They made my wife and I very happy with the quality of the work done, the timeliness, the cleanliness and thoroughness of their job. From everything I saw, safety was paramount for the workers and the property affected by the fallen cut limbs. I would highly recommend them to any homeowner that needs tree service around their home. My wife and I are very particular about the details of any job done around our home. Very well. Work was done professionally, courteously, and efficiently. The site was cleaned nicely. Tree chips were stored orderly. The company owner was polite and accommodating and not pushy. He took the time to answer all my questions. The equipment and vehicles were obviously cared for, clean, and in good shape. Very pleased with the work done by Mr. Turcios and his team. They were punctual, efficient and did a great job trimming an overgrown tree an removing a huge root that threatened the foundation. Very impressed with everything from the promptness of the estimate to the way that everything was cleaned up once they were done!

I reached out to three companies and Wilbur and Service Tree Care was the first one to reach back to me. Wilbur came out to my house in support of my schedule and provided an estimate within 24 hours. I was then in direct contact with him via text message and I was able to schedule his team to come back to my house within 48 hours. I was super impressed with his responsiveness. He was punctual the day of the job and exceeded my expectations. His team cleaned up the work area very nicely. I would definitely go with Service Tree Care in the future! Very positive experience!

Excellent! The price was very reasonable. The crew showed up at the scheduled date and time to perform the work. They cleaned up everything and did not leave anything behind. One thing I always look at is how the workers are equipped. This company provided the crew with everything they needed to do the job. They all had helmets, gloves, safety glasses, safety lines, etc. This is important to me. Overall, excellent service. I will hire them again and I highly recommend them.

Wilbur, Antonio and their team cleaned up 12 ash trees destroyed by the velvet ash bore. Some trees were as large as 18" diameter. Full removal, chip and haul away of all debris, including stump grind, for $3K. Price was only exceeded by the level of service! There were amazing, got the entire job done in 1 day to get the house ready for sale. Came back on a follow up to remove a large tree that came down in a storm. If I were staying in the area they would be my go-to contractor for any tree work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Chose Service Tree Care based on a recommendation and the fact they came in HUNDREDS below 2 other companies. Wilber and his crew were amazing! They came on the set date even though it was raining. The crew worked hard from 9am until 3pm without stopping! They were very respectful and polite. Will definitely use again and recommend!

Wilbur came out in advance to look at the work that needed to be done. He then gave me a quote and a date that he could come out. He was right on time when he arrived. He and his crew began work immediately. It took them about two and a half hours from the time they started until they finished. The area where the large tree stump was is now leveled and looking good. We had a tree bush (Larger than a bush but smaller that a large tree) partially blown over during one of the storms that came through. He reset the tree bush and secured it in the ground using some high quality wires. He was very thorough overall and I'm looking at using him again in the near future for some tree cleanup and removal. I was very pleased with how efficient he and his crew was.

Wilbur and his team were very professional. They were careful not to damage plantings under the big trees. They cut the logs into fireplace lengths and stacked it in the corner of the backyard as requested. They cleaned up the yard (front and back) and cleared the sawdust off the deck and grass. Wilbur is a great person to work with and all contacts (estimate and job day) were timely and professional. His crew was courteous and extremely hard working. We would recommend Service Tree Care to anyone needing tree work done in Northern VA.

Service Tree Care did an amazing job. Wilber, Antonio, and the rest of the crew were extremely professional, and they were very efficient in getting the job done. Communication was also very good. They contacted me right away after I sent an email inquiring about service, and they kept me informed about when they were going to complete the service. We had a couple of days of bad weather which prevented it from being done on the original day, but they made sure reschedule ASAP. When they were finished, they spent a long time cleaning up, making sure that any dust or debris was completely picked up. My yard looks even better than it did before they came! They will be the only company I call when I need work done on any trees around my house.

It went well, the only issue we had was getting more done in the time frame, but overall they did a great job and we will hire again.

Great !! From start to finish Wilber and his crew did an excellent job and we couldn't be happier. From the estimate (very fair price) to the work (all the tress look great and really opened up our yard) to the clean-up - everything was top notch. I can't say enough good things about Wilber and his workers. I will hire them again and again for all our future tree servicing needs.

A OK Split and stacked wood no problem

Service Tree Care, Inc. arrived on time, removed 5 large trees which were very near my house, and cleaned the area. Other companies told me the job would take at least 3 days. Wilbur brought 2 teams and completed the job in 1 day. Wilbur figured a way to move the large logs to the street without affecting my grass. Smaller branches and logs were chipped and placed in a large planting area ( this probably saved me over $500.00 vs. having a landscaping company provide the chips and labor). My wife and I are very pleased with the results and would certainly hire Service Tree Care, Inc. again.

We were drawn to Service Tree Care because of their many positive reviews here on Angie's List and other review sites. I can absolutely confirm that Wilbur and his crew are master tree cutters. They did an amazing job, safely and competently. The final result was even better than I expected, and they left the grounds even cleaner than when they showed up. However, I can't give them an A rating for several reasons. First, Wilbur was 90 minutes late for his appointment for our estimate. He did not call to indicate he was late, I had to call him and find out if he was still coming. He did apologize for being late. Next, once we hired his company for the job, they did not show up on the date agreed, due to a scheduling error on their part. Wilbur again apologized profusely and came on time the following day. Finally, during the job at our house, an outdoor Italian mosaic marble table was broken. Again, Wilbur extremely apologetic and we negotiated a price reduction from the overall job to compensate for it. Because of these items, I can't give an overall 'A' rating, based on our experience; however, aside from that, I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the work done. I would consider hiring this company again in the future.

The tree and stump removal couldn't have gone any better. After everything was done they swept and air blowed any debris left behind. It was completely clean.

I got three bids from companies off of Angies list. Service Tree Care was the lowest price bid. Wilbur, the owner explained the bid, asked where I found the company and gave me the $100 off since I found them through Angie's list. The three man crew (Wilbur plus 2) started on Thursday at about 1 pm and worked until about 5 pm doing the trimming, mulching and the smaller trees. They returned at about 9 am Friday and went to work on the big tree. Some of those dead branches hung over the house. They were careful in removing all branches including not damaging the small perennial garden between the stone patio and tree. He had all of the correct equipment to do this job including a small tractor that could pick up the huge pieces of trunk and take them to his truck. They totally cleaned up after, including taking out the tractor tracks on the path. They left the mulch pile exactly where I specified. Wilbur is a pleasure to work with and I recommend them to everyone.

Service Tree Care was wonderful! They came not once, but twice to my home to give me free estimates for the work. (It was my fault they ended up having to come twice, because I found out that we actually needed two trees removed instead of one.) I will tell you that we had gotten at least 2 other estimates from other contractors, but Service Tree Care was the best price. The best part about working with them is that all correspondence was done through email, and we did NOT have to be home for them to do the estimates, a great time saver for busy people! I just tied a plastic bag around the trees I needed estimates for, to mark them. They came on the day specified in the morning, and worked with Dominion Power, so that our electricity only had to be turned off for about 15 minutes. (We thought we would have to call Dominion back to get the power re-connected, but they did it all in one go so that the Dominion guy only had to stay for 15 minutes, to turn the power off and then back on again.) They removed all the wood, and shredded the stumps as agreed. They chipped and hauled away all the trunk material, and we decided to keep the shredded stump material to use as mulch around our yard. They cleaned up nicely, and everything looked great! Their team was efficient and professional and had everything done by lunch time. My husband and I were very impressed and would certainly use their services again. My only advice to another customer is that they seem to prefer email communication verses a phone call. Just be detailed in your email and wait for them to respond, which they do within a day or so. Thanks and happy tree servicing!

Mr. Emerson Turcios arrived as scheduled and provided an estimate of the work to be done. His team arrived as scheduled and were very professional and polite. After trimming the tree, they cleaned the area completely and quickly. My neighbors were very impressed on the cleanup and with the trimming. I would use this company again without any hesitation and would recommend them highly.
