Description of Work: Posts put in the basement. Floor is very sturdy now

Description of Work: put jacks under beam, showed up on 12th to install jacks but the prior crew did not pour the footer yet so was delayed a day.

Description of Work: We called for an inspection for what we were told was going to be a big fix. Phil came out and assured us that our problem wasn't as big as it was made out to be and gave us what he thought were to best options for our repair. Then he helped us to figure out financing and how much we would have to pay monthly to get the job done, but that could still fit our budget as we had to have it fixed sooner than later. Sinking floors from an improperly centered steel beam and only 1 pole to support my entire top level of my house don't wait. We paid a 20% downpayment to get the work started in about 4-6 weeks, but the first payment won't actually be due til after we sign off on the work. As of now we are please with how things have been handled. Will update once work has been completed

Description of Work: They put in 14 Smart Jacks in 2008 and then didn't follow up with to make adjustments. Then when I finally called them because of cracks continuing in my walls (which was the original reason I had them put the jacks in) they sent a technician out who just "tightened the jacks" by feel and whom didn't check for height or level of the floor joists. I called back and they said the tech didn't do it right and they'd call me back; they didn't. I called them back two weeks later and they said...oh...we're sorry, let me get someone there. They stood me up and I had to call to back to get another appointment. This tech seemed to at least check the level and found more than 4 of the 14 jacks loose...not holding the house at all (only 3 weeks from the other tech). Bottom line, I think I've been scammed and I paid over $12K for nothing. I still have seasonal cracks and wall to ceiling separation; nothing seems to have changed with $12K expended.

Description of Work: AS OF THIS DATE JES CONSTRUCTION HAS COME TO MY HOME FOR AN INSPECTION ONLY. I HAVE NOT DECIDED IF I WILL HAVE WORK PERFORMED AT THIS TIME. THE INSPECTOR (CHRIS) WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. SO FAR, MY EXPERIENCE WITH JES CONSTRUCTION HAS BEEN A GOOD ONE. WILL UPDATE IF I HAVE WORK DONE.

Description of Work: Did not realize I would need to replace my entire basement bathroom when they finished due to miscommunication with the actual workers. Otherwise, their service was excellent.

Description of Work: Jes Installed drain tray,all around the basement, installed two sumps in landray room,They moved outside location sump to the inside. dug a new drain outside to route sub surface foundation water and pipe it to the inside sump pumps. Filled in old sumpwell and resurface area. I had have my elect/mech put in to seperate plugs for sump pumps. Crew removed flooring by walls dug under paneling walls, installed water trays, they removed shelving in closets,and flooring to install tray. Concreted area and had to cure for week. checked out system. Came back in one week and relayed floor and put shelves back in closets, Cleaned up area.Crew did great job. Considering that dilling was a dusty job, they cleaned pretty well. My sons came back put the place back in order and cleaned up the the area. I didn't expect JES to do all the clean up as the furniture was out of place. Also JES put two 1 1/2 pipe to carry the water to the side yard where there is a natural path to Street. The job was done about two years ago and every thing is working ok, I've aready gave Jes a possible customer and I'm not afraid to recommend JES to new people.

Description of Work: They installed a water seepage system inside my house. Details were explained and the workers were punctual, efficient and performed expert services.

Description of Work: Had some basement flooding - had JES install a sump pump. Minimum cost for JES is $3200.00. Additional costs before job was complete were: Plumber $545.75; Electrician $250.00; drywall reinstalled, painted, floor tile reinstalled $535.00. |Costly project but so far there has been no more flooding. Description of Work: Installed six piers to correct a foundation problem. The crew did a very good job; very neat and easy to work with.

Description of Work: Installed push-piers (foundation supports) around our house to control foundation shifting. After 3 years it seems to be working.

Description of Work: They resolved a pipe leak and mold problem in my basement.

Description of Work: Waterproofed basement and placed carbon fiber strip on basement wall that was bowing.

Description of Work: After meeting with 3 companies, we believe JES has what it takes to get the job done. They will do our house after we get our finances in order.
