Despite a very busy schedule, Glen, came right over to check for possible water damage, verifying that there was no water damage. He worked our job in within the week. It was completed within the day and was tested by a lengthy torrential downpour, the next day. Our newly replaced skylights were put through quite a test with no leaks! Glen also noticed a dangerous electrical situation while up in the attic created by a recent contractor. He brought it to my attention and it was dealt with promptly. I was grateful for his observation and notification. Having had to replace a full set of tires before their time had expired during a recent remodel, the workers had dropped a lot of nails on our driveway, so all of the tires had nails in them, we were ecstatic to see Glen bring out a large magnet and scan for metal debris. All contractors should take note. He has many years of experience and a lot of knowledge to share. I'm happy to tell my friends and neighbors that Falcon Roofing was a great find.

It was good. I really thought they did a great job. They came out, addressed the issue and basically fixed it within the price of the deal. I already referred people within the community that lived there and I basically said that they do a good job. They are professional and show up on time. They tell you what they will do; they do it and they will tell you what they did which is what I look for in a contractor in general. I will definitely go back to them and get more work. Actually, I am waiting on when the roof is ready to be replaced, I will go back to them.

Glenn (the owner) inspected the roof thoroughly and discussed obvious and hidden problems. He made recommendations to address ice and snow drainage problems on north facing side of roof. He also accommodated my travel schedule to make sure the roof was done quickly. I would recommend Falcon Roofing to anyone needing quality roofing work in the Fairfax/Arlington area.

Two years ago I had Falcon Roofing Inc. repair some damage caused by a poorly installed satellite dish and had our (at that time) 23 year-old roof inspected. I chose them then because they were one of the top rated roofing companies in the area on Angie's List. Based on that experience, when it came time to have the entire roof replaced, I did not hesitate to call them again. And, although I am not likely to need their services in the foreseeable future, they would still be the ones I would call. Some of the main reasons include: -- I dealt directly with the owner, Glenn Schrank, whose integrity and craftsmanship are among the best. He obviously takes great pride in his company and in providing quality work at reasonable prices. -- The overall quality of the work was superior and the pricing competitive with no sales pressure. -- The crew that worked on the house was on time, highly efficient and professional, and friendly too. They took great care in keeping debris coming off the roof from potentially damaging shrubs, fixtures, outdoor furniture, etc. -- When cleanup was completed the work area was spotless. They even retrieved some plastic that blew into the woods behind the house I was certain they would miss, And, I lost count as to how many times they went over the ground with a magnetic rake to pick up nails from the original roof. -- Safety! Throughout the entire process Glenn emphasized customer and crew safety. -- All aspects of the job came about as Glenn had described. There were no surprises. I highly recommend Falcon Roofing Inc.

Glenn Schrank and his Falcon Roofing team were highly professional, knowledgeable, responsive and punctual. I had gotten a quote from another provider and Glenn beat it by A LOT! Not only that, but his service was excellent and he answered every question I had with patience and a great deal of expertise. The crew was very punctual; Glenn said they would arrive at 730 AM and they rang the door bell at exactly 730 AM. The finished the roof installation in one day and didn't leave until after 7 PM that same evening. I was worried about t he mess they made, but had no reason to be concerned. My garage and yard were cleaner after they left than before they arrived. Every bit of scrap was picked up and disposed of. I've dealt with many contractors who have left quite a mess and I found this to be highly impressive! FYI, a couple of hours ago I called Glenn since I thought my attic fan was too loud and was always running. He responded immediately and said he would be there in 30 minutes. Sure enough, he was here within 30 minutes. He's requesting a new fan from the vendor and will be back tomorrow afternoon to install it. Bottom line...I got a new roof at an unbeatable price with the confidence that it was installed by professional, experienced roofers and I would highly recommend Glenn and his team at any time!

It was good. They did a good job on that. They were very efficient and quick. I don’t remember any issues at all with them. I just remember that they came in, did the work and it was fine. The big deal was for $149. My memory was that the price was just that amount. They were supposed to check everything out and it was just a few things they had to replace. We got a special deal. We got a special rate for that. When we called them, they had such an overwhelming amount of people who had called. It was a couple of months before they could come out.

I would use them again in the future.

Great! I scheduled this for my Mom's house from afar (Indianapolis). Glenn was great to work with, the job was done well and in a single day and the cleanup was excellent!

We chose Falcon Roofing as they were one of the top Angie's List rated roofing companies in the area. The owner, Glenn Schrank, came out and got on the roof to measure and presented us with a reasonable price for a complete tear off and replacement. I mention this as we had another estimate for the roofing where the salesman did not get on the roof. The price was reasonable, and after visiting two houses that Falcon recently replaced roofs on, we pulled the trigger on the replacement. 7 days later Glenn and his crew were here to replace the roof. Honestly, I am a perfectionist when it comes to home repair and Falcon did not disappoint. The crew was very conscientious and courteous. Within an hour of arrival they had removed most of the top roof layer and were working feverishly. Late that afternoon, the crew had completed most of the roof on the house and cleaned up the area for the evening. They returned on Saturday morning, finished the job and were gone after lunch. Casual observance indicated that the installation was significantly in excess of the minimum required. Asking Glenn about this it was his philosophy that it was cheaper to overbuild (layers of ice dam around the vents, etc) than to have to come back and repair a leak and placate an unhappy customer. The crew replaced a cheesy home made skylight with a top quality Velux unit. The installation was a bit troublesome as the existing skylight was of a non-standard dimension and the tradesman had to make the flashing twice to get it to his satisfaction. Again, exceedingly high quality workmanship with attention to details to ensure the work was long lasting. This is exactly the type of philosophy that I espouse when doing my own work. The process went very well from start to finish. Glenn Schrank was responsive, knowledgeable and timely in giving us a detailed estimate and answering all our questions before we signed the contract. He did not try to sell us replacement plywood up front, which turned out to be a substantial savings in our case--when the old roof was removed and the plywood was inspected, none of it required replacement (another contractor had surmised that it was badly damaged and proposed that it should all be replaced). The materials arrived and work began and was completed on schedule. The cleanup was particularly thorough--we were impressed! We will definitely contact Falcon Roofing with any future needs.

I needed a leak repaired in the roof over my garage. After checking Angie's List, I chose Falcon Roofing and am glad I did. Glenn Schrank answered the phone and I describe my problem. He explained that his schedule was quite busy but he promised to add my name to his list and get to me as soon as he could. It took a few weeks, but he kept his promise and examined the problem area over my garage. It did not take long to find the source of the leak which he then repaired. He also estimated the remaining life of my roof and provided an approximate cost to replace it. I was delighted with his professionalism and competence. I plan to use Falcon Roofing when it comes time to replace my roof and would recommend them without reservation.

Glenn and his team are very professional, punctual and willing to work around schedules. We had our roof and gutters replaced in one day and it was a very positive experience. Glenn, the owner, came onsite with the tile samples, helped us pick the right color for our house , and was onsite with his team when they replaced the roof. I can see why they are so highly rated on Angie's list. Great job!

I sold my home and no longer needed this deal

We were very pleased with not only the end result but with the process. Glenn was responsive in providing a quote and sample shingles from which to select a color. He explained the quality features and described the myth of "lifetime roofs "which are offered by many roofers. When Glenn came out to the house to prepare an estimate, he found an active wasps' nest which prevented him from working safely on the roof. We had the nest removed and he came back out to replace the roof. He had the materials dropped off one day and then took two days to complete all work. Our neighbors commented on how nice the roof looked, before i even got home. When I saw the roof I was very pleased with the look. I was pleased with how quickly the work was completed. Glenn had his crew go over the yard with a magnet in order to pick up any stray nails. Overall, we couldn't have been more happy with the process and the outcome. It was less expensive than we expected, but the final product was top quality. We would highly recommend Glenn and Falcon Roofing to anyone interested in having roofing or gutter service performed.

Glenn came to provide an estimate. He provided some excellent advice, even though it may have cost him some work. I greatly appreciated his honesty. When the time comes to replace my roof, I will definitely contact this company.

Called Falcon originally due to roof leak. Glenn fixed leak for free and quoted a new roof. After contacting previous owners, determined roof was at least 20 years old and was ready for replacement. Falcon provided a very fair quote for the roof. Glenn recommended replacing the gutters, but I was looking for the gutter color to match the color of the house. I was open to repainting the gutters, but Glenn was very firm that the gutters should not be painted, even though that meant lost business for him. I appreciated his honesty. No issues with the quality of the new roof. Found some nails on one corner of the house after the job, but Glenn warned that even after his crew ran the magnets there would still be nails to be found. Overall very happy with experience with Falcon.

My current gutters have seams and were leaking every rainfall. In addition, every winter the snow melt would also leak from the seams and cause icy spots on my front porch. The downspouts also had 1-2 obstructions which were causing overflows on two corner of the house. Time for replacement. I contacted Falcon Roofing Inc to replace my existing gutters with oversized gutters and downspouts. Falcon had previously repaired my roof, and performed excellent work. Falcon was one of three estimates I received, and came up in the middle as far as price. Since all three estimates were for the same job (same aluminum thickness, white color, and oversized downspouts/gutters), I wanted to keep my business with a high A' rater on Angieslist and someone who had done excellent work for me previously. Glenn, the owner, showed up at 8:30 am on the day of the scheduled work. A two man crew removed the old gutters and installed new ones within two hours. They cleaned up the old gutters and any scrap around the house. The four downspouts were directly connected to my existing water drainage system with the right sized adapters. Since the install, it has rained heavily three times. The gutters properly drained and handled the water as expected. I am happy with the work, the quick install, and the price.

Falcon's men came out and took great pictures to show how the roof trim had rotted and that's what was causing the leak. It was where the garage roof met more siding to the upper level of the house and I couldn't see that from the ground. They replaced and painted the wood and did a better job sealing the wood where it meets the shingles. Apparently the original roofer from the previous owner performed a careless or negligent job of sealing.

The job went well. Glenn and his team were on time and got the job done in one day. In addition to doing the roof, we had the gutters replaced and Glenn spent some time with us coming up with alternatives for moving the water away from the house--we had some tricky aspects. He also looked at some other things with our brickwork/masonry and while this isn't the kind of job that Falcon does, it was helpful to hear a knowledgeable opinion that was free of any self-interest. With a couple of small exceptions the clean up was well done and so far we are happy with the roof, although it has barely rained since we had the job done (!) I believe the price was fair although we actually didn't get other quotes I'd recommend Falcon

, As I already mentioned, they did a great job removing the old and putting on the new shingles, installing the new skylight and cleaning up after themselves. Very friendly, helpful and professional. I have no complaints.
