I recently had the pleasure of hiring The Irrigation Professionals to install a sprinkler system at my Townhome, and I am beyond thrilled with the results. Stay away from this company. I paid over $5,000 for irrigation systems installation. I know, way over price. But I really thought they were a "professional" company. They told me they were going to get the permit with the county. And 3 months after the Installation, they still have requested the permit. I have called them over 10 times. They always say that they will work on it... and NOTHING happens. They don't even call back to let me know what's going on. I encourage everyone to look at a different company. Believe me there are way cheaper companies, I just thought that by paying more I was going to get better service. I was totally wrong. You want the company for get the permit. It is super easy and it only cost $80, per the county. This people is super lazy. And you want the county to inspect the installation for your safety. Toxic could leak back into your house. Very dangerous.

They were timely with the service. Also I found they were professional, courteous and reasonably priced as well.

This company is the WORST! They installed my sprinkler system but getting them back for servicing (including winterization and spring activation) has been a nightmare. Rebecca, the office manager, is non-responsive and rude. Geary Powell truly does not care about customer satisfaction. They give you a 4 hour window for serving and then fail to show up during that excessively long window. They do not call to say when they are 20-30 mins away. They told me they didn't care when I informed them I was switching sprinkler companies. Don't waste your time or money with these people!

The water pipe from the county main to our house burst and the county turned off the water to our home. Geary Powell was responsive and gave us a reasonable quote compared to others we received. My wife and I experienced communications problems with Geary that resulted in the job taking longer than he originally estimated. The plumbing to connect to the outdoor spigots was botched, so there water can not be turned on to flow to the outdoor hoses. It seems to me that this job was probably too big for The Irrigation Professionals.

I had what looked like a leak at my water main where it enter my house through the wall. Geary was able to spot that it may not actually be a broken pipe, but a groundwater problem. He was able to quickly arrange a crew to due minimal excavation in front of my house to fix the problem. The leak was in fact not due to a busted pipe, so they sealed the wall with concrete and water proofer to ensure the leak was stopped, filled the hole and replanted the two bushes they had to dig up to do the work. The work crew was friendly and just as professional as Geary.

I searched couple irrigation companies and got quotes. I got fastest response from "The Irrigation Professionals" and reasonable price. Service was fast. They came on the next day and finished the job. I'd work them again. I'm very happy with the service. Thanks.

It went very well. The crew were really hard-working and did a very good job with only minimal lawn disturbance.

Initially things went pretty smoothly with this company, we got the written quote, chose to go with them. There then began to be communication problems, by this time it was getting pretty late in the year. When we finally nailed them down for installation it was December (late). The crew that came to do the install was not led by anyone we had spoken to previously about the job (salesman or the owner). They went to work and worked hard the whole day at the job. It took much longer than we were told it would, I ended up having to be off work the entire day. They didn't bring a part for the indoor control box wiring, so I had to go to a store and buy one for them. Once the crew finished and showed me the system was working and running water, I asked them if they were going to blow it out and winterize it (it was late December). They said no, that I would have to call the office and set up another appointment for that. I found this ridiculous as I was about to leave town for the holidays. They could not schedule winterization for before I left, thankfully the new system didn't freeze solid while I was gone. Once again came more communications problems with respect to the winterization, several failures to return messages etc. They finally scheduled but I told them I couldn't take the time off work. They gave instructions to turn off the water main in the house and they could do it without me there. I did this and when I returned home that night and turned the main water back on, there was all kinds of noise and shaking coming from the newly installed system pipes in the basement. I had no idea what was causing it but I couldn't very well keep the water off. Then a neighbor knocked on my door and asked if I had a water main break? I didn't think so but went outside to look and there was a RIVER running around the side of my house from the system. The person who had winterized it left the blow-out valve wide open and water was pouring out against the foundation of my house and running down the street. My understandably irate husband called the Irrigation Professionals the next day, he was hung up on (he used some salty language). After calming down there was another visit arranged for someone to come and PROPERLY winterize the system AGAIN. I thought this was a rather miserable experience and found the company's staff, other than the installation crew to be anything but professional.

They installed a complete irrigation system.They are very good. They know what they were doing and the job was done to our satisfaction. The quality was great and the job was great. Any time we have an issue, we call them, they will come back and fix it. I didn't expect anything less from them because they were referred to us by another contractor. They're very professional. I will very much use them again.

if you like paying 3 times the going rate for repairs this is your guy

The Irrigation Professionals didn't charge to on the labor and to replace the back flow because the people who installed it initially had trouble with it. They showed up on time and cleaned up after the job was finished.

These guys did an excellent job. They are very professional and went out of their way to explain all of the details of the job. They return their calls and follow-up service with text messages and/or calls. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for major repairs to an existing system. They are thorough.

Geary Powell and his team did an excellent job. Great crew. They worked hard. The job took 5 days to finish. Geary had a 4 man team on the job from 7am to 5pm everyday. They worked well as a team. Our yard was cleaned everyday at the end of the shift. Geary Powell knows his business and he treats his customers very well. He is a person of integrity and he has been very responsive to all our needs. We had some service issues and they came the next day and fixed it. We strongly recommend him.

The Irrigation Professionals (TIP) were very professional in their response to my inquiry, a detailed explanation in various offerings, and a continuous education in the process during the estimate, being very proactive. Geary is very knowledgeable in the business, as he was referred to me by a friend that has known him for over 20 years. Geary’s personality was great…not aggressive in approach, reassuring in the delivery and very informative when he and his guys came to delivery on installation day. Since the installation, he has followed up twice to see if I’m satisfied and if the sprinkler heads are set perfectly. He has been out to adjust one, quickly, without any issues, within 48 hours of my call. Great customer service, knowledge of various offerings, delivering great product and service. Would recommend TIP to anyone!
