Kemp's Corner Sales and Repair

I visited Kemp's Corner because I had a Husqvarna chain saw that I couldn’t get started and they are one of two authorized Husqvarna service centers in the area. The chainsaw was unbelievably hard to start (I'm 6'5" 220 and work out six days and couldnt get it to go, nor could two friends who are former and current professional tree cutters). The cord was so stuck and hard to pull i thought the motor was seized up due to leaving it out in the rain a few times and sitting unstarted for about a year. Anyway, I walked into the store and Rob (lead mechanic) immediately stepped up to take a look at it. Rob is a stocky guy and after a few power pulls he got it sputtering. He took it to his work table on the "garage side", revving it the whole while. Smoke poured out of it and he continued to run it wide open, while simultaneously adjusting something on the side of the saw with a tool. After about 30 seconds Rob turned off the chainsaw, handed it to me and said “You’re all good”. When I asked what was wrong he told it was just a bit stuck and the carburator needed a slight adjustment. When I asked the charge he waved me off, saying again "You're all good". I left the store with thanks, feeling like a born-again tree cutter. Couldn't wait to get home to slice up the big branch that had fallen in my front yard! :-)
