlier than scheduled time on day of appointment (this morning) to accomplish all services requested; get both the new Desktop and Laptop up and running with each of our individual accounts including all documents and files/programs. Documents and programs were transferred from the old Laptop to both of the new devises. Everything I needed done that you want a PC/IT professional done seamlessly was accomplished at a very reasonable price. We're very pleased with the great service rendered in the past year with our previous laptop and look forward to TechMedX being our "private, reliable IT support' for our home devises in the years to come.

Prompt arrival, very professional and helpful. TV turned out to be DOA after my move (was sick for a long time before the move). Shawn offered to waive trip fee if I purchased a new tv within 30 days. I ended up buying a TV after 30 days (from Big Screen Store, who hooks up as part of delivery service). But I will call TechMedX back to reconfigure the TV setup to another side of the room. My only gripe is having to pay a $25 trip fee when I live, literally, a mile away from their office.

I was very pleased with the service I received. I am using an older computer, and Shawn was honest about the problem and the prognosis for this machine. He worked for quite some time on the machine, and I thought the price I paid was very fair. He also offered to help when I decide to buy a new machine to be sure I get the features I need. I will most definitely call them again if I have problems with this machine or any machine in the future.

I called the provider because my computer wouldn't start. Not only did the provider correctly diagnose the problem as a failed hard drive and put in a new, high-end hard drive, but he also made sure there were no other problems with the computer and updated the drivers. First-rate!
