Gordon and his two co-workers arrived on time in the early afternoon, having called the evening before. During the four hours they were here, they worked continually with great skill, never once showing any discomfort in the very hot and humid Virginia weather. Before they left, they even raked the lawn where some leaves had scattered leaving my surroundings looking worthy of the local garden club tour! After several months of disappointing and frustrating efforts to use the " local providers" ( I live in a mountainous, rural area where all males under 70 claim to be "experienced in doing tree work") I went to Angies List and Voila! There was Gordon Frazier's name within 25 miles of my home. I called and he came to view the trees , and give me an estimate within 5 days of my call. His price was very reasonable and his work and pleasant demeanor was exceptional. 5 stars!!

Gordon and his crew where outstanding. There bid was considerably lower than the rest and the crew showed up on time and did a great job clearing my yard. They are true professionals!

Outstanding experience. Their bid was significantly lower than any of the other four bids. They provided proof of insurance. They arrived the day after I agreed to their offer. The tree was removed in one day. The stump grinding was completed two days later. There were some unavoidable dents left in the lawn, and they spread and packed topsoil and provided instructions for planting grass seed. They were a pleasure to work with. I will call them again when other tree work is needed. Overall, the experience was fantastic.

This was an extremely pleasant experience. They arrived timely, were very knowledgeable, and worked very efficiently. We were quite concerned about the neighbor's fencing and we were assured there would be no problem -- and there was not. GWF is quite expert in removing trees very methodically and with out harming anything else around them. They cleaned up all debris and removed it. As the ground was wet, they scheduled the stump grinding at a later date and would not accept payment until the entire job was done. Their bid was less than others we had received, but was documented on a proposal estimate sheet which we both signed. We liked the professional approach and trusted this contractor. In early Spring we are planning to have GWF return to plant some shrubs, put down mulch and other necessary yard work. They provided us with some good information on what shrubs to plant and what we will need done in the Spring. We still have some other trees to remove and will certainly use them for that as well.

Contractor trimmed the trees as discussed safely and without damaging the house or my fence. Will definitely use these guys again. Highly recommended!!!

Mr. Fraiser provided a written, competitive, great estimate for the work to be done. We were able to schedule the work within a day of accepting his proposal. Mr. Fraiser and his crew arrived on time. They were professional, experienced, polite, friendly, and punctual. They were extremely competent, doing high areal complicated tree work near our home. We highly recommend Gordan W. Fraiser Tree Service. They did an oustanding job and we will definitely call them again for future tree service.

We moved into an older property recently and have had to hire many contractors for a myriad of things. Gordon is the contractor you wish they all were... Arrived with a smile, a solid handshake and a professional demeanor for the day of the estimate. His price was fair and was honest in the amount of work that "needed" to be done versus the nice to do's. Day of the work, he and his crew showed up promptly and set to work with no fuss. We have firewood for the winter and an immaculately clean yard after they cleaned up after themselves. Save for two chip piles and some visible sky where there were once dangerous overhanging branches, you wouldn't know they were there. If all contractors worked like these guys the world of home-ownership would be simple.

The work was done as planned and looked much better than i expected. The new tree looks very healthy as do the flowers and the white gravel between the driveway and the porch looks great. I will have to move some of the gravel as it was piled a little too deeply for me to open the gate that I put for access under my porch. Having a small project and dealing with other scheduling and weather related issues pushed back the actual work by about 5 weeks. It seemed to me that I had to initiate the contacts to get updates for when I would have my job started. I was given a two week window twice and at the both windows being missed, I contacted them. That was the part that I wasn't too thrilled about but I don't think it is a very large company so I am sure that the actual work getting done is the priority.

Service was great as usual. This is the third time I have used Gordon's Tree Service. He always provides a very fair price, prompt service and follows through with fully completing the job. Cleanup is incredible....hard to beat his company for quality service and price. I would highly recommend Gordon Fraiser's Company to anyone. I know they will be pleased!!

Did a great job and was by far the best price. Had two quotes from others that were 40-50% higher. Delightful individual. Very friendly and easy going. Called my wife and me "ma'am" and "sir". Felt like I was having a friend cut down my trees. He gave me a quote verbally and it took me a month to get back to him. When we called him back to go ahead with the job, he asked me what price he had said and took my word for it. Job was quickly & on-time. Would definitely recommend him and use him again.

Gordon, was an hour and a half late for the quote. He did not show or call on the scheduled day of cutting the trees. I had to call the office before getting another time scheduled. The second day scheduled, he showed up on time and did a great job getting the trees down and off to the side without hitting anything. very pleased with the work, just annoyed with no call no show the first scheduled time.

Not the cheapest but punctual and professional; very pleasant to deal with. All jobs done to satisfaction. Trees cut and cleared. Wood chopped to firewood length and neatly stacked. Stumps ground, area cleaned. Very good work. Would use again in a heartbeat.

The company was very professional. Gordon came out and gave us an estimate on Saturday. Which we were very grateful as it didn't affect our work schedule. This was a rather large job. The workers were professional and efficient. We were very pleased with the end result. Gordon came back upon completion of job to verify that we were satisfied with the end result before we paid him.

Gordon was very professional in all aspects. He and the crew were very efficient. The 50-60 ft tree was down and completely cleaned,up in only a few hours. Pulled definitely recommend Gordon Frazier Tree Service,

They cleaned up very well and they were excellent. Even though they fullfilled everything in the contract, they helped with trimming several other bushes.I would recommend them to everyone. They were fabulous. It was a great experience.

I was very impressed with Mr. Frazier calling me to rearrange our agreed start- date due to the snow storm. Mr. Frazier's 2 assistants knew the next move and kept working quickly and thoroughly. They cleaned up and cared for and about my property. They were an organized team with very clean and neat truck and equipment all in excellent working condition. They also made a very clean neat appearance, I was impressed with the job for which I contracted and the professionalism and pleasant manner the men conducted themselves. I recommend Mr. Frazier and his crew and will hire them again. The price was good, too!. I was impressed with the quiet conduct of the crew, no yelling back and forth and no smoking on my property. Mr. Frazier had very high recommendations with which I agree. It was a job well done and I am a pleased customer.

A crew of four showed up on the day scheduled with all equipment needed. They worked efficiently and carefully and did an excellent job. They cleaned up all debris, even some they did not cause. They were very friendly to work with and everything was done first rate.

I checked Angie's for this service and concluded this firm was best suited for the job. I contacted GWF Tree Service from Angie's list and explained my problem. Within 45 minutes Gordon gave me a call, saying he would stop by in about an hour --which he did! He immediately understood the situation, and suggested a solution that I agreed was correct. The work was delayed 2 days from his visit due to the weather (15 degree highs), but game as mutually agreed the third day. I and my wife were amazed how he and his crew accomplished the work without any damage to my deck, staircase or any surrounding structures. The price was lower than I had anticipated, and the clean up was exceptional. That's as good as ikt gets!!!

Unlike other tree services I have used in the past GWF did exactly as promised for exactly the amount quoted. They were very safe, and professional and with the exception of the missing trees you would never know they were here, they did a great job of cleaning up after all the cutting. I didn't actually chose them of an Angie's list search, them being here was a bonus. I choose them after watching the owner Gordon climb to the top of my neighbors 75 foot pine and methodically bring here down, very impressive work. Tree removal and major trimming can be very dangerous work, GWF is a professional, skilled and most importantly safe company, you wont be disappointed.

I was extremely impressed by the quality of service provided by Mr. Frazier. I had a large beech tree overhanging a section of my house and in a recent ice storm several of its limbs broke and were now lying on the roof. Since this is not the first time that this had happened and I have been concerned about the tree's health, I decided to have the entire tree removed. As I watched Mr. Frazier himself climb this 40 foot tall tree mere feet from my house, I was certain that some of the limbs might bang off of the house as they were cut. Instead, I was amazed to watch Mr. Frazier, who cut every branch and limb himself, only relying upon his assistants below for disposal, plan out each cut with meticulous care, arrange for ropes to suspend and then guide each broken limb gently down to the ground without more than brushing lightly against a bit of the roof. Once. It was a bitterly cold day, but Mr. Frazier took time with each cut and paused to consider how every piece would fall and where. If I ever have any difficulty with a tree near my house again, Mr. Frazier will be the first person I call.
