Special FX Studio

I didnt have a specific idea going into the consultation so I was greatful to have Michele's expertise and input. She patiently worked with me to design a beautiful foyer that would compliment the rest of my home. When the job started, I was impressed and grateful for how efficiently she worked. Her supplies were contained and she was very clean. (On a side note, she was also very pleasant to be around.) I am THRILLED with the end result! My foyer looks so good and has made such a difference that I wonder why I waited so long to do it!!

The clerk at the Vienna Paint store in Herndon recommended her. I called and she came to look at my project as quickly as possible. She gave me an estimate for the work and stuck to it.

We just moved into our home and were referred to Special FX Studios. We called and Michele was prompt returning our call and setting up a free consultation. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted but Michele was patient and extremely knowledgable! Her pricing was competitive and we were excited with the look she helped us come come up with so we hired her. She worked under a tight schedule and was very prompt, professional, efficient, and clean! We were SO thrilled with the end result and have had many compliments! I am looking forward to our next paint project so we can use Special FX Studios again!

Michelle (the owner) was an absolute joy to work with. She was always on time and communicated extremely well! The price she gave us as her estimate was exactly what we paid! I couldn't believe how hard she worked on my cabinets, they were a mess! The amount of hand sanding that had to be done was remarkable and she did it all beautifully with no complaints. The most amazing thing was when she was willing to give up a Saturday to finish the wall painting. The other contractor had run way over schedule and Michelle couldn't finish the painting until they were done -- but it was getting really close to Christmas and I was starting to panic (I knew she had another job she was scheduled to start). Michelle just smiled at me and said, "I'll be here Saturday morning, ok?" She was here first thing and finished my kitchen in time for Christmas. Without a doubt, I would hire her again and suggest her to anyone and everyone!!
