The work has gone really well (our roof was replaced yesterday and the gutters will be once the rain stops). Our new roof looks beautiful. We got several estimates, and Falcon Roofing was the best deal, price-wise as well as how soon they could start. Glenn is very attentive to detail and took the time to explain everything, even things I wouldn't think to ask. He never gives the sense he's trying to nickel and dime you; quite to the contrary, little costs arose here and there during the project that he waived for us. Customer service: Glen personally inspected the property and prepared the estimate. He provided a detailed explanation of the work he proposed to do and the benefits that each aspect, e.g. the ice and water shield, would provide my house. He focused on features that were practical and attractive, and he did not try to sell me a lot of things I didn't need. He scheduled the roofing for the week after I signed the contract. Glen and his team performed the work on the day he said they would, and they finished everything in one day. Price: I felt I got a reasonable price. No pushy salesmanship, no sleazy tactics or haggling, just honest, up-front, fair pricing. Glen gave me the Angie's List discount even though my roof was too small to qualify. Workmanship: I'm no roofing expert, but I'm very pleased with the new roof and gutters. Everything looks great, and Glen and his team made multiple functional improvements that will allow my new roof and gutters to better handle ice and water than my previous roof did. They also made several extra touch-ups, such as painting the exhaust pipes, that were not part of the contract but improved the appearance of the house. They clearly take pride in their work and wanted to leave my house not only with a high-functioning roof but also looking its best. Clean-up: They cleaned up meticulously. I wish every contractor did such a thorough job.

Went great. Glenn is a straight shooter and provided an honest recommendation without trying to over sell anything. He explained the install process and materials in detail and the realities of the roof warranty. His price was the best of three reputable roofing companies. Install went great. His team was able to get the roof on within one week of signing the contract unlike other companies which offered at best one month turn around. Glenn was on site supervising for the entire one day installation. I'm confident that the roof will last us for a solid 20 years.

About a year or so ago, we had small leak. Glenn Shrank (Falcon's owner) sealed it for us personally at no cost and gave us an estimate of our roof's remaining life and a rough idea of what it would cost to replace. We really appreciated his kindness and the time he spent educating us so that we could plan for the inevitable. So, when the recent hailstorm damaged our roof, we called him for a detailed estimate. We also had the company being used by many of our neighbors give us an estimate. We went with Falcon for 4 reasons. 1) Glenn is honest, direct and won't try to up sell you, 2) his prices are reasonable, 3) his Angie's reviews are excellent and (4) schedule. The job was just completed last week and we are very pleased. The team worked very hard and managed to get it done in 2 cold, winter days. They were very attentive to safety. Glenn was the last one to leave making absolutely sure everything outside was clean and in order. I would happily use Falcon again and have already referred several of my neighbors.

The job was completed in two days with expert efficiency in removing existing shingles, replacing damaged plywood, adding new roofing throughout with meticulous clean-up and haul-away. Glenn Schrank, the owner, was consistently punctual in arriving for all planned times from the estimate, job completion and follow-up. He was quick in responding to emails, voicemails,and calls throughout the job process and follow-up. Glenn Schrank clearly and precisely communicated all aspects covered in the estimates as well as in each process of the installation. Explanations of each procedure were clearly presented and questions expertly answered. Glenn's pride in his work and that of his crew, his many years of experience, his commendable work ethics and competency in providing the best roofing for his customers, sold me at the initial estimate and proposal. I found no need to get any other estimates. I love my new roof!

Falcon Roofing completed the best roofing and gutter repair that I have seen. I like others initially contacted one of the big roofing companies that is always advertising on the radio and other places. They came out to my house and after over an hour of “pressure sales tactics” they presented us with an outrageous price. My neighbor had used Falcon Roofing for his roof replacement in 2013 and recommended them to me. I contacted Falcon Roofing and Glenn (the owner) contacted me immediately and set up a time to come out and give me an estimate. During the inspection estimate it was noted that I had two layers of roofing on my house and also the decking was over 50 years old. I requested two estimates. One for the roofing and gutters and the second for replacing the roof, decking (plywood under the shingles) and gutters. Glenn’s estimate to just do the roofing and gutters was 1/3 of the price of the big roofing company. I decided to replace the decking due to it being over 50 years old and my home inspector had identified some water damaged areas. Glenn’s estimate for doing everything, all new gutters, decking and roofing was still less than ½ the price of what the other company quoted me to just do my roofing with a cheaper type shingle. Also they did not include the price for any decking replacement or other damage they may have found and said those would be “miscellaneous” charges. I got the estimate on Saturday from Falcon Roofing and accepted it. On the following Thursday, Glenn and his team showed up promptly at the designated time and within 2 days I had a brand new roof, gutters and decking. The team was very professional and their workmanship was top of the line. After the job was completed, the team thoroughly cleared all of the debris. I highly recommend Falcon Roofing for anyone who needs their roof or gutters repaired.

Bottom line - he and his team did a great job! They took care for our landscaping and back deck, kept me updated on the process and were meticulous in clean up. Falcon also gave me new gutters on this job, not covered by insurance but it made good sense to replace them for several reasons. Due to issues with my new HVAC system my home has been excessively humid this summer. During troubleshooting the HVAC technician assessed that the house was under negative pressure (drawing outside air in). I called Falcon Roofing to assess my attic ventilation to determine if it may be contributing to the increased humidity in the house. Mr. Glenn Schrank inspected the roof (from the ground) and the attic. He assessed the two gable vents along with the attic fan provide adequate ventilation for the attic. Per his recommendation I removed the mesh screens from the gable vents since they were blocking airflow. After removal the airflow noticeably improved. This increased airflow should help remediate the negative pressure diagnosed by the HVAC technician; however, Mr. Schrank does not believe this was ever an issue. I found Mr. Schrank to be honest, knowledgeable, and helpful during his inspection. Despite spending over an hour inspecting my home and discussing roofing and ventilation issues with me Mr. Schrank refused payment. Instead he merely asked for consideration on future roofing jobs. I will definitely reach out to Mr. Schrank for a quote when the time comes to replace my roof.

I'm in the process of selling my 15-year old house, and the buyer sent an inspector. The inspector's report noted several deteriorated shingles that needed to be replaced, as well as a few other items that needed to be repaired or replaced by a certified roofer. So, I looked on Angie's List for a list of the top roofers in the area. My realtor warned me that I'd have the get the roof repaired right away if I wanted the buyer to sign the contract. Well, it's a busy season for roofers, and I could not find one available to give me a quick turn around. Then, I found Glenn, at Falcon Roofing. I called and caught him as he was arriving on a job site. I gave him the run down, explaining my urgency. He promised to call me back at the end of the day (that was a Friday). He called back, as promised, then showed up first thing Tuesday morning and performed a thorough inspection and provided such a clear knowledgeable explanation of what needed to be done. Glenn gave me a really reasonable quote and came right back on Thursday to complete the work. Glenn is extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and so genuine and personable. His prices are fair, and his work is impeccable.

Glen, the owner, came to my home and immediately got to work. He examined the damage inside first, then went on top of the roof, as well as the carport roof. He took his time and carefully inspected the shingles and roofing materials. Then, he went up into my very cramped attic to examine sources or evidence of water damage. He thoroughly examined the joists, and other surfaces and found no evidence of a leak. Glen assured me there was not a roof or other kind of leak because there was no evidence of water damage. Instead, he suggested, it might be humidity. Knowing that I did not have a leak or actual water damage reassured me and I was grateful for the inspection and expert advice.

I needed a professional to inspect my roof for leaks, as well as climb into a very small opening in my attic. Glenn was able to go in the attic and on top of the roof. He assured me there were no cracks for leaks. I was grateful to him to reassure me of the stability of the roof.

Chose another company. Though we chose another roofing company, Falcon's was very competitive and provided excellent support in helping us select a new roof. The main reason that we did not select Falcon Roofing is the product and the warranty that was offered by the other company. We would consider this company for any additional work, if necessary.

Glen, the company owner, personally came out to give the estimate and explain the services. We did not have to deal with a salesperson or high pressure sales pitch. He was very knowledgeable and low key, and his estimate was lower than 3 others we had done. The work was done in one day, they were very careful not to damage an awning we have over the front door, and were meticulous in the clean-up afterwards. Overall an excellent experience and I would highly recommend Falcon Roofing.

Quality work performed at a fair price, from a trustworthy, experienced company and owner. That is why I went with Glen and Falcon Roofing for my roof replacement. I previously used Falcon Roofing for a small job two years ago. I found a leak where my bathroom vent exits through the roof during a bad rain storm one Saturday morning. I was able to get a bucket under it but needed a roofer to prevent further damage. I called several roofers. No one could help while it was raining for safety reasons but everyone was booked out for several weeks. I called Falcon. Glen told me he was booked as well and to continue calling other companies but if he could get out to the house that week he would call and see if I still needed help. Monday, after finishing a job at the end of his work day, he called and said he could stop by, take a look and see what he could do. That is what sold me on Glen and made me remember two years later when we were ready a new roof. A small patch job wasn’t going to make him much money. I am sure he was tired at the end of the day and would have loved to call it quits, but he personally took the time to inspect the full roof and repair the area that leaked. He didn’t try to take advantage of the leak to do a hard press on buying a new roof. He told me the roof in general still looked in decent shape for being 16 years old (then). He said, it would probably need replacing in the next couple of years and to keep an eye on it. Hopefully I would remember him when it was time to replace. Of course, I did. A couple of years went by and we figured it was best to replace the roof under our timeline now then wait for another bad storm or major leak and force us into replacement. I called Glen and said we were ready for an estimate on a new roof. That is the start of what I like about Glen and Falcon Roofing. He answers the calls and there is no salesman. He is the owner, an experienced roofer, and he is the person that comes out to inspect your roof. He walks you through what will be done, materials to choose from, and prices it. He broke out the price between the roof and gutters. Because it isn’t possible to know how many sheets of plywood might need to be replaced until the old roof comes off, he priced the additional cost of plywood per sheet and, as an estimate, what the average number he replaces. He showed up on time for the estimate appointment and the day of the roofing job. I dropped of some iced waters and Gatorade mid-morning and his team was hard at work. He gave us a status call as promised early afternoon to let us know the findings of the existing plywood deck, and give us a ballpark on when he would be complete. I will note he obviously doesn’t needlessly replace decking to drive the cost up on customers because he told us ours decking was in good shape and we didn’t have any additional cost. It is nice to have some honesty and fair pricing these days in the home repair world. When he and his team was complete, the yard was clean of roofing materials. I did not find any roofing scraps in the yard around the house. The roof and gutters look great, and have held up to these early storms we have had over the last month in Virginia. I already recommended Glen to other coworkers that may need roofs replaced and would use him again.
