Tall Oaks Enterprises

Once again, Rick Pfeiffer of Tall Oaks Enterprises did a phenomenal job. The work was delayed by a couple of weeks but that was due to the large amount of rainfall we had at that time. Once he was able to do the work, it was done in 1 day and a few hours the next morning for mulch application.

I selected Tall Oaks Enterprises to install a flagstone patio in the backyard of my townhouse and couldn't be more pleased with the results! Rick spent at least an hour with me during the initial estimate, making sure he knew what I wanted, answering questions and taking the time to measure the dimensions of the backyard to provide a realistic estimate. I received detailed plans a week later (as stated); asked for a few changes to the design that were promptly made and a revised estimate was provided. These plans were sufficient to submit to my HOA for approval. The entire excavation/installation took just over a week. Rick and his crew were prompt, neat, and courteous every step of the way. Their work is of the highest quality and I would use them again in a heartbeat. I now have a lovely patio that has completely transformed my backyard.

They're a good company. They are very receptive about incorporating our ideas. They were very good when we changed the plans on them. They are very friendly, they're professional, friendly, and receptive to ideas and change. From the estimates we got, I would give the price an A. We plan to use them in the future.

Rick Pfeiffer (Tall Oaks Enterprises, LLC) was professional from start to finish. We got estimates from 4 different contractors; he was not the least expensive, but his price was fair and we felt most comfortable with his knowledge and demeanor. From his initial presentation and design, it was clear he was competent and "knew his stuff." He was helpful with suggestions, expert advice, and a complete description of what he would do. He was always responsive, called and showed up when he said he would, and when there was a storm, he let us know when work would resume. (The whole job took a little more than a week, as he estimated.) He was on the job site all the time with his crew and supervised them closely. Rick continually checked with us to see if we were pleased with progress and if we wanted any changes. He stayed on schedule and fulfilled or exceeded our expectations. Several neighbors checked his work as he progressed and he's been hired by a few of them already. An excellent experience overall.
